Description:
Silence was never exactly an imposing figure. Thin and only average in height, he never really stood out. He carries himself quietly, often times looking out into the distance or with his head lowered. He wears his hair long, often pulled back into a loose ponytail away from his face, which was a common look for gentlemen back in England. However, that was the only trend he followed. He's almost never seen out of the brown friar's robe that he acquired from the Abbey where he grew up within. On occasion he wears a simple pair of brown breaches, a gray shirt, and a pair of worn down leather boots.

It was the monk Hector Davison that had found the screaming infant on his way back to the abbey. Left in a crate by a noble woman who hadn't the stomach to raise a b*****d child, it was an act of God that the boy had even survived the cold mid-autumn night for the hours he endured. He was named after the road upon which he was found on, Silence.

Despite the odds, the sickly baby recovered once a wet nurse was found to care for him. Once he was old enough, he was raised apart from the nurse within the Abbey. He served the order first by tending to the monastery's flocks of cattle and sheep, which earned him his last name.

He eventually became a friar within the church, which opened up the opportunity for him to travel with a select few friars and monks to Scotland to better establish the faith. Silence was all too eager to join. Along with Father Davison, who became his adopted father-figure, Silence joined the voyage to Scotland.

Silence arrived in Scotland when he was 21 years old where he lived for two years in the Iona Abbey. After Father Davison passed away, Silence was asked to travel from Iona to help spread the faith outside of the abby as a missionary.
