"Of course they'd miss you! You are their daughter, no matter how many other ones they have you will always be their daughter." He smiled at her wondering why she would be thinking this way. Heck, it made him wonder why a lot of soquili thought this way. His only daughter, 'Nilla felt that if Bliss were to ever have another mare in his life then he'd forget about her since it was just the two of them for a few years. But a mare came, gave him sons and then left....and 'Nilla was still there. Didn't that prove to her that he'd always love her no matter how messed up the situation seemed to be?
If 'Nilla was gone, even for a day, Bliss knew it. He might not seem like the type of father who would care but Bliss knew it. She wasn't there and he didn't know where she was. It never worried them though considering she'd always return....but Bliss always knew if she was gone. Afterall, it was just the two of them for so long....
"And yes of course you do! You are beautiful, smart, you're independent...that's always attractive....in a lot of stallions, myself I don't really have a 'type'." He grinned, trying to make himself sound less like the blabbering fool he probably appeared to be. "Good you should like it! You are a lady, every mare is a lady."
The dark stallion watched as Lyssa frowned, almost hurt that such an emotion could appear on such a pretty face. He secretly vowed that as long as he'd know her, she'd never frown again. A mare like her, especially HER deserved to smile for the rest of her life. Right? Just how....how would he make that happen.....
"I've explored in caves before but that's about it. I don't go very far in them though it's always too dark. Maybe you'd like to venture further into a cave with me?"

Lyssa was amazed at Bliss. He seemed so carefree, even though he had to know something of life's hurts. He spoke confidently about how her parents must feel about her. He was so gentle, yet so sure. And he wanted to be her friend. She, who was barely worth mentioning, he saw the good in her, saw the beauty. He said she was beautiful, he called her attractive.
Her heart fluttered in a way that was joyous and strange. Yes...she would keep this friend of hers. As long as she could. She would not have him be alone in this world, as he seemed to be, despite him having children that could keep him company.
"A cave? I've never been in a cave before. It might be scary...but I don't think I'll be afraid if I'm with you. I would like to come with you, I think. I'll follow you...whatever happens, I'll follow you."
And so they did venture into the cave, and much exploring occurred. It was a marvelous time, but led to unexpected consequences, indeed.
