"No there is nothing I need from you."Artemis siad before turning around. As he went out the door he siad this."Becareful you never know when time will come for you." it was directed at Jes and although she might not know what it meant it was a threat, and it hinted towards what his powers were.

Jes chuckled coldly, feeling the waves of aggression roll off of Artemis. It was a thinly veiled threat, if a weak one. She found it amusing to have been threatened by another arrancar who could be no more powerful than she. And she'd really done so little to antagonize him.
She could care less, though. The angrier her enemies became, and the more impassioned their will to destroy her, the stronger she'd become. And the harder they'd fall. Grinning at this little paradox, Jes slid lightly over one arm of the obsidian throne and disappeared into a different corridor. The dark swallowed her, laughter and all, as she made her way to a more private exit.

Otosi laughed as he became more interested in what else he hasn't see here in Las Noches. Then he felt some conflict, some shinigami were in the labyrinth and Otosi felt the urge to fight. "Well at least things wont be dull around here." He raised his reiatsu and disappeared to go see what he could do to be of assistance.

Jes returned some time later, leading a stoically silent Eme by one arm. She wouldn't be silent for long. Jes would see to that.
Her strangely-lit chambers were filled with arrancar and hollows alike, playing disinterestedly with the last of the week's catch of humans. Jes didn't mind that her subordinates were playing with her toys. They were used up and broken, anyway, and she'd have killed them soon. As it was, they lolled limply in the Court's grip, blood staining the obsidian floor.
Jes's Court fell silent as she entered. The only sound was the moan of a human victim whose cry was quickly silenced by an arrancar who broke the human's neck with a merciful twist of one hand. Jes's dead eyes scanned the room, letting them squirm under her gaze. Her moods were so variable that none of the Court knew if she'd fall into a rage or praise them like dutiful children.
"Out, please," The Court released a collective breath. Not angry. Not pleased, but not nearly as violent as she could have been. "Take your playthings elsewhere, and take care of the blood later,"
Arrancar and hollow alike dispersed quickly, disappearing into the labyrinth of tunnels that riddled the rock. Only then did Jes continue on. She crossed the open floor, oblivious to the fresh blood that glowed darkly against the obsidian.
She approached the small dais that held her throne and attached the lead of Eme's bonds to a metal ring embedded in the rock. The lead was short enough that Eme would only be able to sit on the edge of the dais comfortably. Jes sat down next to her, leaning back against one leg of the rough-hewn obsidian throne. Dull crimson eyes appraised Eme with mild interest, and the shadows that followed Jes like a faithful pet crawled over Eme's skin.
"Will I have to do something about your silence, or will you speak with me?" She wanted to know. Cut to the chase. She was hungry and curious and it wouldn't do for Eme to keep up her silent front.

Eme followed along beside Jes, her shackles clanging against her wrists. As she neared the courtroom, she could feel the stench of death, as if it had a physical presence, it growing larger as she drew closer. However her expression didn't change as she wasn't going to show any sign of weakness while being captive, not anymore at least.
As Jes proceeded to latch her onto the rock, she refused to sit down next to this monster. Shadows loomed over her body, crawling over her like snakes which did frightening her, a look of slight dissatisfaction strewn over her face.
"Do what you must, Bruja. I will not falter. I refuse to speak more to you than necessary."

