He understood what Hyo meant, obviously, and wrote something that most probably was his name, but...
...but he couldn't read it.
He shifted his head, first left, then right, as if doing so would make the writing more understandable.
Tough chance.
He was almost sure the first two symbols were something, that the Kind Spirit showed him on the last engrish lesson, but he wasn't sure which ones were they, and what in the world they meant.
Four symbols... This boy must have a really long name...
Hyo tried to remember them as much as he could. Then he might ask Raai next time, and then he'll know.
Unless he remembers them wrong.
He smiled at the boy apologetically, and next to his name, wrote his own. Maybe the view of the foreign symbols will show him where's the problem.
When the boy showed one of the exits of the garden, Hyo nodded quickly. Yes, the faster they get out of this fearsome place, the better. He stood up...
...and almost jumped in surprise, as his bare foot touched the grass. Oh no, he completely forgot...
He took his torn slipper, and showed to the young man, making sure that he'll notice that it can't be worn like this. Oh well, either he'll be able to help him fix it, or the way back will be really, really long...
