The Note:
[[ There are two different locations where this roleplay is starting out. The Organization will be starting out at the Organization headquarters in the conference room, discussing what future plans are. The Nyx, are also at their headquarters- getting ready to discuss their plans. I want you all to be sure to add where your character is currently- before you make a post. This is the format: Character:: Location:: With NPC?::
ie. Location:: Nyx territory, Outskirts ie. Location:: Nyx territory, Local Bar ie. Locattion:: Organization territory, Local Salon ie. Location:: Crossing the River.
Wherever your character is, the first part of the location would be in which territory- Organization or Nyx. Then put a comma and write exactly where you are. Just so everyone won't get confused with the characters.
If you have two different characters that are in two different locations please be sure to include. Don't put the locations right underneath one another So it would be like this:
Location:: Organization territory, headquarters Text goes here Location::Nyx territory, headquarters Text goes here for separate character
IF YOUR CHARACTER IS WITH AN NPC, please include that. (Unless you are the NPC of course) If your character isn't just write N/A or make a dash.
(Also, the Nyx members of course know each other and the Organization members know each other, so we don't have to go through the whole formal introduction ordeal. Just that Nyx members MIGHT NOT know the Organization members- depending on who you are that is)
So, as of now- everyone is in one of these two locations
Location:: Organization headquarters, Conference Room
Location:: Nyx headquarters, Conference Room
01-27-09 This RP has officially started! ]]

Character:: The Commander (NPC) Location:: Organization headquarters, Conference Room
The Commander was dressed in his usual army outfit, green camouflage cargo pants and a matching green camouflage long-sleeve shirt, directed his red laser pen on the map of Serial on the projector screen behind his swivel chair.
“As you all may know, the large group of convicts- who call themselves The Nyx- have band together and is deciding to advance on these surrounding towns,” the Commander circled his laser pen around the small boxes to the northwest of the Nyx territory. “Now the problem is this, how should we go about advancing? We know we have to send a squadron to help aid these towns but how about taking on the actual Nyx Force?”
The Commander turned to face the group of Organization members, consisting of only the Generals and Captains, seated accordingly around the large table. He gazed firmly at each face. “So, give me ideas,” the Commander barked loudly, his voice rough. He was expecting answers. Fast.

LCσATIσN:: Organization HeadQuarters, Conference room CαRαCTΣR:: Dayne Pryor
✸ - ✸ - ✸ - ✸ - ✸ The male trotted lightly down the tiled hallway, his boot heels clicking quietly on the floor as he rolled the ideas in his head. Today he would announce his plan to attack the Rebels, he had contemplated for hours over this thought and he was eager to try it out. He was late for the meeting and he knew the Commander would have his head, but he had faith in this plan that it would save his hide. Clasping his hands behind his back he stopped outside the conference doors, closed his eyes and breathed in deeply; opening his eyes he pushed the twin doors open and beheld the mahogany table.
Seated about the piece of wood the other Generals and Captains turned their heads to Dayne as he made his entrance; walking to his chair he bowed to the Commander.
"I apologize for my late entry, sir." He took his seat at the Commander's right hand, "I believe I have found a solution to your predicament; its not going to be easy but it should work."

Character:: Clark G. McArthur Location:: Nyx HQ, Conference room
Clark was the earliest to arrive at the conference room. Nobody else had arrived yet. Of course, Clark didn't care, they knew by now that he was always the first one in. He took a minute to survey the room. It had been several weeks since the last meeting, but the room was unchanged. Candles provided the only light for the Nyx members, which was an even bigger strain on Clark's eyes. The walls were coated in a dark, indistinguishable paint. It was plain, but not in a forgotten sense. In the center of the room was a rather large, circular table. Around it sat six chairs, one for each of the leaders of Nyx. Truthfully Clark liked the room, it was cozy in it's own way.
He took a random chair, as he had done the last few meeting. As far as he was concerned, they were all equal, and they needed no assigned place to sit. Of course, 'Alpha' as his men called him, was the technical head, and founder of Nyx, they all had their equal importance. The chair he sat in creaked as Clark leaned back in it, strumming his fingers absently while he waited for the others to show up. He wondered then, what the meeting was about. So far nothing too major had been discussed, and Clark wanted to help map out their first move already. He had grown jaded the past few weeks of running his 'guild' of thieves, as Clark called it. The Nyx needed to make itself known as a threat to the organization soon, or Clark would die of boredom.
And what a pity that would be. He thought to himself, as he stared at the fan above him, and waited.

