I really like your suggestions. I hadn't thought about that, but after the four of us leave, you and others can really begin building a second plot that, perhaps, is involved in ours. Or perhaps not at all! The Tower always had to deal with more than one problem at a time.

I agree. I like that it is sticking to how RJ did things. I can't help but suggest that we could do that or tie in Aria so she comes with us too. But then that leaves Branwen to her own devices with Sintair. I prefer Aria's idea, but I just think it's fair to add in that possibility as well.

I agree, but I cannot think of a way to add Aria to our group.

Agree about what? Aria's idea is better or with my idea? Like I said, I prefer Aria's. I can't think of a way to add her either.

Either works. I mean, she'll have free reign almost as far as the Tower itself is conserned, within reason of course. Without us driving the main plot in the Whte Tower itself, Aria can develope another story with ease. Then again, she'll also have less people to RP with...
I'm just really rambling...but I guess my point is either one would work.

I'm considering having the woman mentioned in the last post I had in the RP, the one that was "reminding" the Bladelord, a puppet for one of the female Forsaken. I'm thinking either Moghei-whatever, or Lanfear...any advice/comments/suggestions?

Lord Raven Orion I'm considering having the woman mentioned in the last post I had in the RP, the one that was "reminding" the Bladelord, a puppet for one of the female Forsaken. I'm thinking either Moghei-whatever, or Lanfear...any advice/comments/suggestions? I started a story arc using Moghedian (Lillen Moiral) but was able to drop it do to the amnesia. So this could be her reborn. She is a master of Tel'aran'rhiod and generally considers it her domain so that would explain alot in combining our to stories. So Yes I like it.

I hadn't meant to make her strickly Moghedian reborn. I was going to use the mist as sort of a connection. Basically, this Forsaken is using Compulsion to a great extent, even using this Lillen as a way to use her own abilities though she still has no physical form. I guess we could still have her reborn, but I figured that would be a little much so early in the story.

Lillen Moiral is Moghedians real name from the time of Legends. Though I like that she would be working through someone and it would tie in with the a'dam earlier. though no I am not Moghedian but possibly one of her attempts to come back.

from the story thread Apollo Tha Prophet Lord Raven Orion Apollo Tha Prophet Sintair quickly walked into the Keepers office and tied off the weave he was holding on the black sister. Stepping back out of the office he whispered to Branwen, "She is cut off, but if given too much of a chance she will try to break the weave, make sure she doesn't. I have something else to attend to that is urgent, I will be back in a minute."
After whispering that quick sentence Sintair took off at a quick jog in the direction that Rylean had gone. Still holding the power he quickly sent two weaves at the man, the first one a wave of air to knock him down and the second one a weave to cut the man off from the source. "Think you can channel in the White Tower and get away with it? You are clearly not a member of the Blue Haran Din, nor the Brown. In fact, judging by your appearance and the way you carry yourself you would only be a member of the Red Haran Din, and no member of that hand of brothers would dare enter the white tower. I suggest you follow me back to the keepers office."
Sintairs cuendillar blade had already been unsheathed and directed towards the strange man. There was something about the man that seemed wrong to him, and he didn't even need to look at Lilac to see that the white hair on her back was raised and her teeth bared. She trusted the man even less than he did, and she was almost always right when it came to passing judgement on people. "You heard me sir, go back to the Keepers study or throw yourself upon my blade." Rylean lauged. The man didn't realize just how strong the Shadows had mad him. "I am sorry...allow me to introduce myself first," Rylean kicked the man's sword away, rolling forward, drew his own, and was back up, this time with his sword to the Asha'man's neck. "I am Rylean of Arafel, servant of Lady Moiren. He smiled. He had caught the man off-guard, and the weave sheilding him had weakened. Rylean burst forth with all the Saidin he could, shattering the shield, and shielding Sintair. "Please, we need not stain this white tower red. Suddenly, a gateway appeared, and Rylean dove into it as it closed up. ((Um no... I'm calling you out for Godmodding on that... you could have broken the shield, but reversing a shield is taking your power waaaaaay too far. The standard rules of a fight in text battles give you a defense, which would be your kicking the sword away (even though my character was still halfway down the hallway... what did you run and try to kick it? Don't you think hed stab you through the chest if you did this or attack with the power before you could reach him), and an attack, breaking through the shield... Also the second you would have kicked the sword away the wolf would have been on your throat like she would on a wandering sheep. Also by jumping through a gateway you don't leave any room for response...)) It seems to me that Orion is protecting a NPC. However, I agree he should do it without belittling a player unless power levels have been predetermined. Orion in my opinion you have controlled the encounter without room for response so I agree with Apollo on this one. In the future I would suggest we post something official as to how we are to conduct a fight. I have no power to make a ruling here, but my opinion on the matter is down for the record. We have been breaking shields quite easily lately a feat which even the Forsaken and the Dragon Reborn had some difficulty doing as they had to pick apart weaves. Also, sheilding while pretty much a standard move should not be automatic to someone holding the power. Not the case here however. If desired I shall write up rules for engagement although for now I suggest we battle with honor and consideration of others. If NPC, that you need to get away please use OOC thread to relay or footnote at bottom of post. I have no authority but this seems the most logical responce, I could make.

I hope the new version of the post works better. I left the breaking of the shield, but it took all of the Power he could use, so he didn't have the chance for a counter attack. He also no longer made any offensive actions at all. I also explained that the gateway was not his, but he used it anyway.

The new post works fine by me...you are in fact protecting an NPC...and you caused no lasting disrespect to Apollo's character.
