Laura slept with a book on her face in the main royal library in the castle. No one went in there, so she didn't bother hiding. She sneezed as she woke up from all of the dust. "Sheesh. This is where they keep all the good scrolls, but no one even bothers to clean it." She sighed, sitting up and yawning. "I'm hungry. I wonder if there's any good food in the pantry." She sighed and headed towards the back entrance of the castle pantries that no one goes down.

A young imp was fluttering about the Acadamy, grinning from ear to ear. Her eyes sparkled like jewels, and she seemed like a little child at play. She wore her hair up in two ponytails, one on the left and one on the right of her head. She wondered if she could find anybody worth messing with, aggrivating, or something to that nature. Those who knew her knew her as Maemae the Imp, probably the most childish and troublesome brats around!
Rosemarie, a very attractive demoness, was sitting quietly in her room, gazing into her most prized possetion...her most extravagant mirror. Oh how she loved gazing at her flawless features! A feeling of vanity and self-adoration filled her entire being, and a pleased smile was upon her rosy red lips.

A just turned Teenage Mermaid sat on some rock's Yonder the Building gazing at it longing for some friend's to be with as she was oh so lonely. She gazed up at the tallest closest window and saw someone running around, as the girl with the Pig-tail's turned round to face the window she dove into the water and poked her eye's out just a little so she could see. The girl had gone. ''Oh why can't I stop being so shy and go up to someone to make a friend'' She said. Her starfish Gonzo called ''Genna, get down here now something's happened!!'' She sighed and ducked under the Waterline.

Maemae quickly grew bored, and crossed her legs as she began to hover in the court-yard. She had her arms crossed as well, with a childish pout upon her face. "I'm sooo BOOOOOORRREED!" she whined, looking rather irritated and upset at the moment. "Is there ANYTHING to do around here anymore?!"

"Well, you could always stay on the look out for any suitable men for me..." Shiko said with a sly gleam to her eye as she walked up to her pet. or was it familiar? in their case, perhaps it was slave, but Shiko never liked that term. familiar was what she generally used, though in her head, she sometimes would use pet just because her Maemae was so damn cute.

"If I don't steal them away, maybe." Maemae replied as a grin found itself once more on her lips. She stopped flying, cheering up alot now that she had her master to talk to. Her tail flicked about, and her eyes sparkled with mischeif. "Maybe we could find a few nice ones here if we look hard enough.."

Seiteki stood by her master as the succubus gazed at herself in the mirror. The imp knew well how much her master loved that mirror. The demoness cared for herself more then anything in the world. It pissed Seiteki off how much Rosemarie was vain, she didnt show it on her face of course. If she did that, she would get punished. The blond imp remembered taht every punishment was eitehr very sexual, or very painful. Mostly the second choice. The imp looked at her master again and finally spoke. "You seemed pleased mistress, your beauty certainly does wonders."

As Genna reached near bottom of the Sea, she realised what was going on. The water's were so clear that you could see almost 20 metre's deep. She quickly swam to the bottom as she saw a black figure swimming away in the distance, she quickly noticed that her hand-made Seashell and Pearl necklace had gone missing. ''Oh, Crap!!'' She thought as she remembered how long it had taken to make it. Gonzo stood on his two bottom arm's like feet with his 2 mid arm's crossed. His top arm was so fluffy that it looked like he had a full head of hair. He had no finger's of course so it was awfully hard for him to pick thing's up but he managed. ''Look what happened Genna!! I told you not to leave it where strange being's can find it!! ''It was some sort of... Umm... Fish with two fin's'' She said Not noticing that it was a Scuba-Diver. She quickly approached the Diver and grabbed what she thought was a fin. The diver span round in a frenzy and she almost choked as she realised it was the cute guy she had a crush on for year's. She used to sit behind her rock watching him train his Dragon Beast's. She tried to scarper away but he grabbed her arm tightly and passed her a picture. She had to push her hair out of her face as the water made it get in the way, she realised that it was a picture of her. It stated ''Have you seen this Girl'' at the top of the paper. She started panicking as she thought she was going to get scientificley tested on. He tugged her arm and took her off shore and pulled off his mask. ''Hi I'm .... Nevermind... I've been looking for you everywhere!! But whenever I approach you, you seem to disappear. Would you like to ride my Dragon Beast, I've seen gazing at them is the distance. I'll teach you and then we can talk on the way down the Beach. She wasn't sure but he reasured her that she'd be okay. As she got on shore her tail turned into leg's and the mystery man helped her up on the giant beast. He took her for a few length's back and forward along the Sea-Front and thought... ''I know, wanna race?'' he said. Gonzo the starfish popped up out of the water and again crossed his arm's and shouted ''Don't you dare Genna!! Your sure to fall off!! You can't ride that Beast!!!'' And sure enough Genna fell off of the Beast. The man helped her up and gazed into her deep green eye's ''Your so beautiful and your name... Genna... It's as beautiful as you!'' He said. Genna went red and faced the other way as she clutched his hand. ''Oh my god!!'' She thought ''He know's my name and... He like's me!!!''

"It does, doesn't it? I don't know how I would ever live without it..." Rosemarie replied, before putting her mirror away. She then looked over at her slave, the imp. She knew very much how Seiteki felt about Rosemarie's vanity...but didn't really give a crap as long as she{Seiteki} kept it to herself.

Laura snuck into the pantry. Several of the cooks were running back and forth, getting food prepaired for everyone. Right when one stepped out of the way, Laura stole an apple, a loaf of fresh baked bread, and a small carton of sweet milk. Laura went out the back door. As soon as she walked out, she heard one of the chefs yell in horror. One of the maids calmed him down. "My Bread!" he demanded. "And a carton of milk is gone. The strawberries went missing yesterday and so did a chunk of the ham! What's going on here!" He demanded.
"Must be the Phantom Shadow." The maid replied blushing.
"The Phantom who?" The cook asked.
"It's a legend now in the palace. A few years ago, there was a maid who saw a mysterious warrior practicing in the fencing room. He's a man who lives in the palace. No one really knows about him or sees him. I don't even think the king knows. Don't worry. The Phantom doesn't cause any big problems, and the legend keeps the maids working with fantasies in their head. So don't worry about it." The maid said. The cook sighed and nodded. Laura smiled after hearing this and even laughed a little.
"Ha. They think I'm a guy!" She laughed. "That's rich." She said, returning to her empty library.

"Do keep in mind though that your master gets first dibs, okay?" Shiko said with a pleased smile as she put a hand on Maemae's head. "Although...i have heard that theres a familiar somewhere around here that doesn't have a master yet thats supposed to be pretty hot..." she said putting a finger to her chin in thought.
meanwhile, in a tree not too far off, Jun reclined on a branch taking a cat nap as he soaked up the sun that made its way through the leaves. 'Now this is the life....All im missing is a nice bowl of milk.' he thought with a satisfied smile as his tail hung down lazily from the tree.

Mellow was looking around the inside of the castle (don't ask how he got in). He found the royal library and was amazed at all the scrolls there were. "I'v never seen so many scrolls!" He said to himself happily. He then heard someone coming in. He hid in one of the selves since he was small enough to fit.

Laura walked over and picked up a scroll. Out of instinct she turned around and noticed Mellow. "A human puppet... whatever. He can afford to live... I guess..." She muttered, ignoring him and going through more scrolls.
