I think you're Crystalline Echo is a much stronger version of your previous essence. Nice work on tweaking it. Somehow I envision your Raevan being able to manipulate the crystals that are part of its being to somehow amplify the sounds around it or something of the like. Good luck!

OKay here it goes!
Your soul resembles a lot like a succubus, but more Irish and it doesn't kill it's victims... Erm rather they kill themselves xD
And if I remember Laz is a succubus.
And maybe add a bit more on how Kyou found the essence, your description seems a bit short.
But overall, good job!

Fel Essence Crystalline Echo
The sound of the thunder from the great storm was so loud that the very stones of the earth soaked up the sound, and now most of it has been lost to time. However, one particular echo of that thunder was trapped in a small crystal cave, until some of the crystals there absorbed the sound - where they hold it even to this day.
One day, while exploring the caves in the cliffs near Bill's Ranch, Kyou heard a strange sound echoing through the caverns. Following it, he found that it led to a small crystal cave where the sound appeared to be trapped. Intrigued, the scientist spent several days studying the cave and the sound - finally bringing a small bottle from the Lab and reaching into the cave to retrieve a small bit of the crystal that the echos were trapped inside.
I must say, I am very fond of your fel essence concept. I think a few people have attempted some sort of echo concept and have failed because they were unable to think of some sort of vessel or form for the echoes to take so that Kyou could draw them. So not only have you made it so that the echo's have some kind of form but you've made it a pretty crystal which I'm sure will look good when mixed into a raevan design.
(Out of interest, what colour crystal would it be? In my mind I personally visualise a green crystal... But I was wondering what you thought.. XD) Soul Gancanagh

Not too sure on this soul.
Like Tnau said it does sound too close to Laz's incubus soul, and whether or not you play him differently isn't the case.. There are plenty of other souls out there which would make a good match for your crystalline echo. In fact - when I was browsing through your references for Gancanagh I saw this faerie that actually sounds more suitable;

The fact they live in underground caves - like where the crystal was found, seems fitting. Plus you could have all sorts of fun with the soul capture, Shadow could visit the faeries and lure one of them into being soul drained by tempting them with the crystal; as if they had such an interest in music I'm sure they'd be keen to have a look at it.

Indeeed... I see what you're saying about the soul and I'll definitely think on it. I just basically didn't want something like ... a normal animal of some kind XD
The other thing I considered was a butterfly - because of the whole storm caused by butterfly beating its wings and etc - but I know moths and so on are off limits ... Sooo yea XD

Don't let that stop you from using a similar soul Manda. Kyou specifically named the King Cobra and Moth souls to not be used since she has plans. But you could try a butterfly if you want! After all, my Raevan's a snake soul and Kyou accepted it. So don't think the whole species those two souls are in are to be totally ruled out. ^_^

Ou, and I'm nooot sure what color. Green would be nice, but also maybe ... smoky/grey purple? Like the color of storm-clouds :3
