Elly had to laugh at that, he sure knew how to talk the talk didn't he? That was refreshing for an encounter with another god. Not since Mrost had she even remotely enjoyed another immortal's presence enough to show that kind of mirth.
"Oh, I like that attitude of yours. You've definitely got the right idea, but even so, how would you propose you show me yours? Find some unsuspecting mortal to mess with, I suppose?"
... Yep, Elly was either naive when it came to anyone but Ahai (Which was likely since he was the first male to even look at her that way without fear of pissing himself.), genuinely naive, or reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally good at pretending.

-The corners of his maw lifted further, becoming more and more pleased with himself and her. She was just as spunky as he'd imagined at first impression, and she was quite fun too. He was geniunely enjoying himself, his feathers subconciously lifting further again, his ponytail jostling from back to shoulder as his steps became more playful.- "I'd intended to show you first hand actually. But if you'd prefer just watch I'm game for that too."

He was having a good time, she was having a good time, everyone was having a good time! His mirth was sort of catching on a little bit, but what he said made her brain screech to a hault.
.... Showing her first hand? Why did that idea make her so uneasy? She and Ahai had never specifically stated any boundaries, but it seemed obvious that to her, at least, even if she'd never say it (because it sounded completely sappy and emotional.), they were together. He was hers, damn it, and no one elses.
Was she comfortable sleeping with someone else, let alone another god? Or WATCHING someone else for that matter? Oh-- hell no, not Elly. Voyeurism wasn't her thing! She'd been thinking maybe he'd manipulate some mortals a bit, but, she hadn't thought he meant actually having them to go through with it. So his domain wasn't just pleasure in general, it was sex, specifically? ... At least if she was guessing right. In any event, what was most important was this question: Did she, basically, -want- to sleep with Limbuko. Ahai was hers and she wouldn't tolerate another female trying to seduce him, so, should she return that courtesy?
... Yet still, the OTHER question creeped. Did he feel that possessively towards her in the first place?
Elly realized she hadn't spoken for a while, and finally shook her head out of her daze.
"Wait, what? What exactly are we talking about, here, sex?"
She waited, eyes on Limbuko's moving form calmly (for the moment) as she waited for an answer.

-Just as his good mood had been filtering over her, her sudden surprise was mirrored in him as she suddenly fell silent and then so abruptly and bluntly addressed him. Even if she WAS all talk and tease, it was strange that she'd be so offended so suddenly, so the laugh that escaped was silently nervous, obviously confused.- "Well..."
"Sex IS one of the more common expressions of pleasure. But there is other stuff too. Some really like to eat, others find nothing more pleasureable then slaughtering defenseless prey beasts. It's really whatever makes someone feel good."
-He certainly was confused, and he was suddenly a little afraid. What would she do if his powers dragged up to the surface a lust that her brain told her she didn't want. His eyes shifted to her muscles again cautiously, smile softening as he tried to recover his composure and smooth words.-
"If that was what you wanted, I'd be more than happy to oblidge. You're a lovely goddess and I assume your attitude would be all the more fun in such intimate games, but there are certainly other things we could do."
-Ahhh, there she was. Though her colors blended so well with the savannah he'd gotten quite good at picking her pressence out, and a soft rumble touched his throat at the triumph. It was short lived however as he noticed the other presence. Fruity purple like a prissy girl. And yet it was obviously a god.
He drew closer silently, nonchalantly as he tried to take in the sight. Was it a goddess? Certainly the slender body and frilly colors and feathers made him think so. It was a masculine voice that rasped out the word that caused the mortal to pause in his steps however. Sex?-
"Elly?" -His voice boomed, muscles tightening as he prepared to charge.-

