Zufall didn't notice that Kartala wasn't following him until she started to speak. He grinned sheepishly. "I Knew that!" He exclaimed and spun around now heading towards the correct direction thanks to Kartala. He sighed realizing if he lived in this territory the weather wouldn't kill him it was his poor sense of direction. In fact he was starting to get used to the gusts of wind and wasn't having as much trouble moving around anymore. His compass may be shot but his adaptability definitely was not.

Kartala snickered at the cute display as he made to walk with her. "Its okay, Zu. Just stay with me, I promise I won't get you lost." She looked down at him, another smile playing across her face. "I'll even save you if you happen to sink so far in the snow I can't even see your ears."

Zufall Sighed as he caught up to her "I doubt a goddess could keep me from getting lost," Zufall said trying to make it sound like a joke, but sadly it was true. He looked at Kartala and smiled. He gasped at what she said next though "That can really happen?" He asked "I thought they were just pulling my leg." He looked a little scared at the thought of only seeing the white snow around him for as tall as he could see. He had promised Freiheit to adventure more, so his love for Freiheit won out.

"Hey, you think you got it bad? I grew up here with three other brothers. At least I'm gonna help you get out if you fall through. They purposly put me in those predicaments and then watched me try and dig my way free." Kartala gave him a gentle nuge to the shoulder. "So theres nothing to wory about. 'Kay kiddo?"

"What a mean thing to do! Did you have to learn how to get out on your own?" Zufall asked hoping if she had learned that she could teach him that way she wasn't always helping him out. "OK, Thanks Kartala," He said looking less worried by the moment. "How long did it take you to get used to walking in the snow and wind, when you were a pup?" He asked Kartala out of pure curiosity.

"Concidering I was smaller than you, a lot longer than it seems to be taking you." She eyed him slightly. "You know we really shouldn't keep you here too long. Concidering it is pretty col here and you'r fur wasn't made for this kind of extreme weather. Not only that but going from a warm climate so quickly to a cold one could get you sick."

"Oh... really," He said feeling a little bit of pride that he was adapting to walking in the snow in wind faster than a normal pup. "My fur is fine for this weather. I can't even feel the cold anymore," He said. It was true he couldn't feel the cold but what he could feel was his fur freezing together giving it a weird clear blueish tinge. "My friend stayed her a week before leaving," He said to Kartala, "I could make it longer if I tried." It was true that his friend had stayed her for a little bit but her fur was a little thicker than his was.

"If you say so, but one sneez and I'm taking you back." Kartala shook her head at the pridefilled pup, wondering were exactly he planned on staying if he was going to be here for longer than a week. "So since your having an extended vacasion in this vast wasteland...were do you plan on sleeping out the much colder nights exactly?"

"Aww. What if the sneeze isn't cold related?" Zufall asked jokingly. From the looks of this place there wasn't much else to sneeze about. "Well I hadn't though about where I would sleep..... I guess I could dig in for the nights," He said looking a little unsure. He thought that's what his friend had said maybe it wasn't. Either way he would probably find out in the best way he knew how trial and error. He bounded a little bit ahead of Kartala seeming to enjoy the snow.

"It could be efective at best, true, but lets hope you find a secure place. Digging into unstable snow isn't usually safe, so you'd best be carefull. No sleeping on slopes." Kartala shook her head as she watche the pup frolic ahead of her, she'd never understand what was so captivating about this wasteland.

Zufall Nodded taking in everything Kartala said and committing it to memory. "So how long should it take to get to the end of the north," He asked Kartala pausing and waiting for her to catch up.

Kartala looked at the small pup as if he'd lost his mind. "End of the north? Do you plan on walking north untill you get to the south? Are you nutts? You'd be here at least a month. And look at you, your fur is frozen. I don't think thats such a good idea kiddo." She gave him a worried look as she now walked along side him to werever he had his mind set on going....

Zufall noticed the weird look he got. "I didn't mean the end-end just as far as most Helixes dare to go," He said correcting the statement. He sounded a little embarrassed. "You can walk north until you get South?" he asked something about that sounded off to him. He stopped walking lost in thought... It was making his brain hurt. He hadn't thought that hard since Emilie had played a trick on him a few weeks ago

"Well...no. Not unless you want to swim any ways. And trust me, you don't." Kartala gave him a small smile. "Im sorry I misunderstood you." She sighed. "You can go just about anywhere but the more north you go, the colder, windyer and more snowy it gets. I wouldn't recomend it."

"Do you know any interesting landmarks in the North?" He asked He was beginning to understand why so few lived in the North. His pelt had started to grow icicles. He gave himself a quick shake which made most of the icicles stick up like spikes. He gave a little laugh about that then continued walking.
