Yvaine Dreams traditionally skyrocket with pregnancy, and they get weirder as you get further along. I'm sorry to hear you had one so scary so soon. And, of course, if there's meant to be a meaning it sounds like you're worried about a lot of exterior pressures. Have you told your family or the father yet? Sometimes it can be a real help to realize how many people love you and are happy and willing to help. I told the dad but we desided to wait and tell family, due to I dont wanted to stress out when they yell at me, though i am learning to stop caring about things like that besides when the baby is born the ones that are gonna be yelling at me now are gonna wanna be some of the first ones to hold it.

That's wonderful news! It's good to know they won't let their opinions overshadow your happiness, which is such a gift! Lovely name choices, by the way. My son's name is Lucien (the French spelling). Is Daddy getting involved and ready to help with everything? He's going to be a very important part of this. I know I'd have gone crazy in those first few months if my husband hadn't been willing to take a few late-night diaper changes on my behalf. And then there was the time my son woke up at 3am and ONLY wanted to be held and sung to by Daddy. *yawn* G'night, dear... whee

My youngest children's initials are very interesting, but we didn't do anything creative for my oldest two. My first 3 children were girls and the last 2 were boys. My 4th child's (and first boy) initials are MAN and my 5th (and 2nd boy and last child) initials are MEN. I think one of the best words of advice I got on giving my children names was "Think of the most common nick names these names will elicit" I think sometimes the names are beautiful but the nicknames springing from them can be cruel or just unappealing for the child. One of my grandmother's names was Candice and she really didn't want us naming any of our children that because she got so tired of "Candy" and all the teasing things her age group made out of that nickname.

The nickname thing is good advice! I named my daughter after a character from our favorite show because I had a feeling she would be as happy go lucky and innocent as her.. Boy was i right!! Kaylee cant really have many nicknames from it but me and my husband call her Kay Kay or the creature because instead of baby talk we got hisses.. So always do they HMMM what can kids get out of this name when you think of names.

LOL - no kidding about the initials! I will be forever grateful to my middle sister, who gently pointed out that I was talking about names that would give my son the initials FUC... xp You can bet I changed it in a hurry!
The nickname thing is funny - I'm not a nickname kind of person, but for some reason a friend joked that all our daughters would grow up to be in a band together, and said mine would be called Fifi. I laughed...and then couldn't stop calling her Fifi! She answers to both names now, but thankfully is very clear what her actual name is.

thats cool that you named your son that, i am wasnt sure how common that name was, not that it would change my mind anyway, daddy picked out the boy name, said it kinda at random that he liked it and then I have wanted Octavia since i heard the name, i guess I have a great great aunt Octavia and i fell in love with the name never met her though, my doctor appointment went well, i got so sick of people asking how do you know that your pregrant if you havent gone to the doctor, so intial would be oaw or lhw, mine are currently sac, but if i marry the dad it will be saw which is funny because he is crazy about the saw movies

I second that. I hope it goes well - it sounds like so far the responses have been a lot more positive and supportive than you were expecting, so we'll keep our fingers crossed for you!
It's interesting that your guy randomly threw in the boy name - that's what happened with our son too. My husband just said he really liked the name Lucien. I was excited because it sounds educated but not pompous...and it means "one who brings light". The name certainly fits, because he's a right little ray of sunshine! Our daughter is Felicia ("happiness"), and boy is she a happy girl! I wonder sometimes if the names we pick for our kids are influenced by their little developing personalities, or if the names we give them somehow influence the kind of person they grow to be.

I can't even imagine other names for my children - I don't know whether that is because I got used to them with those names, but I really feel that they kind of came with their own names - we struggled with some of their names, but when we came up with what we ultimately named them - well- it just FELT right, I don't know how else to put it.

I had two names picked out for Kaylee.. And One I think was Athena and one was Kaylee.. I said if the ultrasound showed a serious baby Athena it will be.. If its bouncing all over the place and causing mass mayhem Kaylee.
Well We put all our ultrasound pictures together and realized she was a very silly child WAY before birth. She got her head stuck in a spot that had to get me pushed on and bruised... And then she would every time punch the ultrasound lady. I decided Kaylee it was biggrin
And it fits oddly.. biggrin Oh and I had a weird dream! I was sitting there and she started pushing her face against my stomach to where I could see her face and She made silly noises and kiss kiss face. And then went away.. I woke up freaked out but yet felt better knowing she was gonna be good. XD But now I have a crazy baby I call the creature because she is too good to coo and talk at 3-4 months she had to hiss.. At everything!

Every minute is fascinating and wonderful, isn't it? Even when it is also frustrating and you are once again thinking"where did that come from" but in a more negative reference.
