"Its my fault for snapping at you like that I knew it was an accident and I'm sorry" she looked up at the foxes blue eyes, he really did remind her of a pup. He seemed so happy and outgoing and doesn't hold grudges like a lot of older foxes. Fredrick as she noticed was also a bold fox she noticed by his just walking right up to her and talking, courage she never had.
Aponi walked into the clearing with herbs in her mouth "Am I interrupting?" she asked hoping she wasn't. "If I am I'll leave" Aponi said looking down at her paws.

"No its my fault." He gave Cleo a stern look. Then he smiled and said "Ok, i guess its your fault if it makes you happy"

"Share the blame fifty fifty?" Cleo asked the sandy colored fox. The red in her cheeks slowly disappearing as she relaxed around the new fox, her posture was slacking a little and then she noticed Aponi and the hers she was carrying. "Oh hello Im so sorry I didn't notice you" Cleo said sincerely sorry.
Aponi stepped farther into the clearing, "Oh no trouble at all" the pretty blue and white fox said as she carried the herbs to Cleo. "Now some things may sting but it will all help your shoulder heal" Aponi said reassuringly. Aponi set down the herbs and started to put the cool herb poultices onto Cleo's shoulder wound.

"Sure!" he yelled. He noticed Aponi healing Cleo's wound. "Oh i'm sorry. Hello there." He said to Aponi

"Its no big deal guys im used to being a quiet healer" she assured them. Aponi was a born healer and it was easy to tell by the way she treated the wound, she used herbs most haven't heard of and she worked with quiet efficiency. Quickly working on Cleo's wound with the right herbs in the right places she carefully and intricately bandaging her wound in birch bark. When she was done she grabbed a birch bark cup and told them "Im going to go get some water for Cleo" and ran off towards the stream.
"I guess its settled then" Cleo chuckled to the new fox. This the first time she really studied his physical features, her gaze went from his deep blue eyes not quite as icy looking as hers but a deepl ocean color to his sandy orange coat. She looked down at his fluffy tail that had a pretty brown tip to his shoulder with the gold mark on it. This whole time she never noticed Aponi's intricate healing that seemed to come natural to her but only to the sight of Fredrick.

"Sure is," he said. He noticed her heavenly blue eyes and her halloween like colored fur. One of his favorite holidays. "hey about those falls i told you about," his cheeks turned a bright red color while looking at the halloween fox "you wanna go together? like right now?" He noticed the path was clear to the falls today, no trees were bent nor was there a lot of grass for ticks.

Her shoulder was holding up better with Aponi's treatment th pain was dulled with the poultices. "If I can make it down their sure" she said with a little enthusiasm partly because she needed to wash off the mud that plastered her fur and her prized ribbon on her snowy white tail. Trying to get up she kept her weight to her opposite shoulder and surprisingly was able to stand up and fight back the pain that ebbed through her shoulder. Cleo was standing and she was happy to finally be off the dirty ground. Still weak from her shoulder wound she asked "Would you help me? I don't think I can make it on my own" she said hopefully.

"Here," he lifted up Cleo and placed her on his back, "dont worry, im pretty strong." He ran through the twisted forest, trying to get there as soon as possible so cleo could wash off. He knew she didnt want to be dirty all day.

"Umph" Cleo gasped as she was lifted easily onto Fredrick's back. She was comfortable and pressed her muzzle into his shoulder as he ran easily through the brush with her on his back. "Im not worried" she said reassuringly to Fredrick laying her face down on his soft fur she felt safe like she was on a cloud.

He ran through all the twists and turns and finally came to a stop. "We're here" he pointed to the beautiful waterfall coming down to a lazy river. This place was like heaven to him. "How do you like it?"

Reluctantly taking her face of off Fredrick's sandy coat she looked up at the waterfall and her mouth opened wide. In all her life she had never seen anything more beautiful then the sparkling waters never heard anything louder or more relaxing then the sound of the waterfall. "Wow its beautiful" she gasped, the place took her breath away.

"Isn't it?" He looked at her face while she was in awe, such a beautiful face followed by a great expression. "Lets get you washed up" he said. He put her down softly onto the shore and walked over and got a rag he had left on a tree and put it in the water. He picked it up and washed her gently, trying to to watch the pain on her shoulder. For one thing, he was no doctor, but he knew when it hurt, it hurt.

She looked to Fredrick as he washed her fur, she enjoyed being near the Sandy colored fox. As he was washing her she watched him every movement trying to stay away from her aching shoulder she liked his tender touch better then Aponi's. "Thanks you" Cleo said gratefully as her bright orange coat became visible as the mud came away.

"it's my pleasure" he said. He noticed how shiny her fur was. He walked over and got a thin, bendable branch. he took the rag and wrapped it around her wound. "Are you still okay?" he asked, his face completely red in blush
