Yes ma'am, I would like to join the 4th Squad and here is my RP sample for you:

Jin was born into a family of doctors and healers. Looking back at his family’s history every male and female in his family line were involved in healing at some point in their lives. Jin was going to be no different. His life was mapped out for him even before he was born. The problem in all this is that he and his family didn't expect him to die at an early age.

Jin was a book worm at school and everyone knew it and that was his problem. He spent just about every given moment of his young life with his head in a book. This drove alot of the kids in his school crazy because everything seemed easy for him.

Jin had been approached by a couple of kids from school who were known for trouble. They wanted him to do their work for them and normally he would have been to scared to say no but, this time was different. Jin looked at the group of boys and said, "I'm not your slave anymore. Go do your own work." The largest boy of the group named Kip-Young stopped Jin and said, "Must we go through with this everyday ... You'll do what we want now or you'll pay with a beating!" Jin looked around and he was surrounded and out numbered. Knowing he was going to receive another of many beatings he took a step back and kicked Kip-Young between the legs and took off running.

Being that Jin was a book-worm it didn't take long for the others in the group to catch him and the beating began. Jin tried to fight back but it was no use. he was kicked and punched in so many different places that he couldn't protect himself. One kick connected with Jin's head knocking him out cold. By the time Kip-Young recovered and got to the group it was too late. Jin had been knocked out. The boys ran off and left him laying in the street. Jin was found and never recovered from his injuries .....

Jin opened his eyes and was laying on a straw woven bed in what looked like a hospital. Unable to move his body he tried to talk but no words came out. There was a young lady sitting next to him. She looks at him and says, "It's ok, don't try and move. You are safe now." The young lady turns and tells the instructor that Jin will be ok soon. As she get's up she turns to Jin and says, "I hope to see you soon. Welcome to the Sereitei".

Personality:

Etsuko= 悦 (etsu) "joy" and 子 (ko) "child".
Daichi=大 (dai) "large, great" combined with 地 (chi) "earth, land" or 智 (chi) "wisdom, intellect".

From his own name it can be observed that Daichi is not the stable and mature
type of person but rather the playfull child.

Bio:

Etsuko Daichi, age 16, can see both sides of any argument, able to rise above the minutiae to see the big picture. Etsuko Daichi tends to slip into denial and can't see when things really are bad. Maintaining a positive attitude is the most important thing. Originally from Africa, Etsuko Daichi now lives in Gotei 13 for some "anwswers" and holds a job as a Shinigami.

As a child, Etsuko Daichi lived in a very stable environment where he was accepted by and accepted both the mother and father figure. However, Etsuko Daichi's parents didn't always get along themselves. As a result, Etsuko Daichi learned to resolve any internal conflict by accepting any point of view, going along with ideas and movements, never causing any turmoil. Etsuko Daichi's obvious flaw is that he subverts his own feelings and ideas to go along with the group or authority figure in his life. This situation presents a great opportunity for a moment where Etsuko Daichi stands up for himself.

Daichi rushes in, in to the surgery room.Noticing that everybody was busy he couldn't help it.He starts pushing himself throw all the doctors to get to the pacient.
-Let me have him.Shouts out Daichi,I can do this
Noticing him the doctors called for security to come pick him out of the surgery room.Once the guard arrives they start kicking daichi out of the room
-You're gonna get now.said one of the guard,to the captain's office with you scum
-Oh sheesh.He walks in front of the captain's office thinking of and excuse.

Adrian pursed his lips into a frown as he gazed lazily outside of the window of his academy class room. His deep brown eyes fell onto his zanpacto as he listened to the teacher drone on and on about the lesson. He knew how to fight already, or at least he did back in his former life. Lately, things had started to blur and fade away concerning memories from his past life. The only thing that remained were his tendencies and at the moment he was showing one of them as the scowl on his face contorted into an eerie formation.

He raised his hand swiftly, signaling the teacher with a sneer. "Who is this no name, no rank loser that they chose to throw us? Why can't a captain teach us?", he thought as the teacher looked up and took his question. "Sir...", he said in an even tone, "Not to ruin your....lesson but what are those of us who know how to fight supposed to do?" He lowered his hand, chewing on his finger in a slightly coy manner as he awaited his teacher's reply.

His teacher's only words were, "If you can fight, show me." They grabbed for a pair of shinai, drawing up their sleeves as they readied themselves. Adrian pointed a finger in protest as he grabbed the red ribbon from around his neck and bit onto it as he pulled back his hair. He tied it back and picked up the shinai with a slight grin as his teacher began the match. Adrian dashed over to him but his teacher was much quicker. With a well place shunpo he was right beside Adrian. He had no time to react as his instructor came down with a slash to the left of his collar bone. He winced as he jumped back, switching hands as he took on a more native stance. Sword in hand he dashed for his teacher, taking up his fencing style as he strike. The tip of the shinai thrust with enough speed for him to counteract his teacher's assault.

He had him on the ropes, strike after strike until his teacher was done playing with him. With a sharp glare Adrian wavered in his strike, leaving just enough time for him to strike. He disarmed Adrian and sent him flying with a few quick strikes. "Hmm, you do know how to fight but I suggest you get back in line with the others who proclaimed such. You still need training.", said his teachers as Adrian scowled. "I don't like this man.", he thought as he began to stare daggers into the back of the man's head.