"I know you're afraid," Jes told Eme, lazily drawing her blackened dagger and spinning it between her fingers with practiced ease. She inhaled deeply, tasting Eme's fear in the back of her throat, whetting her appetite. The dark pupils of her dead crimson eyes dilated, giving her a predatory look. "I know that you've already faltered. That you're falling,"
Jes reached up and tugged on the chain lead of Eme's manacles, forcing her to lean forward. She gently traced the side of Eme's face with her dagger. "Is it frightening to know that no one will catch you?"
A lock of dark hair had fallen over Eme's face, and Jes flicked it back with a quick twist of her dagger. The point bit into Eme's cheek, drawing a line of blood. Jes inhaled again, stealing the pain of the cut before Eme had a chance to feel it herself. "Don't rely upon your protectors," She instructed her, as if teaching a stubborn child. "They will always fail you,"
Shadows tumbled through Eme's hair, trickling down the side of her cheek. They slithered into the cut Jes had made, eliciting echoes from a host of Eme's shadowed memories. Jes ran her tongue over her lips, already imagining the flood of emotion when Eme finally broke.
"The defiant act is cute, but it is wearing on my nerves," Jes informed Eme. "Sit so I don't have to crane my neck, and we'll have a bit of a chat. I should like to talk to you while you're still whole, but if you're so intent upon losing your mind, I can help you with that, too. Now, sit,"

She didn't say anything for the moment, propping her leg up to balance herself against the throne to not fall over. Oh how she wanted to be released of these chains and manacles, only to strangle this witch. She sighed defeated, knowing that for the time being she would have to listen to this woman to a degree. Seeing as at this point, she was at a disadvantage, and without her powers her chance of survival was minimal unless she obeyed.
In one fluid motion, she spun to the side and sat down, as far as possible from Jes.
"Unless we're talking about releasing me, we're not going to have a very pleasant conversation. I can assure you of that."
~Don't try to piss her off too much Eme... I can't help out until you can get your hands free. So... DO. NOT. PRESS. OUR. LUCK... or you'll get the both of us killed, chica.~
Alright, alright, alright... geez, I've never heard you so chatty before. You're not afraid are you? Especially after telling me constantly to show no fear.
~You need to know the times of when and where to show no fear. You better not mess up or we're dead, I mean it this time. We're in a bad situation since we're isolated from everyone else.~

Jes grinned smugly, feeding on the bracing waves of antagonism that rolled from Eme as she moved to sit on the black stone dais, as far from Jes as her tether would allow. Her obvious attempt at defiance was amusing, so Jes let it slide.
"Good," Jes didn't bother masking the triumph in her tone. She licked the drop of blood she'd drawn from Eme's cheek from her blackened blade before she resumed spinning it between her fingers. Eme would learn to listen or there would be consequences.
"Now then, Eme, right?" It was a rhetorical question-- Jes knew her name from Lemo's readouts in the cellblock. "That must be short for something. Emily, I'll bet... Well, in any case, I like it, so that's what I'll call you. My little Emily,"
Jes shifted to close the distance between them. "A pretty name for a pretty little pet. I've had others like you. Strong, defiant, stubborn to a fault... I broke them all in the end. So brittle, they just snapped. You'll have to learn to bend, Emily, or I'm afraid you'll crack, too. But then, I'm sure you have a lovely scream,"
She could feel Eme trying to tamp down her fear, and she had to give the girl credit-- it was getting much harder to feed on it, much less sense it. That wouldn't do. Hefting her dagger, Jes moved abruptly. In one moment, she lounged against the leg of her carved stone throne, in the next, she'd tackled Eme, pushing the younger girl over so that her head cracked against the unforgiving stone. Again, Jes sucked away the pain before Eme's body had truly registered it.
She sat on top of Eme, straddling her with one leg on either side of her abdomen. Her dagger was poised over Eme's chest, but the anger which had twisted Jes's face into a savage mask faded just as quickly. She sat back, tapping the blade pensively against Eme's collarbone. Savor this, she reminded herself. How many times had Irial chided her for bolting a meal?
Besides, the shot of pain she'd taken from Eme had calmed her somewhat. It amused her to take someone's pain before they themselves could register it. The numbness that replaced feeling was often more terrifying than the pain itself. More than a few humans had lost their minds that way.
"But, I suppose you're a shinigami, so maybe you'll last longer than my human playthings," Jes mused, calm again and studying Eme's stony face. "You seem young. I know appearance can be deceptive in this afterlife of ours, but the way you act... Who did you leave behind when you died? Did you have a family? I had a sister, you know. She was like an angel who fell to earth..."
Jes frowned, realizing what she was saying. She corrected herself with a tone of annoyance. "No, I didn't have a sister. But I'll bet you did. Older, right? Protected you? Did she protect you, Emily? Seems like she failed you,"

