Hchan I don't know of any gay/bi people at my school 'cept for me and on of my friends... No one but my friends know about me because I'm just not the kind of person to go, "Look at me I'm a lesbian!" I mean if I had a girlfriend I wouldn't not hold hands or kiss in the hallway... In my science class we had a disscussion about what makes people gay and everyone seemed open minded except this one girl who said, "If I had a son and he was gay I would disown him," but other than that I've just heard rumors, but I don't think everyone is really that bad about it... *Lives in New Jersey* *nods* thats the way I am, I'm really protective about it. ya I dont know if I would or not, depends is she was comfortable with it to. wow, we dont have stuff like that in my science class; acctully dont have it anywhere. That's the thing, we're really too scared to talk about it, or other issues come before it. Like at my school we have a group of kids (I'm in it) where are our goal is to make our student body open to new things, and when we have our meeting: its always about everything else but that issue. really? I live in Ct, going down to New Jersey though the last weekend of april for a band/chorus trip ^^

*shuddres at the mention of school* stare I currently attend what I refer to as "the Nazi school" becase the administration is made up of catholic Nazis. It is a cathlic school, but they don't have to be such uptight holy rollers. My friends are cool though, and they all know. I would fear for my life though if our campus minister found out. I'd get the "satan talk" if the yknew, because if you do anything not ok with the strictest catholic orthodox guidelines, ten you're a satanist that needs to be burned at the stake xp . *hate for the school*

Kage Tsuki Wow, I feel lucky. No one at my school cared when my friend came out of the closet. Told people she was bi, now they just ask if she's seen any cute girls, and that type of thing.
The reason I don't tell is just that I'm secretive by nature. (and they would turn their attention from the class 'couple' to me and my crush.)
When I get a girl friend I'll hold hands, and be all lovey-dovey with her, just becuase thats the type of person I am. A romantic. dang you ARE lucky lol where do you got to school, I'll transfer lol ya I can understand, I'm not like that too with certain things. heh ya thats always a good thing, not heh

eh right now im in middle school, next year is HS. im debating weather to be more open or not in HS. i really dont know but if i do be more open than im for certain to be doomed. see my mom and her bf hate gays. if i told them i was even bi hed probably attack me and shed disown and throw me out most likely. she even told me she would. thats why i might run away out of state to my friends when im of the age to legally move out. maybe even earlier if things get worse

I am VERY open in the walls of my school, my parents have no clue. Im sure you will find the HS to be far more accepting to homosexuality than the middle school.

Sadly my school is kinda small ( only 1000 student) and the administrators *cough, cough* Communist **cough, cough* are not too thrilled on the subject. If they hear Gay/Bi/Not Streight in the same sentence as a name....they pull you out of class, bring your parents in and have a LONG talk about what gay/bi means . After that...being gay doesnt seem very important....::sigh:: redface

No ine a my school has come out mainly because of the way others respond to it. Usually, they talk it out but it's a violent talk so no one ever comes out until high school. I here they are tons of them there. Really, sad.

My school has almost nothing but White, christian, republicans.
I'm one of three people in my school who isn't republican and the only non christian.

my highschool: seemed open minded, though I didn't find out I was bi until a few weeks after I turned 19. So, I had no problems with it in highschool.
my college: well, it's college, a.k.a. the time for experimentation, so yeah, they're pretty open minded.
