Veil hesitated for a moment, and after glancing around the bathroom decided to just be quick. Checking the door and when she was assured of its closure, she began to set to work. Pulling carefully on a bandage, Veil inhaled sharply at the pain it caused. Blood started to gush a bit down her neck, she quickly and deftly wrapped the supplied bandage around the wound. Better to bleed on the outfit that was already dirtied she weighed in her mind. Eyeing her work in the mirror, she set to untying the laces of her dress. Maneuvering her wings would take some work, but she didn’t want to take too long and have him be suspicious. Her neck still throbbed a beat into her, a beat of pain…but she ignored it. It would pass she knew, but now timing was everything.

Briefly toweling off her hair, she untied a small ribbon that was gathered under her long crimson locks. Even more hair fell onto her back and shoulders in flowing piles, so beautiful they almost looked fake. Throwing on the sweater, it was light but still warm and soft, and compared to the cold she welcomed its touch. Arranging her wings under the clothing, and making sure it was also behind her hair…Veil then looked in the mirror. Nothing really seemed to be amiss. ‘And that’s just how it should be’, she thought.

The pants were a different story, her form being so short. The bottoms had to be rolled up several times before her little feet poked out. Using the long ribbon from her hair, she tied it around the waist as a makeshift belt. Although honestly the sweater was long enough to be a dress for her, she still wanted to make use of the clothing that was so graciously provided. Little things made her nervous. She’d even made sure to toss her petticoat over the top of the dress, to hide the slits in the back of it for her wings. It was a winter dress after all, so it covered as much skin as possible. Hopefully, he wouldn’t notice.

One more check in the mirror and she opened the bathroom door and spotted Dr.Hart sitting on the bed. After a few seconds, she felt her face flush a bit and noticed she was breathing a bit faster from her effort to be a speedy as possible. So, Veil decided to try to cover it up. Turning in a circle she tilted her head, as she showed off her current outfit. “Well, how do I look?” An answer she wasn’t really looking for, just a question to keep him from hopefully seeing her folly. Veil should have waited to catch her breath. Eyeing the clothes on the floor, and the discarded bandage, she turned to him then. “I’ll clean that up myself okay?”

Adriel picked lightly at the bandages of his arms, his purple eyes slowly turning back to a light grey, almost white as he listen to the little sounds coming from the bathroom. He would wait until he was done taking care of their guest before per-occupying himself with his own.

His eyes lift up to see her when he heard the small voice, he gave an ever so small smile at her question. Adele's clothes were by far too big, but they would do. "As best as it can be done for now." He answer with softness in his voice but there was still a chill behind it. "Lets work on your injury.." He picked up the first aid kit and usher her back to the bathroom, ignoring the clothes on the floor. He could careless really.

Tilting her head, his fingers were just feather touches, moving gently around the wound as he took stock of it. Opening the kit, he took out some things and began to clean her wound as gently as possible. His eyes making no contact with hers, by far, he was too used to working with wild pokemon and this show in his technique, gentle and soothing, but with indifference of a different kind from those of a human doctor.

Done cleaning it, he looked closely at the wound, in the back of his mind, something urge him but he removed those thoughts as he began to apply a fresh dressing of bandages around her neck until it was done. Removing his hands from her persona, he went to the sink and cleaning the blood off his fingers. "Its healing, the bleeding will stop by tomorrow, I reckon." He murmured. "Why don't I take your clothes and have them wash? It won't do to have them stiff and uncomfortable for when you leave."

Veil blinked her crystal eyes with uncertainty. Mind rushing back to a working state, she shifted suddenly to stand from her seat on the bed where she’d been obediently stationed. Alarm shot through her system as she watched the tall man leaning over the sink, a hand slowly raising to touch the cut there, her wary eyes not moving. How…had she let her guard down so far as to zone out her brainwaves? He had a natural ability to prepare wounds so that the body could repair them, but something else he possessed…Veil could not read.

The slight healing sting of the applied medicine danced through the nerves in her neck, and she closed one eye as she inhaled at the pain. The gash had been deep, and for the sole purpose of causing pain and blood-loss. Both these goals had been met by her attacker. Dr. Harts soothing work had eased the pain, but it wouldn’t subside, the young girl knew. She needed to feed. Badly. Letting out her breath slowly in a gauged way, she felt slightly renewed at the fact her neck was no longer gushing. Small comforts like a clean bandage, and a warm place were more than she could ask for. Licking her lips, her stomach churned at her in dread and hunger. This was something she could not do. Not to these kind people. At the same time the tattoo beat against her fingertips still resting on her neck, her blood pulse through the cotton against her hand. What was left of the blood in her anyways.

Clearing her throat lightly, so as to come back to reality at the risk of losing her mind into further thought, she spoke a reply to him. “Ah…you don’t have to do that…” Yet still Veil knew she was in no way able to perform the labor herself to wash her garments of the dried blood and such. “I’ll take care of it, like I said.” Words spoken were strained, but whether from her fatigue or her timid thoughts of her needing to feed, she wasn’t too sure which

"....As you wish." Adriel finish drying his hands. "Let show you to a guest room and then I'll take you to where the others are." While he seemed to have his attention on the present, his eyes said otherwise as his mind reeled.