She flinched as her head hit the stone, a stroke of curiosity as she had felt no pain.
"Get off me, witch, you're no where near as light as you look." She said, pulling against the chains until she slid both her and Jes closer to the rock. She pulled her legs under to slowly lift herself up. Even with the dagger pointed between her chest and collarbone, she was confident in Divina Sugre's ability to ward her from her body being pierced by blades.
"I... don't... have a family." She said, swaying side to side in an attempt to force Jes off of her. She didn't remember a thing about her past, her being a rare case since all the shinigami she knew had known about their past. Their family, their friends, how they died... they remembered it all and she was jealous of it. But something pressed her in the back of her mind.
Feiy... I kept hearing that name so much these past few months. But, I can't believe them, even if its just paranoia getting in the way. She glared at Jes, almost fuming at the thought that she was even making her think about it all.
"Not a sister either!"

Rolling her eyes as Eme squirmed beneath her, Jes abruptly ripped Eme's scarf and goggles off and lashed out with her dagger. The charred metal flashed dully as it drew a deep gash across Eme's face. Blood pooled quickly from the cut that began just below her left eye, bridged her nose, and continued across the opposing cheekbone.
She let Eme keep the pain, this time.
"You'll move when I say move, and you'll be still when I say be still," Jes's voice was dangerously level, face blank, though her eyes glinted at the fast-flowing blood. "And I say be still ,"
Tossing away Eme's headgear, Jes leaned down and pressed her lips to the outside corner of the wound. Her lips came away bloody, and she flicked her tongue out to taste it. "We don't want to scar that lovely face of yours, do we, Emily? No more than necessary, at any rate,"
Whiping her mouth delicately, Jes resettled herself on Eme's stomach before continuing, tone as placid as before. "Now, I think you're lying to me, but I'll have the truth, one way or another..." She patted Eme's cheek lightly, flashing a cold smile. "Come, come, we can be civil about this. I am desirous of conversation, and you may choose to provide it... Or I can use you for less savory entertainment. Your choice, Emily,"

Eme began to hyperventilate as soon as Jes took off her headgear and scarf. She took a deep breath as the blade easily punctured her skin, biting her lip to overpower the pain Jes was inflicting making herself bleed in the process. As Jes leaned down to press her lips against the wound, Eme didn't waste the moment to spit on her face. She was absolutely furious and was squirming around even more than before. Tears welled up in her eyes, as air rushed to her face, making it sting even more. It was then that she began to cry, not out of fear mind you, but of frustration.
"I'll kill yoU! I never felt so much towards anyone before until you came along! Release me! RELEASE ME SO I CAN BREAK YOUR NECK! AHHH!" She screamed in a feral manner, thrashing about. Some blood flowed to her mouth, making her spit that as well onto Jes' clothing.
"I'll make your burn, to the point where you're just mere ash. I'll erase you from your existance! RELEASE ME, WITCH! LET ME GOOOOO!" She continued her screams.
~EME, CALM DOWN! YOU'RE GOING TO MAKE THIS WORSE FOR US! PLEASE! LISTEN TO ME! Divina Sugre's words fell on deaf ears. Eme had completely lost her cool, and with how this arrancar has acted so far it was very much a very stupid choice she had made.

