lorddragon123 i think you still need to work on your grammer ryan because you spelt bast best and i'm not going to do that because in my guild i don't expect people to be really detailed. so please stop talking about it plus your quiting gaia online soon anyway why do you care. Haha, well this is very redundant, I don't think you should even bother correcting his grammar when you didn't even capitalize your "I's" >.<
and though I do agree no guidl has to be literate but it will never reach its full potential if it is not literate that is all he and I mean.
Oh, and he's a former Outcasts, but he has no way of finding us...

I'm so lame for bringing the topic up, but!menotyou64 I know it can be hard to add more details, but doing so adds to the environment of the RP, and I know that it can take a while to think of the right words or phrases (I usually rewrite a post 2-4 times before I submit it), but it is worth it. Like I said before, It's not like I'm telling you all to start writing an essay, or to detail every piece of grass, just to add some simple things. It may be difficult, but given time, writing more details will come second nature. I didn't start off with the bast grammar or sentence structure, and don't expect everyone else to become the next J.K. Rowling (author: Harry Potter) over night. I don't think having multiple characters to one player is necessary. I've been in RP's that have only 3 people and 6 characters, it gets boring and old. The whole point to do a RP online is to get more personality behind the characters, otherwise you might as well be writing a book. Sorry guys I didn't expect my response to be so long. Long response is long, yes, but you've noted certain important features that only a role-play can bring about. One of which being a character's personality. I see that most people just simply write one-liners, which consists of only what the characters say and do (sometimes it's only the "say" part, too! not even a "he/she said"). No thoughts or feelings involved? In this case, that would make most of the characters played here robots.
Sure, I know people have emotionless characters, but they make up for the lack of emotions by adding more detail to their characters' actions. And even emotionless characters have thoughts, do they not? Every second, we think. So what if your character is secretive and keeps his/her thoughts to him/herself? No one in the role-play can read your character's thoughts. Only the person in control of the character can, and unless his/her character has ESP, they cannot take advantage of being able to read your thoughts.
C'mon people, step it up. Or else the guild can't improve.
lorddragon123 ryan's talking about going really into detail on posts and spelling everything out correctly. Which is something we need to work on, for apparent reasons.

That's not the case, simply because the horse is going to drink in the end, anyway. There are those people who simply cannot use proper grammar, both on the internet and in real life in most cases. Those are pretty much hopeless cases, but horses have to drink to survive. Being illiterate won't kill you, but you certainly would be looked down upon. As such, if the guild consists of illiterate people, it won't attract much attention except from even more illiterate people. The problem only gets worse that way. Literate people only wish to be with literate people, except for those who wish to stick around as an attempt to help the illiterate. Those numbers are scarce, in reality.
