"If not I'll at least build up a callus from where I land and then it won't hurt as much." Jinx chuckled a bit more. It was a funny though since she always landed on her butt. That meant her butt was going to be really big one day.
Jinx stood up up and slowly walked back to the log to sit down.

Yvv laughed, "That's true." It would be better if she could learn to walk without falling, he thought, but it seemed like she had gotten used to falling down. So maybe it was okay that she did, as long as she was fine with it there was no reason no one else shouldn't be.
He smiled and skipped over to the log as well. This time he sat on the grass next to it, to avoid falling off the log again, and peered at her human-esque legs. They were indeed interesting, long and awkward seeming, yet at the same time holding an air of gracefulness that his short paws had a lack of.
No other anthro he had met let him stare at their human features long before becoming annoyed and stalking off, so he kept his gaze to a minimum length before looking back up at Jinx. "So were you just taking a stroll?" he asked.

JInx nodded. "Yeah, even though I fall I like to walk around. It's nice and peaceful out here in the world. Plus you never know who you might meet. I guess I'm a glutton for punishment." Jinx chuckled. She didn't seem to notice him looking at her legs. "What were you up to?"

"I was taking my own little stroll," Yvv grinned a little, "And practicing my skill as an acrobat, though you saw the ending of that." He always seemed to do well with anything requiring athletic talent, up until the end of whatever it was he was doing. Then he usually fell on his rump or his face. It was something he was trying to get better at, with little luck so far.

Jinx nodded. "Well, from what I saw I'm sure you will get better at it." She chuckled a little. Like she was one to talk. "Want to finish out strolls together?" Sure, she might fall but having company was always nicer.

Yvv blinked in surprise for a moment, then nodded his head and grinned. "That sounds like a good idea," he agreed, looking around, "Was there a direction you were heading in?" He had been going no where in particuliar himself, simply meandering along in the woods, so he wasn't opposed to joining her if she had someplace she had been walking to.

"Oh, I wasn't really going anywhere. But going no where with company is better then go no where alone." Jinx chuckled. She didn't have many friends...or at least she didn't see them often, so it was always nice to have company.

"That is true," Yvv agreed with a laugh. He looked around before spying an area that seemed a little more free of underlying roots and vegitation, "How about going that way?"
It wasn't often that he actually lingered to converse with another Namir, actually, that was more reversed for some reason. He was usually happy to converse with others, but they seemed to have to leave for something else before too long.
"It's nice when people can just relax and stop to enjoy the veiw and smell the roses," he commented, "So many people these days just want to go from one thing to another before they can even blink."

Jinx nodded. "Yeah, I think you're right. If we hurry to much then it will be over and we'll have missed it." By 'it' she meant life.
Jinx looked over to where he pointed. "Okay, sure. Let's see what we can find. Or what kind find us as long as it's good." She chuckled to herself. A monster or some big animal wouldn't be that much fun to find.
Jinx got up and began to walk that way waiting for Yvv.

Bounding up to keep pace with Jinx, Yvv breathed the air in deeply, thinking that nice calm days like these are better enjoyed with company. "So, do you take walks like this often?" he asked.
It would be nice maybe if they could share a walk again, since they both seemed to have the same veiws on life and on how it can be enjoyed simply. He didn't let his hopes get too high, though, as people normally tended to leave him alone after a while. But she hadn't left yet.
In fact, she had even suggested that they joined each other in their current walk. He turned to look up at her as he waited for her answer, one ear perked and one dropped to the side in what he didn't know was a 'puppy dog' kind of look.

"Yes, I really do. I like to walk and try to keep from falling. It's always good practice for me. I remember there was one day where I went a whole walk without falling. I did stumble and trip, but I stayed up. For me that's a good day." Jinx laughed at the thought of not falling being a good day. She was sure there were many others with worse problems then that. However, for her it was a pain sometimes.
"What do you think we will find?" Jinx asked him after a bit of walking. She was doing pretty good. She would hate to fall on her new friend so maybe she was trying harder.

"I don't know," Yvv replied, straightening his ears at the distracting question, "Maybe something interesting, maybe nothing at all." He began to wonder if there was something he wanted to find. Other than someone to walk with, as that want had already been taken care of it seemed.
After failing to come up with anything else he would want to encounter, he ventured, "Is there something you want to find?"

Jinx thought about it for a moment. She really didn't know. She just liked walking and never staying anywhere. It was like she was a gypsy in that way. Never staying anywhere. At first it was to keep from making friends from fear of hurting them, but now she just liked it.
"I guess anything that is pretty would be nice. Walking with you is nice enough." Jinx added. She did like that and she wasn't afraid of hurting him for once.

"It is?" he asked, a little shock in spite of himself, "Oh, I mean, walking with you is nice, too, but it-" He paused, realizing he was beginning to ramble like an idiot. "It really is nice walking with me?" he asked, a little more timidly than he would have liked, but without sounding as surprised and slackjawed as he had before.
He smiled outwardly, but inwardly he was still berating himself for sounding so stupid. This wasn't the first time someone had said his company was nice, was it? It was ridiculous for him to fall head over heels for someone after meeting them for the first time.
Just because she was an anthro didn't make her really any more different than any other girl, right? His little desire to have two legs of his own was influencing his emotions, he knew it, but looking up at Jinx again he forgot what his argument to himself was and decided that whatever it was that was making him giddy at her company he wanted to enjoy it while it lasted.

Jinx smiled and laughed a little. "Of course you are. I don't have many friends and well I don't like to hang around others in cause of my jinx-y ness but I feel okay with you." the anthro nodded. She was happy to be this relaxed with someone before. It was really nice.
