Hey, I thought about Mako's post and decided to look around and see what we could add in order to spark a bit more attraction and curiosity.

I was searching around the Golden Saucer for a bit and read the date forum and then realized we have no attraction for that particular section. So I thought what we could possibly do one thing I had in mind, which sadly I can't personaly do myself due to A) lack of talent B) lack of flexibility/eqipment/programs...you get it.
But what if we open a shop in the Golden Saucer for pictures with the different events during 'The Date'. For example some dude wants a picture with him and his girlfriend (or just a bunch of friends) on that ferris wheel tour thing with fire works in the back ground and all that jazz. Or someone can opt for thier Avi to be kissing another Avi in the play, or kissing.. the gaurd.. or that monster thing (I forgot what it was exactly). Meh, it was just a thought.

Another one and this I feel is my favortie since i've thought of it on multiple occasions but kept forgetting to bring it up.. in the Wall Market, we don't really have anything that brings us back to the good ol' times of our cross dressing hero... So.. I was thinking about a weekly?.. Monthly?..(whatever) Avi contest held at the 'Honey Bee Inn' we get the prettiest Avi's to join with an Admission of what.. 10.. 20 gold(?), which will obviousely go to the guild account, and they have to submit a little description of themselves too.. you know.. likes long walks on the beach, belching contest, and different ways to cut a corpse, blahdiblah the usual. We let the people decide who Old Donny gets, and the winner gets a prize and beauty of the week..month..whatever ( we could even make individual trophies, like Gaia does with thier donation letters. Fun thing about this one, hopefully we could promote it so that it seems to be more for the male avies to try and join and beat the girls.. You know.. find thier inner Cloud. Besides with the new hair styles.. who knows the possibilities, I've been tricked once or twice myself O.o

As for the Turtles Paradise, we could open an Advertisement Scavenger Hunt. Who ever's holding it can get helpers to post the advertisements in different forums, or the one person running it can do it themselves and advertise it in white so they have to highlight and keep track, they'd also have to give it in number order. For example, the person first advertisement can read, "Come to the Turtles Paradise for relaxation and rejuvination. Advertisement number 4!" They should also get clues, and false ones. As for the duration and prize of this event.. I don't really know it could go on for weeks and could be a prize of 100 gold, or 50 since it seems easy- though that can't really be said either>>. Really I thought of this one in order to promote activity in the subforums since they'll really have to look everywhere.

Some of this might not make sense and have some.. or many flukes in it (I'm not quite willing to go back and ..think again, apologies..) since I'm just BSing around on the computer (not that I'm BSing about this mind you) at like.. 5 am.. So yeah, I understand the guild is going under some changes and it may be a while before you can all get to this.. Heck, they're only suggestions anyways and if you'd like, I could help maybe with the second and third idea... but the first one? Sorry, but in my situation.. it's highly unlikely... >>

Dark_Devil, I think that question should be asked in either the spin off and discussion subforum or the beginners hall.

In addition, I could've sworn this subforum was for guild issue's only.. yet... >> it's been flooded with miscellaneus questions that are irrelavent to the subforum and are better suited elsewhere... Maybe if there was some way of school our newbies about using the sub forums? I don't know how.. I must ponder on this a bit before suggesting exactly what. sweatdrop

It became mutated with research topics, since the subforums title is Research and Development. Though I am partially to blame for influencing it, it just seems this is the best forum to theorize in and the like.

Ill bring it up on the Crew subforum.

@ Bonvo - The guild IDcards are for sale in the Wall Market area, if I remember correctly.
