Ebony moved her own wings a bit as well, shaking off a little of the water and wriggling with giggles at getting grabbed first around the ankle and then around her midsection by the tentacles. Petting them comfortingly, the girl smiled.
"Poor Reena and Niita, don't like water, do you?" she cooed gently, running a tender hand over them.

Adhara chuckled a bit, petting Reena and Niita a bit as well, trying to comfort them and giving a bit of a smile toward Ebony. "They're not usually too fond of it, but I think that's because they don't adjust very fast. When I just get in the water, they don't really want to be in, but when I'm in it for a while, they don't want to leave," she said, giggling happily.
The two splashed around for a while before Adhara had done the approximate of wearing herself out, which was more or less finally getting tired of the water, and starting to get rather cold. Shivering a bit beneath her towel, she gestured for her brother to come down from his perch, giving a smile toward Ebony as her tentacles twisted and buried themselves as best they could in the towel. "So, Ebby, when was your mom gon'na pick you up? Should we go up to the apartment probably, or just wait for her down here?"

The smaller girl grinned warmly. "If there's a phone in the lobby, I can just call her to come pick me up. We're never sure on the times of things." she explained. "Did you want to have those cookies before I left?"

Adhara smiled right back, thinking a moment as she waited for her brother to come down from his high-up place, using his tail for balance much in the style of a cat, before he finally came to stand beside the both of them. "I'm pretty sure there's a phone in the lobby..." she said thoughtfully, finally snapping her fingers and grinning brightly. "I know- we could call your mom and just eat the cookies in the lobby while we wait for her to get here, couldn't we?"

Ebony grinned, bouncing on her toes. "Sure." she replied with a nod, "That sounds like a great idea. Mom would take a bit to get here anyway so we'd have time." she agreed.

"That's what we'll do, then," Adhara replied happily, leading the three of them back to the family changing room, wings flapping themselves dry and making the girl giggle softly. She retrieved her dress as well as Ebony's, pulling it on and pulling all her odd ligaments through the proper holes in the material, smiling toward her friend. "All ready?" she asked, then leading the lot back into the lobby and going up to the front desk with a bright smile on her face.
"Pardon me, but is there any chance that my friend could borrow the phone?" she asked, and the woman lifted the phone up and placed it on the counter, Adhi gesturing for Ebony to use it to call her mom, rocking back and forth on her feet as her tentacles tried to dry themselves further, even if they were already as dry as they were going to get.

The small girl leaned up to reach the phone on the counter, punching in her number quickly and waiting for her mother to pick up. After a brief conversation with the older woman, she hung up and returned the device to the lady behind the counter.
Grinning back at Adhi, she bounced on her toes a bit. "Mommy'll be here in a while. Shall we have those cookies?"

Adhara waited patiently as her friend called her mother, digging her still-damp toes into the strangely loose carpeting as she waited. Her wings fluffed up a bit when the girl turned back around, and she smiled happily. "Alright, good. I think we should," Adhara said agreeably with a nod of her head.
Aludra blinked curiously at the two and gave a faint hint of a smile, shrugging softly. "'Kay," he replied, before allowing his sister's tentacle to lead him toward one of the benches near the front where the three of them could sit while still being visible to Dartie when she showed up. Niita pet gently at Ebony's hair while Adhara wiggled excitedly, much more childish than most children her age. "What kinda cookies are they, Ebby?"

"Half of the ones I brought are macadamia and half are sugar." Ebby replied with a soft smile.
A bit of cookie nibbling and chit-chat later, and the girl's mother arrived. The silver haired woman waited for the trio to finish saying their goodbyes and cleaning up before leading her daughter off to home. All in all, it'd been a pretty fun day.
