Ski-neko meowed and blinked. Her face was much calmer than it had been and she raised a 'paw'. She purred again, her eyes closed. She palced both hands on the bed and looked up at him. With a quick 'mew', she leaped up and sat ont eh bed. With a cute-kitty-smirk, Ski-neko kissed him ont he cheek, knowing not to kiss him full on. "Ma...t...e...?"
No! Not mate! Bad neko! Bad! ...He is our mate. Youc annot stop what ahs already begun. How we became one is beyond me... Though, it is ironic, is it not? He is a lycan... We are of the feline clan... Anyway, Skiaska, you must give up this futile argument. No doubt, Esou sees us as his mate... ...I hate you so much... Your so silly. Nyo? Ski-neko purred some more.

She had picked up something odd on her pyschic sense, and had gone to investigate it. That was how she found herself outside of the infirmary, her mask on because she knew that Krii'OUse and Skiaska were in there, and that at least Krii'Ouse had that flu sickness. She was a little afraid to just barge in.
Krii'Ouse? She asked him through telepathy, her eyes going white. I'm picking up something weird in there, mentally anyway.

Ski-neko tensed, seeing the new person. Who is this... woman? That is Lydia. She is anotehr hunter. Don't worry, she is no competition. She is a good friend. Do not harm her... Fine, but only becasue you are also me... And vice versa... Ski-neko untensed and tried to sopeak, but only came otu with mews, purrs, and meows...

Reego "Hi Amber, I hope you get well soon, I am fine. I will stay here until you get better, or until I am desperately needed. Amber smiled as best she could and said, "Well that's good to know." She then looked over at Aiden and stared for a moment then quickly turned back to Dariel.

Lydia's hackles rose as Skiaska looked at her. She had heard it...she had actualy HEARD the entire conversation between Skiaska and...and whatever the hell was in her mind. The spark of protective jealousy, the odd way that being thought, it was completely unlike any mind she had ever seen. There was no way that could be human.
She took a step back, fear suddenly swamping her. It was something that she hadn't perceived that had trapped her in her own personal hell before, and she had not percieved anything like that. Her eyes were opened wide with fear, and her whole body was tense. No, she wouldn't be trapped again, she wouldn't be trapped again. She was in control of herself, not anyone else. She wouldn't be trapped again.

Ski-neko blinked catiously and cocked her head to the side. "Nyo?" What happened?! Oh, like I really know! Both personas calmed and just stayed put.

Krii'Ouse felt the conversation as well. *I heard it, too.*
'Are... you okay, babe?' he asked somewhat in worry, partially in fear. 'You... don't seem to be yourself.'
'Esou is worried, too Skiaska. Tell Esou what is wrong, please?' Esou said through Krii'Ouse. He saw Lydia get frightened. *What's wrong?* he asked mentally, noting the protective jealousy feelings from Skiaska. 'Something happened at the Chapterhouse. I will kill for this...' He clenched his fist angrily.

She didn't like being able to hear that alien voice in her head, but their conversation was too loud to ignore or push aside. Part of her knew that that alien voice had to be a part of Skiaska, but the rest of her didn't want to beleive it. It was unlike anything else she had ever encountered. It wasn't like a lycan's other half, and she knew Skiaska was not a lycan. She tried desperately to understand this situation but, like most things in this new world, it eluded her.
She took another step back, fearful that the calm posture Skiaska had taken was only meant to lull Lydia into a false sense of security. Her heart was pounding as adrealine rushed through her system. Her hands clenched unconciously as she fixed a wild-eyes stare onto what she saw to be a possible enemy.

Ski-neko sighed, both from Ski herself, and her other persona. Well, I guess this was inevitable... That it was, kitten. Don't. Hmph... Alright, I have some explaining to do...
This... other 'person' inside my mind... Is me. She is like a sub-persona of myself. You see, many altered humans have one. It is due to their... changes...
Sethe, you know when I would snap into rages, I would become feral and... cat-like? That was her. I have a beast trappe dinside me. As the years went by, it got worse and worse... Now... She is a part of me. And the thing is... She is much like a demon...
Thanks a lot, kitten... Anyway, what she means is, I am like a demon because of the entire mating thing. In demon terms, they become mates when love has been acknowleged, exchanged, and a bite is placed on both necks of the loves... Unfortunately, Skiaska refrains from doing this in fear... That is quite enough, cat. Now then... I guess in a way, she is my alter ego...
Ski-neko say Lydia and her eyes half-lidded. You have had long enough to be yourself... Ski-neko's eyes widened, then snapped shut as she curled into a ball. After a second, her eyes opened again, only more normal. "I'm sorry, Lydia... She does have a way of... doing that to people..." A soft, friendly smile was graced upon SKIASKA'S lips.

"I've never met an altered-human with an alter-ego before." Lydia said quickly, her words slurring into each other. "She didn't sound like any demon I've ever heard, she sounded not like anything I've heard, why did she call you kitten?" Her legs gave out and she sat on the floor with a loud thud. She started to shake, and had to use her arms to support herself to keep from falling over.

Lydia barely managed to shake her head. "Wh-what is a c-cat?" she asked through her shaking, her fear making it difficult to do anything else. She was beyond rationality at this point, though she already knew her fear was irrational. Skiaska had no psychic powers, and thus could not trap Lydia in her mind again. But that alien voice coupled with the fact that she was partly fearful from being trapped in her own mind...it had almost driven her over the edge.

Amber felt more blood coming up her burning throat and quickly turned over the side of the bed and spat blood on the floor. She then uttered a quiet "Whoops..." Amber was embarassed, but it couldn't be helped the blood just wouldn't stop coming.