While finishing up with the wound, he swore he had seen something in the woman's hair, while he knew it could just been her hair moving, it did made him wonder. He rarely notice anything not worth noticing. The other thing that bother him was the wound itself, while yes, now that he had treated it correctly it would stop bleeding and heal correctly, he wasn't as stupid as not see that this would was inflicted with malice behind it. He wonder these things, but try to keep his attention on the girl in front of him until he began to walk out of the room, expecting her to follow.

The warmth of the home, and the clean clothes and bandages made her even more relaxed and aware of how much her body was suffering. Veil felt the scream of her heart trying to pump the remaining amount of blood through her form to keep her alive, but it was laboring awfully. Her thirst to feed was so overwhelming, as if Veil were a diver holding her breath under water and waiting for air. Running her tongue over her fangs, she clenched her teeth shut tightly.

No. She couldn’t feed off Dr. Hart. He’d been so kind to her, and if she even tried to do so, his own wounds would be unable to heal. It would be unforgivable. Seeing no way to heal herself of this dangerous lack in blood, fear set in. Veil knew that if she kept up with all her respectful habits and such, she really might just not awake in the morning. Shaking her head and gripping her folded hands to her chest, she took a deep breath to calm herself. At least she would be safe here.

Veil began to follow in a rather obedient manner even as her eyes seemed to lose more and more of their sparkle with each blink. Every step took more out of her than she could comprehend, and taxing as it was she forced herself to follow. Perhaps she might be able to talk her way out of meeting the other, so there would be less trauma on this kindly group as a whole if she did pass on. Following the tall man, she could hear his heart pumping through him, and it possessed such a power…

Only when she was in desperate need of energy could Veil hear and feel such things, and it was a talent she’d only used a handful of times. She noticed her footfalls slowing, so she picked up the pace to keep after him. It was time to say it. It was now or never.

“Thankyou…Dr.Hart.” The words were complete and sincere coming from her mouth. Trying to keep her lips from forming the words too much and showing off her fangs, Veil hoped her voice didn’t sound stiff. “I owe you.” It felt odd to say those words, knowing full well she might not be able to make that payment.

Adriel guide her to the guest room, opening the door. A single queen bed in green covers, the wallpapers a cream color. The furniture was done in the dark woods. For the most part, it look like an old vintage hotel bedroom, but still had some home feeling to it.

His eyes looked down at Veil. "Perhaps you should rest for a while. I'll bring you something to eat soon. Is there anything you would perfer, soup, pizza..blood?" He gave a soft chuckled. Putting his fingers under her chin to make her look at him. "What is your blood type? I think you lost a bit too much blood....hmmm, I wish I had taken a human course." He muttered mostly to himself as he let her chin go.

Her breath caught as those words passed through the air, and Veil’s senses were focused on the feeling of his hand on her chin. “I have no blood type.” Sustaining her for just a moment, she blinked rapidly as Dr. Hart pulled away, and his life force seemed to move out of reach. If she’d been all alone in the snow, the young girl had no idea how her body could be reacting right now. The promise of feeding was the only thing that kept her going.

“H-how…” Veil drew in a sharp breath as she felt the wound hurting her neck a bit more at the thought of all her lost blood… “did you know…that it’d been a while since I fed..” Veil’s life was still in his hands, and she wasn’t about to make any problems for him. Sitting down on the bed, she smoothly reached up to touch her forehead. It was colder than normal.

Adriel gave a soft laughter as he leaned against the door frame. "I didn't know you 'fed'." He said calmly. "But I know when someone needs a blood transfusion, it just takes me longer to know in humans, since I normally treat Pokemon." His eyes diverted elsewhere. "but if you do feed as you said, then I can get some blood packs. The blood part on what i asked you to eat was a joke, I didn't expect a reaction beyond laughter really." He smiled. "Its funny how the mind works."

Veil’s face blushed furiously at his comments, realizing she’d just completely walked into telling him about herself. Now he knew. Either way it was even more of a sign to herself of how worn her body was. Peeking at him through her slender fingers, she lowered her hand to steady herself from falling forwards off the bed. Why was the ground moving? How dare it.

“It’s not the blood I need, I can’t just work off of already dead blood. Unfortunately.” She appreciated the offer greatly, and she felt as if she was discussing her order from a menu. “It has to be alive, and still in the body. That’s the only way I can separate what I need from it.” This was always seemingly the downfall for her. Finding those willing to offer their energy to her, was a hard task.

Once someone she knew fed off their own body. It wasn’t a pretty sight. From all the created follies she’d seen, Veil knew a lot about what she could take and what her body couldn’t. Her tongue ran over her fangs again, as if she was trying to hold them off from causing her further trouble. “I don’t want to force you to help.” She finally admitted, not wanting guilt to hang over her head. “You’ve done so much already.”

"It would mean nothing, whatever I did, if you die..." Adriel stayed against the doorway. "I need to go speak with the other two for a moment, but I'll come back soon and...we'll arrange what will happen. I am unsure if my blood is safe for you."