Okay, now that certainly made sense. She was just starting to relax again. She wasn't sure what she enjoyed more, "rough housing" with Ahai or laying waste and letting loose her powers, but the second she was sure wouldn't be a healthy thing, so she was not a good target for his powers to be sure. That risk was too high and even she knew it.
She hadn't meant to be intimidating for once, but one couldn't expect much better when one didn't ever display anything but aggression in almost all that she did. Elly picked up on his confusion, which would have been fine, but he also seemed nervous. THAT made her quirk an eyebrow warily. She didn't know what he had to be nervous about, so it made her wonder.
Then he said it. He called her LOVELY, of all things. Elly immediately felt her fur on the back of her neck bristle, then the rest of it stood on end when Ahai spoke out.
Ohhhhh damn. Just what had he overheard? He sounded pissed.
"Yeah?" She answered, somehow managing to keep outwardly calm, but being on his bad side once was enough for her. For a mortal somehow he could be damned intimidating when he was pissed, not that she would EVER admit that. THAT was a secret she'd take to the grave because she wasn't sure why anyone should hold that kind of power over her. At least it only made her jump when she felt like she had done something to make her feel guilty. Maybe it wasn't Ahai, but guilt that she feared, or being judged.
Regardless. THIS was a problem.

-She hadn't said anything yet, but he was a pro at reading body langauge. Any problem, atleast it seemed, had been smoothed, so slowly he began to relax again himself, only to jolt again in surprise as her body tightened, and voice cut through the air.
His eyes actually touching the blue male caused him to draw back a step, feathers falling back, tail taking a subconcious place beneath his legs. The sight of the male was horrible, but even more the overwhelming overflow of anger and displeasure. The aura flickered and assaulted his senses. It was obvious this male was more than capable of causing trouble, so whatever his problem was, it was suddenly Lim's problem as well.-
-He was surprised, and sadly for most living beings, Ahai knew few other ways then his claws to deal with problems and feelings. This however... was something even worse, a feeling he'd felt less times then he could count on his paw. Jealousy flickered like flames through his chest, eyes narrowing at the purple figure.
Was this what she wanted? Another god? It stung... completely understandable as it might have been. For wasn't that what most gods thought, that they were superior to mortals? Did she hunger for someone more to her status?
But this? This frilly, bright freak, quivering like a cub. HE was better then him? Like HELL he was. Another snarl escaped him as the thought touched him, even more insulted then he'd been. If she choose a god... it was still unlikely he'd give her away. But a god like this on top of it?
He bounded forward, bringing himself possively closer to Elly, green eyes staring daggers at the god. Was he angry at her? Maybe.. more likely hurt. But he was more than furious at the god. Claws grinding into the ground, he made it clearly obvious that he'd heard enough, snarl sounding.- "If your paws get any closer to my woman, you'll find my claws making friends with your genitals."

She might have figured out from this that yes, yes Ahai did feel as possessive of her as she did of him, yes he did, but he beat her to the conclusion by blurting it out.
Elly had half expected for him to turn on her like he had last time, with his brother, but instead he was directing his aggression towards Limbuko. She might have felt sorry for the god, but even if such an emotion was readily available to her at that moment she was too shocked to act on it. As Ahai bounded closer and took stance aggressively by her side, bold declaration clearly heard, Elly stared at him as if he'd grown a second and third head.
Lim should go, he should, and she should tell him that, but her brain was frozen as was her jaw, which was hanging open a little with shock after dropping.
Finally she snapped out of it.
"Ahai! We were just talking!" She jumped in, brain still playing a bit of catch up. She did have the good sense to put herself between Ahai and Limbuko, giving the purple god a chance to escape, and she found herself hoping he'd take that chance rather hastily, though sadly it had little do with safety.

