Basically, I love all music. As long as its good. The genre doesn't matter so much to me as how good the performers are at achieving musical expression.

My generation is centered around mostly rap music. Most people don't consider rap as music; and they're right, in a way. All I know is that it influenced me heavily, and even opened up other doors to listening to other kinds of music.

One day, I opened up my uncle's music collection and listened to all of them. Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Otis Redding, Billie Holiday, Eric Clapton, and Led Zeppelin were just a few. I also really liked the blues, and when jazzy tunes came in, I found myself liking cigars and cognac.

I'm thinking of making a list here of all the performers I liked best. Its so hard though, since I like so many...

Haha. Oh yeah. Rap was the first thing I got into. It's because my dad was in a gang . neutral
My favorite song from Third Eye Blind was "Semi-Charmed Life" That's how I got into them.

Ahhhh yes. Classic rock. Jimi Hendrix is such an amazing guitarist. Led Zeppelin, who doesn't like em? lol

Hell yea, Queen rocks.

Queen were brilliant, i don't see how anyone can deny that.
i also don't understand people who'll exclude a genre and call it "crap" there are some artists and some genres i like less but there'll be odd songs that i like. so i try not to close off my music taste cause you never know when you could find some good songs. what i do find hilarious is people who say they hate a genre but then listen to bands from that genre and it's just so hypocritical it's funny.

Haha, I totally know what mean. xd
I was once like that. lol; That's when I heard Queen song "Bohemian Rhapsody." and "Don't stop me." I was like, whoa Queen freaking rocks. I have to thank my wrestling coach and older brother for opening my eyes/ears of other music genres cuz they we're playing a whole bunch of great tunes including Queen. Queen gets me pumped when I play it.

Haha, thanks bro.

I recognize some bands you listed there.
I heard of Oingo Boingo, Eddie Money, Nine Inch Nails, Stone Temple Pilots, Scorpions, Depeche mode. They're all great. And should try some that I haven't heard from what you listed.