He left it there as he close the door. Walking down the hallway, he was left with his thoughts, murmuring to himself as he stared at nothing in particular. His eyes close, but reopen one his foot hit air, knowing he was at the stairs. Climbing down the stairs, he looked in the room the other two were. Giving little of what he learned to them as he took something to eat and told Adele to go with Daniel to pick up Faraon and Songwriter. He saw he wasn't going anywhere tonight and didn't see why his pokemon should suffer the weather. Besides he sensed a storm coming all day.

Once he saw them off, he turned back towards the bedroom where he had left the girl. He knocked. "Veil..."

Veil’s eyes lifted heavily as her mind woke from a deep sleep that her body was already drifting into. It was something that she had not expected to happen to her as suddenly as it did. The girl found herself laying back, hands folded on her stomach, legs still hanging down from when she had seated herself on the bed. Her crystal eyes glimmered weakly as she carefully lifted her head a bit, and glanced around the room. Unknowing of where she was, the surroundings became familiar as she took them in almost anew. Reasonably quick, her mind settled into the fact that she was safe for now, and she knew this place. Head falling back she exhaled, knowing she wouldn’t have been able to keep it up anyways. Her body was slowing down.

“Yes?” It was almost pointless idle chitchat to her, but she took in every second of it. Normal things were rather hard for her to come by. “Come in.” She added, knowing the invitation wasn’t necessary. Besides, she could hardly honor him with her being able to properly sit up. Trying to force herself up with her hands, her stomach muscles seemed almost nonexistent in her efforts.

The white hair man peeked in and gave her a gentle and small smile. Coming into the room, he close the door behind him and walked over to her. "I know you will probably say no, but I am going to allow you to feed from me. Its not like we have the option to go out there and grab someone at random." At least not a night like this...His mind supplied to him in manner that he wished he could glare at his other self.

His hands worked around the bandages around his forearm, unwrapping them slowly. The think scent of his blood coming forward as each layer was removed until he left a bare forearm were a stitched gush lay. The stitches had broken and some blood was readily dripping from it.

Her body was naturally pulled to the blood, especially in the state she was in. Finding the strength to sit up in a smooth manner, she ran her fingers over the rivulets of blood trailing down his arm. Immediately they went cold to her touch as all the life and heat was sucked from them. Looking up, her eyes becoming almost cat-like in appearance she blinked at him, fingertips still resting on his arm.

“Your body will be worse for the wear afterwards.” Veil explained, her fangs gleaming in the dark. “You might actually…” Her voice trailed off, but her gaze stayed on his face, checking for uncertainty and hesitation. A weak shiver rocked her almost like a tremor, but she kept watching his face. Injuring another for her sake, wasn’t something she was ready for…unless he was.

Adriel gave just a soft chuckle. "I could die, yes. I think I know the rules very well when it comes to giving another, one's blood." He gave a soft smile. "Don't worry, I have survive worse things, I assure you. Now feed." He commanded ever so softly spoken.

His eyes trailed towards his own arm and looked at the crimson color of his blood. He inwardly sighed at some memories from long ago.

Veil needed no second bidding, her slender fingers slipping under his hand and guiding his arm to become more elevated for this process. Dr. Hart was doing the work for her though, her arms were too weak to support that weight on their own. Slipping her lips close to the skin on his wrist, it seemed like she was looking for a bleeding point that should have been obvious. Pupils narrowing to cat like slits, she breath seemed to hover on one point alone, and then it was as if her indecision was gone. Then in the next instant, her lips parted and her canine fangs sliced the skin. Not one drop of blood pooled from the fine cut, not until almost ten seconds later, as she seemed to be intently watching the wound inflicted. Like a cat about to pounce on prey.

In the next few moments, from her position of holding the wrist before her face, with her trained eyes she saw blood begin to bead on his flesh. In the back of her mind, she knew he was no stranger to this sort of ‘occasion’. Then, as the blood slipped out and time went on, she never moved closer to feed as one would have thought. Veil slipped her eyes shut and tilted her head down ever so slightly, long rivulets of hair falling into her face. Her thin hand was shaking as she was concentrating so deeply and finally, she began to feed.

Small orbs of green lifted from the fresh wound, making it slightly larger as they pulled out and into the air. Gathering before Veil, it seemed they faded into the air around her, as if she was absorbing it. The blood went black as it emerged from the slice on Dr. Hart’s wrist and the orbs lifted from it. The flow of blood seemed to be controlled as well. Too controlled. In her formality, Veil was forcing the blood to be slow in leaving his form, however on that same note, she was sucking the life completely out of the liquid. Not able to oxidize anymore, the blood was useless. Dead.

Knowing that Dr. Hart was familiar with Pokemon, Veil knew he could identify what she was doing now. It wasn’t the blood she needed, it was the life that it contained. The energy. She was using Leech Life. More and more blood came out now, and her hand was trembling furiously trying her best to control it, but she was losing. It was almost that she forgot to feed now, but rather was just trying to stop him for bleeding.
