Mareike raised an eyebrow at the new nickname but figured it was only fair, the boy had a hard time talking expecting him to handle her name would be cruel.
Mareike eyed the white clothes and wondered if perhaps the techs had torn Pepper's clothes of trying to get hold of him or if he'd done it himself. Either way the white coated bastards had clearly frightened the kid so much he felt the need to attack anyone bigger than him. it went against everything Mareike believed in, to torment those weaker than you.
Listening slowed she turned her head to growl in the directions of the techs voices." It's ok Now I'm mad at them. You wanna chase them?" her orange eyes glittered with the possibility of a good hunt and the chance to take her built up frustration out on a bunch of the low lifes who pretended they were just good little doctors making babies for science. They might be weaker than her but they had broken the rules.

Pepper looked her over a moment and then back over his shoulder. If he had a tail it would of been swishing in interest, chase them? He had technically already had dun with them...they had been chasing him because he had managed to rip a good chunk of a technicians lab coat. The mangled scrap of cloth was proof of that.
"Chase? I chased...game boring." He announced though he was liking her more and more the fact she offered to chase them was interesting to him. Smiling up at her he raised his hands at her indicating he wanted up.

Mareike sighed disappointed in pepper's lack of interesting in getting revenge on the techs, still it was maybe for the best. If they caused too much trouble that a*****e might show up and she was in no mood to deal with him today.
Mareiked looked at the boy and shook her head she was not carrying him, fire off his hand was still stick if clean , secondly he looked awkward to try and hold and most importantly she still didn't quite trust him

Those golden eyes peered up at her in a quizical manner. As if confused to why she wouldn't pick him up so he lowered his arms and then scuttled closer to her. He sniffed her leg, at the bite marks in her boot. Perhaps she was angry that he chewed on her shoe? Giving a shrug as it caused him little concern he circled around to her back and then reaching out he struck her calf.
With a scurry of claws he backed up a couple of steps...looking ready to flee a smile on his face his eyes wide pupils wide. Like a kitten playing cat and mouse. He was ready for anything.

Mareike glared again at Pepper, that little brat had hit her and after she'd been nice to him too. The way he smiled though and with the lack of aggression coming off him it was clearly meant as play. as much as she wanted to blame he she couldn't after all she;s been a rough player as a child too or so her father said.
With superior speed to the small boy she lunged forward and did indeed pick him up the the waist and held him high in the air and away from her body. " You are a little monster" she informed him. A skirt pulling, cake ruining, demanding monster.

Pepper's hadn't expected her to suddenly lunge...completely caught off guard he suddenly found himself being held in the air his limps dangling as he gave her a blank look as she spoke. At the words he only grinned and then reached for her with all his might.
He for ..some reason wasn't fond of being hung in the air...and thus the closes thing to latch onto was the girl. Perfect. He was liking her more and more.
"Mar! Mar! close!" He chanted as he reached his fingers towards her.

Mareike rolled her eyes and settled him carefully onto her hip " Don't touch my hair or my wings." She warned him. There were certain things the girl was just not going to tolerate and sticking fingers on either of those parts of her were one of them.

Happy to FINALLY be against her he immediately looked at her hair and then craned his neck to look at her wings. They were pretty. She said no touch...and it made it REALLY hard to not want to touch them. So instead he touched her face. A light stroke with his thumb as if he was inspecting her skin.
No one had skin like his...he found it weird. Luthor had some scales...but they weren't like his at all. If you could call them that. Shifting he continued to look her over, her skin tone was right her ears were the same..but he didn't have wings...and she had three eyes. PLus..
He looked down and poked. Yes..he poked a boob. He always found those interesting...though he hadn't met many women..he noticed they all were different sizes.

Mareike found Pepper's stony pebbling to remind her a great deal of the ones on Taylor and she wondered if they shared one of the same parent's. She'd have asked him but she doubted the boy had a clue what really went on here never mind which demons were used to make him.
She founds his petting of her face weird but tolerable for now.
The second his finger pressed into her breast however the girl squeaked and released him " What the hell don;t do that you pervert" she yelled. The maroon skin girl blushed, oh gods that was creepy why did boys have to do that, why did she have to have them?

Pepper was let go and he fell to the ground with a thud. His butt hurt, but he didn't cry out or snarl. He just looked at her confused before moving to poke her boot.
"Why drop? Heavy?" He didn't understand the word Pervert...it was new to him. He went to stand up tilting his head as he then latched himself to her leg.
"Me likes you."

Mareike sighed and started down at Pepper who was once again attached to her leg " You're not heavy you're a pest." Maybe not a pervert since he didn't seem to know better but still that had been weird.
" You're ok though I guess, you just need to learn manners" the maroon skinned girl refused to admit to liking the bitey, touchy little kid just yet though.

It was obvious he knew what manners were suppose to be by his smirk.
"Manners...lost on me....many say so." He replied as he chewed on the hem of her skirt tugging on it like a puppy. Releasing it he smiled up at her.
"Play! Play! Yes?" He exclaimed happily to find someone else other than Luthor to play with. Though the boy was fun enough to torment he would like to play more rough. And in his mind the bigger you were the more you could take.

When Mareike left later she was so leaving a bill at the front desk , she wanted a replacement skirt and boots, possibly more at the rate Pepper seemed to be intent on destroying or at east mildly damaging her clothes.
" What do you want to play" she asked figuring she could humour the boy a little longer before making her escape. Besides if she didn't keep him occupied he'd probably get himself locked up for attacking the techs.

Pepper wasn't sure what kind of game, as it were he knew very few.
"Wrestle! Lets wrestle!" He stated eagerly, he loved rough housing with Luthor...even if the other one tended to be more fragile. This girl though, she looked tough.
He tugged on her skirt again lightly as if trying to egg her on. Apparently he also didn't understand the concept of being rather overpowered by the girl easily.

Mareike laughed but nodded, the hallway might not be the best place for it but no one was likely to get between the two the stop it and the one person she thought might deserved to be caught in the crossfire.
" Fine, but you're going to lose" she warned him and dropped into a crouch so as not to completely overwhelm him. She doubted the boy would be a huge fight but she wanted to give him something of a chance, beside the longer she fought the better she felt even if she did get mad.
She bared her teeth at him and grinned " Good luck."
