Psycho nodded. "All right." He said. "But you really need to stop underlining to 'nice' thing. One, I'm a doctor, two, I care about you." Fluff. "So...well, of course I'm going to take care of you like that." Fluff fluff.

As much as he didn't want to go out there, the music calmed his nerves. He listened to it quietly for a few moments and then made his way over to the hole. Without much trouble, Sunshine managed to squeeze out of it, falling on the ground in front of him with a thump. He was unlucky in that respect, always falling over.
"Take me back to Pebble," he demanding, not even caring if they couldn't understand him. To get his point across, he pointed at himself, made a flying motion and then mimed tying a shawl around himself to symbolize that he wanted to go back into his associate's care, and that he wasn't going to take no for an answer.
---
Pebble nodded to this, unable to keep from blushing. He really did care about her, and not just because he was a doctor. "I care about you, too, Psycho. And I'll try to stop underlining the nice stuff. You don't seem to like it." She chuckled as she said this, adjusting her shawl and flower once she wrapped it around her to make herself more presentable. For some reason, ever since she first met him, Pebble tried her hardest to look as nice as she possibly could when she was with Psycho. Now that she was scarred, though, it wouldn't make much of a difference anymore.

Nintendo nodded. "Yes, little guy. We'll take you home." He said. He turned and glared at Mesa. "Let's go." he said, taking off, Mesa following close behind him. He banked and made her lead the way so she couldn't try anything while his back was turned.
Slowly, they made their way up to Psycho's nest. Nintendo guided Mesa to land outside the doctor's. He would bet his ocarina that Pebble was here. "Pebble. Dr. Psycho." He called.

Hearing Nintendo, Psycho wondered if Pebble wanted to be seen yet. He had no time to ask her aloud. "What is it?" he called back, de-fluffing as quickly as possible.

As quickly as he could, the passeridae dipped down and landed in Psycho's nest. He greeted the doctor with an overly-excited twill and made his way over to Pebble's nest, only to stop dead in his tracks. Before him sat a pidge that he wouldn't have recognized if it weren't for the shawl around her neck. She was different, obviously, and he couldn't help but be taken back by the sight of her.
Yet he quickly snapped out of it, rushed over to his associate's side, and snuggled her warmly. "Pebble! I missed you so much!"
The Whisperer couldn't have been more happy to see her chickadee friend. When he snuggled her, she wrapped her arms around him and pulled the little bird into an affectionate and protective hug. "I've missed you too, Sunshine. I've missed you too. But I'm glad to see that you're okay, and don't worry..I'll never leave you again."

"Me and Mesa were just....returning a little lost friend." he called back. He grabbed Mesa by the leg with his talons so she couldn't leave. "And Mesa wants to apologize to Pebble for all the trouble she's caused over a stupid necklace."

"Oh?" Psycho asked, voice controlled as his eyes began to blaze. He quickly figured out who was behind Pebble's crippling and kidnapping. Mesa couldn't hide that from him. "Come up here then."

When Pebble noticed the look in the doctor's eyes, she immediately placed a wing upon his shoulder gently. "Doctor," she whispered to him, "please don't do anything rash. I don't want you to end up hurt, too. It isn't worth it..."

There was a ruffling of wings and Nintendo landed. When he saw Pebble's face, he gasped. "Oh! Jeeze, Pebble!" he said, hopping over as Mesa stood at the door, glaring at her talons.
Nintendo didn't care that she was unshawled. In fact, he didn't notice. "Oh! I never meant for this to happen to you!" he said. "I told her to leave you be." he preened her wing. "She promised she wouldn't steal." "AND I DIDN'T!" Mesa screeched. "I ABDUCTED HER ASSOCIATE AND SHE GAVE ME THE NECKLACE!"

"What do you expect from the lowest of the low?" Psycho scoffed, trying not to lose it. "Sneaking around rules and promises to get a worthless piece of junk that would probably only enhance her vast ugliness. And not only that, but you take Pebble's eye with you!" He took a step closer, directed at Mesa now. "You don't deserve your miserable life! You deserve nothing! None of the trinkets you've stolen, none of the crowfood you've scavenged! Not. One. Bit." At a moment of weakness, Psycho came over and slapped Mesa in the face himself. He retreated slowly. "That will never even be close to what you should feel."

Immediately after Psycho slapped Mesa across the fact, Pebble jumped up. She then made her way to his side, ready to defend him if she had to. With her good eye she gazed over at Nintendo with a calm expression. "Mesa didn't steal the locket. She and I made a deal. If I was to bring her the necklace, then she was to give me back Sunshine. But she didn't. When she blackmailed me for my shawl and to work as her 'assistant' I had enough. I attacked her, and this is how I got into the state that I am now. It wouldn't have been that way, however, if she just kept up to her end of the deal by giving me back my associate. So...before this gets any more out of hand, Nintendo, think about all that."
Sunshine blinked as all of the pidge talked among themselves. It was certainly an interesting sight to watch. Oooh! Mesa had just gotten slapped in the face for some reason by the doctor. Oh, well, he thought. She deserved it. He tilted his head as their conversation continued. This whole ordeal should be made into a movie.

Mesa ruffled her feathers up and stamped her claws. "COWARDS! FAT a** BIRDS! IDIOTS! I PLAYED EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU! LET THE FOX GUARD THE CHOOKS, WOULD YOU?!" She shouted. "The necklace is mine now so why can't we all just be friends?!" she was in a state of hysteria, Nintendo not trying to defend her at all from the slap. She deserved it.

"You took the sight of her eye! Her godsdammed eye! And all you can think about is a stupid locket that will eventually break and lose its shine! She never did anything to you!" Psycho thought that Pebble's attack was exempt from the category, as Mesa had been unreasonable and did do something very wrong herself. He started to fluff up again. No Pidge had ever seen Psycho this mad. If Friendly Skies had been there(he was currently looking for some items he thought Psycho would like), he would have been appalled himself.

Mesa's screams had startled her so much that she jumped when she started shouting. Never before had she seen her this mad, and if she knew what the thief could do when she was just a little upset...think how much she could do when she was furious! It was then that she went back behind Psycho, just in case Mesa went on another tirade again. That was one thing she didn't want to be on the receiving end of.
