Fibromyalgia is a physical disorder that leads to mental disorders.. does it belong here? its kind of rare, but i have it, and i found out that its the cuase of my anxiety, OCD, panic disorders, social phobia, AND depression. heres a couple of good pages about it [basic info][lots of details]most people with this syndrom are either falsley diagnosed with something else, or labled a "hypochondriact" (like me) its also a Very frustrating syndrome gonk becuase its hard to diagnose, your freinds and familly likley cant relate to you, and the physical pain itself is irritateing. here is a great symptoms checklist here, that you can show to your docter if you think you may have it: [link]

Niko, have you considered putting some info about ADHD (what used to be "ADD" is now considered a sub-set of ADHD) in here? I've done some research on it, and I'm sure that the information would be really helpful. I found out recently that if someone who has ADHD gets too worked up, or upset, their ADHD can turn into Bi-polar. This bit of information really shocked me, because I have a history of both depression and anxiety disorder, and I can get worked up really easily. If you would like some help with compiling the information, I'd be happy to help. School doesn't start for a month, and I don't have a job, so I'm free all day. ^ ^

And no worries, I can do the sticky myself, but you can look it over once it's up and tell me if I need to add anything, how's that? Thanks for your offer of help though. 3nodding I have a younger brother with ADD, and a friend whose younger brother has ADHD (he's ok now, but had it rough when he was younger). So I know a little bit about it, but not enough as someone who actually has the disorder.

Hmm... maybe put some small info on Histrionic and Narcissistic behaviour? Also maybe a Schizotypal/Schizoid info? Those are algo some common mental problems that people can experience...

Bi-polar booklet Features of a Depressive Episode - Persistent sad, anxious, or empty mood - Feeling helpless, guilty, or worthless - Hopeless or pessimistic feelings - Loss of pleasure in usual activities - Decreased energy - Loss of memory or concentration - Irritability or restlessness - Sleep disturbances - Loss of or increase in appetite - Persistent thoughts of death Features of a Manic Episode - Extreme irritability & distractibility - Excessive "high" or euphoric feelings - Sustained periods of unusual, even bizarre, behavior with significant risk-taking - Increased energy, activity, rapid talking & thinking, agitation - Decreased sleep - Unrealistic belief in one's own abilities - Poor judgment - Increased sex drive - Substance abuse - Provocative or obnoxious behavior - Denial of problem You know, Doctors my entire life have been saying "Mark you have a mood disorder" not knowing what it was, but reading the this sticky, and as much as my already paranoid and admittedly Zooming brain needs more ammo, the Bi Polar section was really close to home everything I have bolded there is True for me, especially the guilty/helpless/worthless and Death ones... I understand that symptoms and people differ but that is uncanny... it really is. sweatdrop

Sauvie Nikolita A little belated, but I just wanted to let you guys know I'm going to take the notes from this sticky and add it to my to-do list. Sorry for the delay. sweatdrop This Worries me a bit considering I just posted and copy/pasted xd No no, your comments will stay here for now. Once I make the new one, I'll copy over all comments into the sticky so there's a record of what was said. 3nodding The sticky is just too small considering what people have said they'd like me to add.
