Yes, sadly there is no captain for the fourth squad at the moment. There's only me who is running it until there is a captain. :]

Then I nominate you to be captain! xD ((Lol, wut?)) Even though you probably don't have bankai, you have experience as a vice captain. So that would even it out. Plus, you've been in 4th squad since Sereitei was made. Well, I think.

It's fine. Like I said, last resort. I was actually expecting a brutal verbal beating for even mentioning something like that, so your reaction was actually a lot less than what I was dreading. So it's all good.

Kenpachi didnt outright kill a captain. Thats called murder. Bankai is not a requirement for nomination for captain in the show. You need to have 2 captain agree with you and you have to fight 1. Kenpachi just happened to kill the one he fought. The reason why most captains have bankai is beacuse with each generation new aspiring young shinigami train very hard to get to the top. Over time they will grow stronger and attain bankai. So only those with bankai even stood a chance at getting a captain position. Until Kenpachi. YAY AMAGAI!

I say... That each squad whom somewhat have a 'wealthy' number of squad members do like some sort of draw or something of that nature in their squad to send off a member or so to squad 4, the benifits will be perhaps a straight away squad 4 tournement for seatings, so in black and white the benefit would be a possible higher seat? Or something like that? Just an idea but going to squad 4 wil be entirely by choice again, not something that can be forced upon others.

Pass the captain's exam, which ostensibly includes the ability to use bankai. 2. Be recommended by at least three captains with the recommendation seconded by at least five others (might have this the wrong way around) 3. Defeat a captain with at least 200 members of the captain's division as witnesses. Kenpachi is the only captain ever to have ascended via Method 3, and while he does not have shikai or bankai, he was able to block a blow from Komamura's bankai while still only having one hand on his zanpakuto. Even though it's all brute force, Kenpachi is very strong.

Woah woah woaaaaahhhh!!! Wait just one minute. You people shouldn't just go on blabbering about geting rid of fourth squad and using NPC its funny and thats what gives us emothion and completely changes looks and voting for seats? Come on man that would be more like a popularity contest. I say we just wait and let this work itself out. Some people are going to school and studying for exams. Just wait and be patient

If possible, I throw my name in the hat. Squad 4 has always been a personal favorite of mine, and I almost joined, [If not for how bad a** Yuki-sama is. ]
If I have my captain's good graces, and that of the current fourth Squad VC [Yay envy-sama] I'll try out for the position. I normally wouldn't do this sort of thing, but it seems there will be a lot of position changing in the near future anyways.
Generic healers is the worst possible thing that could happen. o.O

Amie-taicho would make a great Captain for Squad Four; and since healing an peace-keeping somewhat go hand-in-hand, it would be a great thing indeed! What's more, Kamashiro-taicho is Amie-fuku taicho's lover. If she were to become Squad Four Captain, then the relations between our two squads would become closer than ever, meaning that I'd get to update Xeion's list of Chiyudo since I'd have more clearance to learn more healing Kidou!
