Smiling, she took to gently tending to his tail. "Aye that may be true, but don't we all have a fear of something, no matter how tough our exteriors may seem?" She made sure to tie the bandage tight but not so much where it would prove difficult to remove.
"Alright, that's done. Now to you." She averted her gaze to the pup and brought her hand to her chin in deep thought. "What should we call you...hmm. Perhaps Aedan...or maybe Alistar. You definitely look like a Alistar."
She returned her gaze to Nightwing. "What do you think?"

He tilted his head before a snarl came at the name. Shaking his head, he just turned away with a snort, before trotting off to the side and sniffing around. He sought out other scents, maybe other creatures would appear.
Yet, nothing caught his attention.
So, he turned back and looked at the two, before his eyes caught the even more alluring tail. Now it had some sort of colored thing on it. Smirking, as much as a beast could, he bowed his forepaws and moved to jump on the tail, his own wagging.

Nightwing smiled and looked at his tail curiously before chuckling at her. "Humans like everything to have a name..." He looked down at the beast and gave a wry grin.
"Well... maybe Thorntooth?" He glanced at his tail "Daiman? Pudgy?" He crouched and smiled softly. "Name him what you please..." He quickly jerked his tail away as he saw the beast lunge again and smirked. "Call him trouble..." He laughed and shook his head at the large animal.

"Now you come here, sit still and behave." She placed her finger on his nose and gave him a firm look. "No biting...Now back your name since you didn't seem to like the others. How's Daivant?"

A whine left his maw when the tail went out of sight, and he settled on his haunches with a small thump. Turning back to the human, he tilted his head as if to reinforce Nightwing's comment, before glaring at his own foolish attempts at strange words.
Yet, when the name Daivant came up, he turned and perked his ears, at full attention with excitement glowing in his white eyes.

Nightwing smiled at the glow in the pups eyes and lightly stroked the beasts head. "I think he likes Daivant then, he's large for a pup...just think of the beast he'll grow to be." He relaxed back enjoying his time and the company he had found.

"Indeed. He'll be a most worthy advisary. So...if you don't mind, I've some questions to ask you. Your kin really intrigue me. I mean aside from your wings and claws you look so much like us humans but even still you still seem so majestic."

Satisfied with the name, he settled back on his romp, looking back and forth before sliding his butt back so he flopped to his belly. A yawn than produced from his maw, his eyes blinking while he looked around from his low perch.
The sounds were so interesting, they soothed him enough he was just content to listen.
That is, until his attention would be diverted. But for now, he just looked at Cailin.

Nightwing relaxed and nodded "Of course anything you wish to ask I would be happy to share. You know your kind is most interesting as well, your homes and your abilities without any need of wings or the strength we possess."
He felt his face warm a bit at being called majestic, he had never felt it, but he supposed that some of their warriors certainly looked that way. Certainly there were plenty of females he would happily call majestic, beautiful, radiant as the moon...He smiled wryly and halted himself before his thoughts could turn in a lusty direction. He looked back to Cailin "Ask what you would?"

"Well...what is it like to fly? I mean the emotions...what do you feel?" Cailin could only imagine what it must be like, that high up. Must have been wonderful, no more like exhilarating. To be so free and not just trapped in one spot."
She scoot closer to Daivant, and gave him loving and gentle strokes atop his head while watching Nightwing with a great deal of interest.
(sorry it took so long for that little post. ideas are slipping)

Daivant let out a whine, though no more growls left his maw when he looked at the female. Instead, his ears fell back while she scooted closer, and he expected something different than the loving petting he received.
And so, he too moved closer, all but rolling into feet, instead just moving as close as he could to get more petting from the soft hand.

He smiled and leaned back a bit before gazing at the sky a long moment then looking back to her. "I've never really given it much thought, when I was a young gargoyle barely able to catch a current I'm sure I fussed over it. Now it's as natural as walking or breathing, but sometimes it feels like a release."
He looked back and her and tilted his head "Humans take out their excess energy in many ways, for my sometimes flight helps to clear my mind. Honestly though...we can't fly you know? If we were in a tunnel or even inside your home for example we probably would be as earth-bound as you."

"You can't fly....oh then you glide. Either way the fact that you have the ability to is just as good."
Smiling, she looked to Daviant and just gave him more love. It was hard to believe that she was growing rather attached to this creature much faster than she anticipated. Maybe she could take him home with her...no. Her father wouldn't allow that to happen. He didn't hate gargoyles per say, but it was clear he didn't like them either.
"What...what are your thoughts on us humans."

The beast let out a grunt, before suddenly perking and rolling up to his feet. Trotting off a moment, he looked into the bushes, smelling around, before following the scent of the human's path. His attention was gone, and so he just continued to wander around the clearing, smelling to see if anything was near by.
It was almost protective, his scanning of the area to ensure there was no one else. Or maybe, maybe he just wanted to meet another stranger.

Nightwing gave a slight smile and found her next question much simpler, his stance on humans had always been the same. "I'm so intrigued by all the you do, your naming, and homes, the way you care for your families and clan. I know there is good and bad in human and gargoyle alike, but it's nice to get to know the differences without holding it against your kind as a whole. I suppose to you, we are rather...frightening." He chuckled a bit at the thought of him being the frightening one.
He watched as the gar-beast moved on and tipped his head "I wonder where his home lays..."