-'Care' for her as he might, it didn't mean Ahai's brutish nature faded. He was and likely would always be meaner to her then one should be to one they loved. Rougher, less cabable of understanding and delivering her needs and wants then a 'mate' should be. His aggression to woman and ingrained sexism and ego waring with the bizzare feelings that he could only vaguely compare to the connection he felt to his twin. Elly and the way he felt about her was an enigma. And thinking was something that frusterated Ahai immensely. So instead of the hero in armor, a monster rose from the azure beast.
His shoulder bumped Elly roughly as she tried to get in the way, paw reaching out to swat warningly at Lim as he snapped at her.- "We both know you like talking as much as I do Elly."
-Reaching forward again, this time catching the edge of Lim's shoulder, just enough to draw a trickle of red to the surface he huffed.- "She's used goods anyway God. So get the ******** out."
-Holy c....!!! Between the surprise, the aura, and the situation Limbuko was startled, standing like a deer in headlights as the lion drew nearer, becoming larger and more intimidating the closer he drew. He was easily one and half time's Lim's size, all muscle and teeth.
It was only when claws came his way that he broke into movement, stepping back. His heart pounded in his ears, battle a completely foriegn thing to the god. His eyes flashed from Elly to the beast. She was trying to help? She was his? Lim's breath was labored and overwhelmed.
A step back, and another, trying to escape the situation. It wasn't the first time he'd been run off by a mate after bedding or almost bedding their partner. His silver eyes widened however as Ahai rammed into 'his woman', face shifting from fear to confusion at the words that sounded. That... that wasn't right! He thought he was her mate?
Poor Lim... irresponsibly stupid Lim. He paused, barking out as claws drug across his shoulder.- "Don't talk about her like that. And certainly don't hurt her. Brute!"

Elly, thank the other gods, wasn't looking for a provider or knight in shining armor, not in either male. When Ahai shoved her with his shoulder she didn't take offense or get her feelings hurt or any of that girly nonsense. She only knew how to deal with Ahai one way, and that was fire with fire.
USED GOODS?! She growled, getting a good grounding before throwing her weight back into his with the intention of knocking him over sideways.
"I like talking just fine when it's talking about my powers. Now knock it off!" She snarled as she did so, for the moment ignoring Limbuko. "You could be putting that aggression to much better use right now." She pointed out with her usual brashness, tail lashing. Only then did she dare speaking to the other god. "I'm a big girl, Limbuko. I can handle this."
And he might notice that though Ahai was certainly irritated and angry, Elly all but couldn't wait until they got some privacy, even if that required some special negotiations first.

-Limbuko was torn. Part of him wanted to protect her foolishly.. But his brain told him to run and it was fairly obvious she could take care of herself. Still... His head was swimming, and he lifted himself beginning to leviatate, feathers streching out. It just felt wrong to leave her in the situation. Certainly she couldn't be happy with him? She could feel displeasure in her aura too now, though that likely had to do with what was going on.-
-A loud huff of air escaped him as Elly careened into his side, knocking the air out of him and sending him skirting sideways, paws thankfully saving him from a fall. He didn't even bother sending a look her way, sucking in a breath to cover before he bounded forward.
The whole situation, the jealousy bubbled and boiled like a pot left on too long. And now the anger and hatred related to his father was being focused on this other god. He hated gods, Elly aside. They were liars. Selfish theives. Rage clouded his head and ears.
He bounded one step, two, paw reaching up to wrap around the the ankle of the god who had hesitated too long.- "Trying to protect your little boyfriend!?"
-An almost feminine squeak escaped Lim as his body came crashing to the ground once more. A dull throb rocked him, head swimming. Before he could even recover teeth grated at his back and the sting of feathers being ripped from him brought him to begin struggling beneath the huge beast. He was stupid.. so so stupid. He'd always been a lover.. not a fighter.-

Elly saw a bit of red that had nothing to do with the markings on Ahai's side.
This time she got a running start, making sure to tackle the big blue lug off of the pastel colored god. She glared down at him, eyes just as furious as he was jealous.
"You ******** idiot!"
Thankfully such endearing pet names were rather common for these two. Anyone else might have been appalled.
... Poor Limbuko, beaten up, affronted, insulted, he couldn't be in good shape. Elly was more offended that Ahai had suggested she and Limbuko had something going on than she had been at the used goods comment! Much more! He wasn't at all to her taste in men, not at all! How dare Ahai suggest that she'd throw herself at anything with wings and powers.
"You piss me off, you know that?! If you ever suggest something like that again I'll rip your spine out through your a** and beat you over the head with it! Now take it back!"

