Jericho wandered over and took the seat near Elena as he'd been bid and smiled. "Ah, coffee's fine." he answered, before turning to the small one.
"Too much sugar before bedtime makes for odd dreams." He warned with a friendly smile, "or getting really tired and being unable to sleep, depends on who you are really."

"Chocolate puts her to sleep, no worries," Tyler amended as she went for the kitchen. Elena looked up at the man on the couch with her and tilted her head.
"How do you know Mommy?"

"Interesting. I don't know many people who have that happen. But then, I don't know many people who drink cocoa much at all anyway." he responded to Tyler before answering the child's question.
"I met her in a cafe once, I believe." he explained.

Elena nodded and sat back, crossing her legs as best she could and splaying her wings out.
"Are you a human?"

Jericho nodded a bit, "Yes, I'm human." the jock replied, "Are you? You've got very nice wings, by the way."

Elena shrugged. All in all, she wasn't sure what she was. She was a Goddess from an old world, sure...but past that? Mommy hadn't told her much.
"I'mma God of wingy things."
She paused a moment, and then:
"Mommy's a robot, yenno."

"Oh, that would explain them then. I'd assume the goddess of wingy things would have fabulous ones of her own." he stated with a tone of agreement. Seemed logical enough to him, and this was gaia so her being a deity of some sort made perfect sense.
"All right. Nothing wrong with that," the man responded with a shrug, "well, that I know of anyway. There might be some disadvantages to it that I don't know about but as far as I'm concerned there's absolutely nothing wrong with her being a robot."

"I'm not a robot," Tyler laughed as she came back in, "I'm an android. Parts of me are metal. Most of me isn't." She set the cups down and Elena didn't apologize. Far too busy sipping her cocoa!

Jericho laughed a bit himself, picking up his own cup. "Definitely not the same thing," he agreed, taking a sip of the drink.
"So, are the other kids you mentioned also gods and goddesses, or just Elena?" the brunette asked, curious a bit about her kids now.

Jericho blinked a bit. "Must be a very intriguing little bunch given all the different types. Are all of their appearances in relation to their power or just this kiddo's?" He teased, grinning over at Elena as he spoke.

The man nodded, "Poor kid must be a somewhat startling presence." he commented as he took a sip of his drink. "Must make it awkward to make friends. Unless he's not the social type, then I guess that's okay."

"Oddly enough, he makes friends where ever we go. He's a real sweetheart, oddly enough," Tyler shrugged. A little snort startled her. Aha! Elena was asleep!
"I'd better get her to bed. You're free to stay, if you'd like."

Jericho smiled a bit, "Nah, I'll head out if you're heading off to bed. No need to keep you up when you've got little ones to deal with tomorrow." he said quietly, voice soft so as not to wake the child.