Character:: Cadel Carthak Location:: Organization headquarters, Conference Room
- - -
Cadel was already running through various scenarios in his mind when Dayne appeared suddenly, it startled him, Dayne was almost never late. He was far too devoted to his job for that. The man must have been mulling over some important thoughts. Cadel's hunch was correct when the blonde announced to everybody at the conference table that he had a plan. Somehow he didn't like that. He knew Pryor to be the kind of person who was, in a word, ruthless. Still, the man wouldn't take any unnecessary risks in his strategy, but he probably wouldn't be sorry if a rather unexpected number of deaths occurred. As long as they could still win the next battle.
He would never admit to anybody else, but Dayne set him on edge, same with that Crow. They did their jobs well and fine, but the personalities of the two men were... Not quite normal. He knew it wasn't right to be feeling this way about comrades, but it was hard to miss the auras of passive hostility they both put off. Or was that just him?
Cadel rested his elbows on the table and supported his head with clasped hands. He suppressed a sigh of discomfort and looked the general, his eyes expecting.

Character:: The Commander (NPC) Location:: Organization Headquarters, Conference Room
The Commander glanced sharply at the figure that had just walked into the room. The Commander was surprised; Dayne was not someone that would be late. In fact, Dayne was usually the early one the in the room. “Dayne Pryor! You know the drill!” the Commander bellowed his voice ringing through the room. “No one is excused for tardiness! Drop-
The Commander paused, he was used to be ordered to drop down and give 100 push-ups, but of course that was still when he was in the army...it would be rather difficult to do that now wouldn’t it? The Commander cleared his throat before continuing, “Meet me in my office later General. What is this plan you mention of?”
-----
Character:: Christopher “Crow” Scar Location:: Organization Headquarters, Conference Room
Crow sat there with his eyes closed and smirking as the Commander bellowed at Dayne. He didn’t have to see but he knew how mad the Commander was; it was quite amusing actually, that Dayne- out of all the people here- was being yelled at by the Commander. Crow found these meetings dull, there was nothing to do but sit there and collect spit from the Commander. And it was quite bad since Crow sat only two seats away from the Commander.
Eventually, Crow opened his eyes and took in the members that were seated around the table, waiting for Dayne’s “great” plan. His crimson red eyes paused at the particular Captain Cadel Carthak. Cadel, the easy –going-and-righteous Captain. Crow gave Cadel a wave with the ballpoint pen in his hand and faked a friendly smiled, his eyes again leering. Crow knew Cadel wasn’t particularly fond of him- which was fine to Crow- and he enjoyed pulling at Cadel’s strings. Just to see what his Captain would do to a General like him.

Character:: Akana Massri Location:: Nyx headquarters, Conference room
Akana walked into the room, her movements languid and graceful as she took a seat carelessly across from Clark. She was unusually early, normally Akana arrived when most seats had been taken. Today, however, was different. She hadn't wanted to roam the streets and chat or stay at home killing time.
She didn't know Clark well, but it was always easy for her to strike up a conversation. However, Akana merely nodded, murmuring a polite greeting before the thoughts bothering her drew her attention inward. Akana's obsidian eyes gazed into the middle space between her hands and Clark's, which were resting on the smooth surface of the table.
The silence hung like a heavy curtain over her, and soon it pounded at her ears uncomfortably. I should say something, said a small, insistent part of her mind. Anything, it doesn't matter what.
"Sorry for my silence, I'm distracted by other problems right now, I didn't mean to ignore you," she apologized eloquently, her voice soft yet resonating.

Clark would have grinned, if he could that is. Instead he gave a soft chuckle and run a hand through his hair. Out of everybody that was a leader of the Nyx, he didn't expect Akana to be the second to arrive. She was usually one of the last to be present.
"It's no trouble, I wasn't exactly being the conversational animal on this side of the table."
Truthfully, between being bored and staring at the ceiling fan, he had hardly noticed her arrival. He mentally warned himself to be more alert in the future.
"I should be thanking you actually. Boredom can kill someone as quickly as a bullet in this place." He added, leaning forward in his seat now. His left elbow propped up on the table, cradling his head. While his right continued to absently strum beside him.

