*hyperventilates* This is the best topic in this whole guild. It should be a sticky. 'Cause Remus is my homeboy. Right after my Draco.
His portrayal in the move was baaaad. Bad.
Tonks/Remus? No. It was...random.

I would love to murder whoever directed the 3rd Harry Potter movie. Last time I checked, Remus was *not* a *****. He's there to teach Harry and help him, especially because he was friends with James Potter. NOT HIT ON HARRY.
*Sigh* Okay, got that mini-rant out of the way.
I really like Remus. He's an interesting character. He's never really in the spotlight, but still has an impact, and a REALLY interesting past.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? He's an underapriciated character in the books. I hope he takes a main part in book 7.
A little off topic, but still fairly humourous- I had a friend who drew Remus totally goth a couple of years ago. Eyeliner, dark eyeshadow, black clothing the works! It was really beautiful! I wish I still had it.....

yeah, remus and tonks, big age difference and really really random. the guy in the movie was really creepy, i thought. he's too small a character, considering he was one of james potter's best friends.
i read this awesome fanfic with remus in it. totally believable and pretty happy.

fanfiction.net "living with danger" it's not short, but it's really good. No, it's not short at all...but very sweet. Have you read the series? Yep. that's right, people. There is an entire Dangerverse. Kinda like Potterverse....but better. I love it. It's AU though...for those of you who don't like...read anyway. It'll turn you. I love dangerverse.

Remus is an awsome character. He is one of my favorite murauders, and you can have so much fun with him in fanfictions. More so if you are in the mood to write something morbid, or depressing. Or you can make him happy, you know, with his three (two now) friends.

[rant=wtf?JKR]OH NO JKR YOU DID'NT! SHE RUINED HIM! [/rant] In general I liked, DH. Its and HP book, of course I did. But I HATED every scene except one with Remus in it. That was the scene after his death (hiss) where Harry has used the stone and apologizes. That was the Remus I was used to. Not the one fighting with Harry, or randomly talking about his son at the TOP of his voice to diffuse a Weasley arguement. And we BARELY SAW TONKS! While I might have had an issue with them as a couple at first, I still though of Tonks as one of my favorite characters, and to see both her and Remus treated this way was not cool. *huff* stare And poor Teddy! crying

I like Remus in the books. But I dislike him in the movies. I don't think the actor suits him very well.

In the third one he get the teacher manner right, little else. He was kinda bland....and...the 'STASH! *wails* lol. Ok, so I found it a little weird they gave him one. *shrugs*
