Placing her arms by her side Elliotte looked at Lea. "Yeah it took me about a month to get used to the idea, but it's better then being up there." She said pointing upwards, suggesting the surface.
Looking over Lea's shoulder she saw one of the guards returning from one of the tunnel entrances. "I wander if they ahd any problems last night." Nodding her head suggestivly ((SP)) at the guard behind Lea, who had now just walked into his room.

Lea nodded in agreement, then turned around to see a door close "Problems? Like what?" she asked, turning back to Elliotte.

Elliotte looked at Lea with a look of confustion. "Erm, Do you not know what's out there?" She asked. Scratching the back of her head Elliotte says "The creatures, they came out of a 'black hole' that was created by a bunch of scientists." using her hands as quotations, then putting her hands back to her side she continues. "They have been attacking on and off for the last month or so. The main enterance is really bad at the moment. I've herd of them attacking up to 5 times in one night."
"What is it you do? I wouldn't put a nice neat girl like yourself, down as the fighting type." She says with a slight smile.

Lea rolled her eyes "I DO know what's out there, I happened to be chased by those things. I just didn't think they'd attack these places." she said. She crossed her arms across her chest "And I'd hardly consider myself neat. I'm a doctor." she said with out the slightest hint of arrogance.

Only a small amount of time had passed since he had sat down with a drink and actually began to feel a little relaxed when his second in command contacted him. After aknowledging to call he sighed and rapidly re-equiped himself and headed out. double checking his webbing as he wondered rapidly up the passage to the back doors to the colony he passed two girls chatting. Glancing back he smiled slightly.
Checking his stride he continued on, breaking into a jog.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to offend."She says feeling slightly bad and placing her hands behind her back. "I didn't know. I hope you weren't hurt by it."
As she looked up she saw the guard come out of his room again. Her eyes followed him as he approched them, then passed. She turned still watchin him and smiled back as she saw him carry on down the tunnel.
She turned back to Lea and said "I wander whats happends. Another attack no doubt." then turns and starts walking the same way as the guard. Looking back at Lea "You coming?"

Lea sighed "You didn't offend me. I just don't like the idea of having to hide from everything..." she said and shrugged. She followed her, not having really anything else to do. Her experiment hadn't worked and she'd given up on it.

Reaching the end on the tunnel he could hear gunfire in the distance. Two guards were still posted at the enterance. Stopping to the side of one of the guards he gazed off into the distace.
"Where is commander martin?" He asked with a rushed tone to his voice. drawing his M16 over his shoulder, he started a saftey check over it. As he did this the guard tapped him and pointed into the distance. Nodding, he finished his check and with rifle in hand he headed off in that dirrection.

"Come on then, lets see if we can find out what's going on." Elliotte said as they walked up the tunnles in the directions the guard did.
As she got closer she herd voices from ahead. "By the sounds of it, it's another attack. One of these days those things will get into this place. Then we will be screwed." She said trying to see where the guard went.

Lea sighed "If I could get my hand on one of those things I could figure out how to beat them more easily." she said softly.

Turning and looking at Lea Elliotte says "We still have to figure out how to knock it out long enough for us to look at it." smiling slightly at the thought. Turnung back around she says "How long do you think it would take to find their weakness?"

"I know how to knock it out, I just need a specimen. And I dunno, if I worked all day everyday I'd say maybe a week if I didn't kill it from all the torture first." she said and shrugged.

"You do?" Elliotte looks at lea and smiles. "You work fast then? I'm sure if we can find someone and have a word with, we might be able to get somewere." 'But who' she thinks to herself. "That guard." she said to herself. Then looking back at Lea. "We need to find that guard."

"What are we waiting for then? The faster I get a specimen, the faster we'll be out of this hole!" she said, running in the direction the guard went.

"Hey hold up a minute" Elliotte said running after Lea. Catching up she says "OK so say we catch one and you do find out how to stop them, how will that help when they are still coming thought the black hole thingy? We need to fingure out how to stop that too." Still running by Lea's side.