((I'm assuming this is still set back when the kids were juvi-aged, since the beginning posts and all. heart - just a note so you didn't get confused. XD))
-Pain, more pressure and pain, and then suddenly relief. Well.. not complete relief, but the sting of teeth and claws had left his skin atleast. He bolted straight up, moving along with the struggling shove of his body. Survival instinct took over, lifting him to the skies quicker then he'd likely ever gone. Thank goodness his wings were just for show, he imagined trying to fly with them would have been a pain in itself.
Whimpering softly at the thought he tried not to look at himself, simply pulling himself as far away from the horrible auras and pain as he could, body dragging himself to a place where he could be safe.-
-This time he went over, skidding all the way to his back as the goddess planted herself above him, shaking off the barely noticeable ache that the motion had caused. His maw twisted in a snarl instinctively, eyes narrowing as they always did when they fought. Unlike usual though, Ahai had no want or intent to hurt her even in 'play'.
Her words should have soothed him, for they were the same as they always were in their writhing game of twisted love and hate. But there was something else hiding behind the body that showed aggression on the outside.
He was waiting for it. To hear it again.
To have his very heart and ego and soul torn out of him and crushed as she told him she wanted nothing to do with him. Tossed him aside like garbage without a thought just as his father had. Perhaps Matsai had been right. Maybe they were the only ones that would ever be there for each other.
The particular god that had by now long gone had left his mind, and he ignored her words, rasping a simple question, not wanting to draw out the wound infliction longer than it had to be.- "Perhaps not him. But is that what you're looking for?"
"Going to turn tail and run the second the children head out on their own? Find one of your own kind?" -Of course he'd assumed that'd be the case when it'd first happened.. the surprise little family placed before him. But now... Now it wasn't just about raising the strongest and deadliest little creatures they could was it? Not to him atleast.-

((Yep! :] I think that was around that time, for sure.))
Elly was aware of it when Limbuko left, but she paid him no further mind than to note he was alive, conscious, and apparently able to get away. She was focused more on the male snarling up at her, and even once Limbuko had gone she didn't move, glaring down at him.
His question took her off guard. Elly didn't like being taken off guard.
Glaring again she gave him a shove, pushing back to stand on her own.
"I said it before, and I'll say it again. You're a ******** idiot."
What had brought this on? Well, it was true that another god would live a lot longer than him, but Elly wasn't interested in a lovey dovey happily ever after. That was boring, and she was sure she couldn't handle an eternity with someone with as much ego as her, or more, let alone someone else with powers. She admitted that she liked the fact that she was the only female, the only god that Ahai would tolerate, and she didn't get along with gods even with alignments similar to hers, the only god that she had ever cared about aside from her own family was Mrost, and that wasn't the same as what she felt for Ahai, she knew that much at least, so--
"No, it's not." She spat the words flatly. "When exactly did you decide you wanted me to stay?"

-When she said it like that... and the true sappiness of it all occured to him, he growled once more, low and directed at himself. He pushed himself from the dirt, taking a step away from her, paws thuding hard against the ground.
The jealousy was fading along with the adreniline as he pieced together the words and actions that'd come from her within the past few minutes. And he realized that nothing had really changed. Atleast, not in the bad way he'd assumed it had upon walking in on the situation. For now atleast things would be the same.
So it fell upon him to try and fix his image, clean up the ******** wussy display that had just occured. Straighening himself, standing tall and proud he shook his head, ruffling his mane to add to his size.- "Look Elly. I don't like my things being taken, it's a matter of pride."
"I've owned you since the moment I straddled you across the dirt all those months ago." -Ahh.. what was it about crudeness and sexism that made him feel better.. more like himself. He shouldn't let his emotions get to him so much. Letting the snarl fade to something reminescent of a smirk, he mused boldly.- "So if you think you can just run off, you've got another thing coming. You are my possession, and I will come after you."

That was much better, him being his usual self, that was, but she did growl and glare at the following comments.
Oh MAN this guy knew just how to get under her fur! The other part, though, she couldn't exactly argue, and her eyes narrowed with irritation to show for it. "Blah blah ******** BLAH blah! You and your pride can shove it! You have that all backwards. You're MINE, because I LET you straddle me all those months ago. That's a damn privilege! And you'd better not have lost those cubs!" She snapped, turning away from him with a mutter to go find the kids, going on about how men were such moronic, hormonal, testosterone driven little pissers and moaners.
MEEEEEN!!! IDIOTS! ALL OF THEM! D<