Akana laughed. It was a pleasant, appealing sound. "I completely agree. Stagnation of interest is a much harder way to die than a shot to the chest," she replied, smiling.
Her shoulders loosened and a slight arch to an elegant eyebrow reflected her amused interest perfectly.
She loved it when people surprised her. They were so full of hidden personalities, she was always pleased when something new was revealed. Clark had just shown that he was a humorous and dynamic person. It made her curious to see what he would say.

"Harder, longer, and a thousand times more painful. Accompanied by loss of sanity and maybe even a bullet to the chest if you run down the streets screaming of boredom. Stagnation of interest, I'll have to remember that." Clark added that last part mostly to himself. He was glad for the pleasant, non-business conversation. It certainly helped to aleviate the aformentioned boredom. Clark hadn't really gotten to know the other members of Nyx, even though it had been formed for quite some time. The other meeting really didn't give a glimpse into each person's personality.
He wasn't able to make her face out clearly with the poor lighting. With his already poor eyesight, Clark didn't feel like making a show of himself leaning halfway across the table and squinting at her. He knew it was Akana though, her voice gave it away. He took a second to blow away a piece of hair that had fallen over his face before leaning back.
"It's good to see someone other than the baffoons working under me agreeing with me." He finally said, trying to keep the conversation from dying at the word 'that'.

Akana grinned impishly and moved her chair closer to the table, propping up her elbows. "It's good to see someone other than the others working under me has a sense of humor," she joked.
Clark was different. He looked different than normal, not quite smiling but still clearly pleased. Akana couldn't stop from observing his body language and analyzing his facial expressions. It was how her mind operated, and it had kept her alive in the dangerous streets.
"You know, Gallows doesn't quite suit you. You aren't nearly as grim as you act during meetings, unless you're acting now," she mused aloud, hoping he wouldn't take it the wrong way in retrospect.

Clark couldn't shake the feeling that she was studying him, as much as making conversation. He didn't mind, if he was interesting enough to be studied then he wouldn't take it as a fault.
When Akana had finished speaking he gave another one of his chuckles before leaning forward once more, matching what he could see of her posture.
"If the men working under you have a sense of humor, then I think we should trade minions." He replied, turning his grim smile into a smirk, or at least as close as he could get to one. He didn't try to figure her out. She would reveal herself through conversation and action, over time. Clark was patient, even if he got bored easily.
"I quite like the nickname actually, it certainly keeps the new men in line. 'Gallows' I certainly wouldn't want to cross a man with that nickname." He said, shrugging when he finished. He hadn't openly answered her question, but hopefully did so anyway.

"You have to have a sense of humor if you work with me," she said, unafraid of mocking herself. "If your name is meant to intimidate, I suppose it serves the purpose."
Akana paused and thought, a new fact striking her. "If your title is meant to intimidate, then what is 'Trickster' supposed to do? Inspire suspicion?" She laughed a little at the idea.
"You are quite a surprise, you know. Would you mind if I called you by your given name? I can't bring myself to call you Gallows in casual conversation."

LCσATIσN:: Organization HeadQuarters, Conference room CαRαCTΣR:: Dayne Pryor
✸ - ✸ - ✸ - ✸ - ✸ Dayne cleared his throat and stood up, the irritation in Commander's voice could not be missed; clearing his throat he addressed the small group, "As we all know the Nyx have taken over parts of Serial, however my calculations tell me that at their current state their supplies have depleted."
The blonde's eyes scanned the crowd and he looked each in the eye as he continued. "I propose that we set a trap; set up a caravan of supplies to lure the Nyx out of their dens. In the meanwhile we have a well organized ambush take them when their guard is down."

"Well, we are criminals. I suppose suprise is something we should be good at. Clark is fine, Gallows is too grim for casual conversation, I agree" He replied, nodding as he did so. He cared little about giving his real name to her to use as she willed. If someone wanted to hunt him down Gallows was as easy to trace as Clark, probably easier.
She had a decent point with her small joke. Every name had it's purpose in it's own way, for enemies and allies. Trickster though was an odd one.
"I suppose trickster can lure them into a false sense of security, before they are murdered or otherwise disposed of. Yes, that must be it." He reasoned with her, leaning back once more. The others certainly were taking their time to arrive. Though they weren't officialy late ntill Alpha began the meeting. Nyx's conferences had no set begining times, just general ideas.