Jes merely laughed as she wiped the spittle from her face. The laughter bounced eerily off the walls, mingling with Eme's infuriated sobs. Jes's face was alive with delight as hatred and malice welled up from Eme in a wave. She drew deep breaths, though this was a bit difficult, considering her laughing fit.
With every breath, the crimson of her eyes grew darker until they had turned black as pitch. Far more noticeable was her exponential growth in strength. Though Eme thrashed and shouted with all her might, Jes easily pinned her down, legs tight around her waist and a hand to her throat, seemingly with no effort.
The charred metal of Jes's dagger glowed strangely in the blue light reflected from the obsidian and the blood along its length. It flashed as Jes drew it across Eme's face again and again, flaying nearly every inch of skin open. She left Eme's eyes, though, taking particular pleasure in the anguish and hatred she saw burning there.
"Such a shame," Transferring her grip to Eme's jaw, Jes mercilessly twisted Eme's head this way and that to survey her handiwork. The girl's face was a bloody mess, cross-hatched with countless gashes that intersected and turned the skin to so much torn flesh. "You were so pretty, Emily. But, no matter... It seems a pity to waste such a lovely, broken toy,"
With a grin, Jes stabbed her knife into the rock beside her and tilted Eme's head back a bit before leaning in and sealing her lips against Eme's. She slipped her tongue between Eme's lips and blew gently. A flood of Shadows roiled up her throat and forced their way into Eme's mouth, slithering down into her before she could protest. The coiled through her veins, settling around her heart and nervous system.
Satisfied, Jes broke away, licking the blood from her lips. "Time to crack you wiiide open, my little Emily," She taunted.

Eme couldn't even stifle a breath, let alone a scream as Jes mutilated her. She tried her hardest to cease her crying, as her very tears aided in her unwanted humility, making her skin sting with a horrid sensation she has now experienced.
As Jes had finished her abused, she couldn't help but cry. She refused to become this witch's pet, but her endurance was definitely wearing thin. She was breathing short, quick breaths as if to not agitate her wounds more. As Jes forced her lips against Eme's, she tried to move herself away but to no avail. Jes's vile tongue slipping into her mouth, she bit into it as hard as she could, hoping that the arrancar's hierro didn't reach so far as to cover her insides as well. She could feel something slid into her throat, almost shifting around inside of her, and she glared into Jes's pitch black eyes, ignoring the blood stinging her eyes.
She forced her hands to reach up to strangle Jes, but due to the position she was in she couldn't reach that far. However, she continued to try, rubbing her wrists raw from under suit, its bright white and royal blue color being tainted by the deepening crimson.

"Poor thing," Jes crooned as she easily caught Eme's grasping hands and held them to one side. Her eyes, still black as ink, sparked as she fed on Eme's rage and pain. She locked Eme's face in a vice-like grip and bent close, again, so that her forehead was mere inches from Eme's bloody one. "I know this hurts... But I can take it all away... Would you like that?"
She didn't bother waiting for a response. As she drew another breath, Jes pulled every inch of pain from Eme's body. It rolled over her tongue with a familiar, tantalizing tang. Pain really was her favorite feeling. It was sharp and real and it dulled the terrible ache in her chest where her heart might have been.
In the same breath, she stole Eme's rage, fear, and despair. It would leave her feeling numb and hollow, and no matter how she tried, she would be unable to elicit any emotion without Jes stealing it away. Even her tears would cease, no matter how she wished to shed them.
"It's much better to be numb. To feel nothing at all," Jes told her softly. She tugged Eme's manacled hands up so they were clearly visible and caressed her right index finger. Her hold on Eme's finger changed to a more solid grip, and she twisted sharply. Snap. The destinct sound of bone breaking like a dry branch. She moved to the next finger. Snap. The next. Snap. Snap. Snap. She broke them all methodically, eliciting sickening crunches of bone on bone. But, of course, Eme would feel nothing. "You're mine, now, and you'll only feel what I want you to feel,"
Jes grinned in a satisfied manner. The real fun of this technique was feeding the victim emotions that weren't their own. The best part was that they'd be unable to tell if what they felt was theirs or not. This usually destroyed humans, but Jes had never had the opportunity to test it out on a shinigami.
Retrieving her dagger from the rock, and sheathing it, Jes ran a hand down Eme's neck as she bent her thoughts on a single emotion: lust. The shadows coiled inside of Eme responded at once, filling the girl's body with hollow desire.
