"Oh come on, even you have to admit that girl was crazy stalker material. I seriously think she was going to follow me home. Besides, you could do worse for a fake gay lover than me." Aaron gave a teasing smile, grabbing the hand Mikalos had wiped his mouth with and held up to his own lips. He licked the trace of blood from Mikalos' hand before replying to him. "I wouldn't worry too much about her; it's not the first time she's gone lone wolf on us. But it still doesn't hurt to check up on her. Should we go find her before we move on to the next bear or after?" Aaron released Mikalos' hand, having had his bit of fun. He crouched by the mostly drained corpse to drink what was left. Mikalos didn't take sloppy seconds; he always wanted to make the kill. That was fine with Aaron, so long as his brother didn't leave him to starve.

Rosalyn felt an odd sensation pooling low inside of her. Julian's voice was triggering some odd emotions and sensations, it scared her, and intrigued her. "Thank you again, Julian", Rosalyn replied, and moved next to him, brushing against him ever so slightly. It felt like a mild electrical charge when she connected with him, yes, Julian was very odd indeed. Rosalyn fed quickly, a bit of her feral side coming out as she did so. Mikalos and Aaron said she looked like a wild cat when she was feeding. Intent on her feeding, but precise and not the least bit wasteful. When she was done she stood back, using a dark red cloth from her pocket to wipe small traces of blood from her face. Her eyes were glowing vaguely, they only burned when she fed on humans, which they didn't do anymore. It caused too much trouble, and they just wanted to live out eternity in peace. "This was a strong one, he was in his prime", Rosalyn said appreciatively, stroking the dead elk as if it were a living pet.
--
Mikalos rolled his eyes at Aaron, but smiled none the less. "Let's let her be for now, if we start checking up on her she's going to get pissed off and I don't want to face that. Vampire or not, she is still a female. And angry females scare the hell out of me...", Mikalos said as he watched Aaron finish off the carcass. Mikalos sniffed the air and tensed as she tried to catch the trail of a nice young bear, the older ones took too long. He tended to play with his food before he actually ate it. "Then we can go round up our dear ah..sister...and Have some fun", Mikalos finished.

Julian smiled at Rosalyn's affection for her meal. Though why she was drinking elk was beyond him. There were far too many humans in the world, what harm would it do to remove a few every month? Nothing could compare to the taste of a human's blood at it's peak of adrenaline. But why was Rosalyn feasting upon animals?
"Why do you drink from such lowly beasts? They are not worthy of a beauty such as yourself. Humans are abundent at this time. Yet you do not drink from them. Why is that?"
Julian gauged the reaction of the woman, truly curious as to why she feasted upon beasts and not man.

Rosalyn's mouth curved into a small smile at his words. She'd had to explain it before to other nomad vampires coming through their territory, it was simple. "We live here. Not with the humans of course, it would be too tempting. But we live just past the edge of the forest, the way humans do. We are comfortable here and if humans were to start disappearing it could cause trouble for us", Rosalyn explained. Julian's words brought a dull ache to her throat though, yes, human blood was by far the most delicious taste. "I..I haven't had human blood in decades..", Rosalyn said. Perhaps he was right..maybe just one..just once a month..No. It was too risky. Julian was giving her urges she'd kept repressed for such a long time, it was disturbing for them to the come up to the surface like that. "Julian, would it seem strange to you if I said you looked very familiar?", she asked, trying to get her mind and stomach off human blood.

Aaron licked his lips clean of blood, then rose to his feet and watched Mikalos with a bemused smile. He could help search out their next prey, but he honestly thought Mikalos would enjoy it more if he found it himself. It wasn't something Aaron understood or even really tried to. He hunted because he wanted to eat; there was very little enjoyment in it for him. Was it because he was so much younger than the others? Was there something about the hunt that he just didn't understand because he'd yet to experience it? His mind was still on humans; the heat of their dancing bodies, the thunder of their music, the salty tang of their sweat. Who needed to drink them to enjoy them?

Julian smiled at Rosalyn. She had forgotten after all this time. He couldn't blame her. It had been over a century since they last met. But it still saddened him that she didn't think about him as much as he though of her.
"I will do my best to avoid hunting in this area, for your sake m'lady. And no, it would not seem strange at all. Why ever do you ask?"
Julian was glad that she hadn't completly forgotten him. It would have hurt him to know he was so easy to forget.

Rosalyn felt like she should say more, tell him what was on her mind. "Almost a century ago, I was involved in a large scale attack. I was visiting another small clan of vampires. We were attacked by a group of human hunters, they had slayers with abnormal powers for humans. I was hurt in my escape. I lost portions of my memory... I just wondered if you were part fo one of those blanks.." Roslayn explained quietly. It was in that attack that she had also found Aaron and Mikalos, the only other survivors. That battle had bonded them permanently together as a family. They would gladly sacrifice themselves for the others. She started to reach out towards him but let her hand drop. "I'm sorry..My mouth runs away with me sometimes..", Rosalyn said, her eyes deep and swirling with so many questions and wonders.
---
Mikalos sighed and nodded, pointing northeast to where a bear was riffling around in the bushes. "We'll do whatever you want tonight Aaron. I'm sure Rosalyn won't mind, she hasn't been out in a long time." Mikalos said.
((We need hunters!!! @.@))

"Try not to sound so put out. We'll have fun. Promise." Aaron lifted his nose to the air, catching the scent of the bear. Then he crouched and loped off to the side to flank the bear cub. The bear seemed to sense something was wrong and raised its head. Aaron slowed his movements, drawing closer quietly. He just wanted to get in the right position before starting the chase. Maybe he should let Mikalos stay home after all, if he could at least get Rosalyn to go... Mikalos would just pout all night. Which was counterproductive since girls loved a sulky stranger in a dark corner. Mikalos could get so much play if he weren't so busy being miserable.

Julian chuckled at her confusion. So That was why she didn't remeber him. It made sense. Many a good vampire had died by thoes slayers hands that evening. He remeber it well. A few of his closer companions had left the world that night, though he had little reason to mourn thier demise. Julian always distanced himself from anyone he worked with, in case something like what happened that night happen again.
"I am sorry to hear about your memories. I hope they return at some point. Do you think they may come back if I stayed around?"
Julian had found Rosalyn, so he did not have to head anywhere else. Thier past was his reason for a future.

Rosalyn would have blushed if she still had the ability to do so. She stepped closer to Julian and stared up into his eyes. "So you were there...", This time Rosalyn did not resist the urge to touch. It was non-threatening, her hand just barely flitting across the cold, marble smooth flesh of his cheek. Her hand drop, and she had the grace to look abashed. "You can stay as long as you like, we have another room at the house..But if you're going to hunt humans, be careful" Rosalyn said after clearing her throat. "Then you can help me remember", She added.
---
Mikalos wasn't interested in humans, especially not their females. He had done his flirting and flashy youthful exploiting when he was human. It seemed pointless now that he was immortal. He all ready had the people he was going to spend the rest of his life with. Mikalos circled around, approaching the other young bear from another angle, he was hungry enough still that he could devour a whole bear himself, he guessed he had taken too long too hunt again.

Once Mikalos was ideally positioned, Aaron charged the cub with a growl, frightening it into flight. The chase was on and he stopped thinking about his plans for the rest of the night. For the moment at least he had something more pressing and urgent on his mind. "This one ought to give you a good run, Mikalos! it is a bit faster than the last one!" Aaron called out as he chased after the creature.

Julian smiled at Rosalyn's embaresment. He gently lifted her hand in his and bent down to gently place his lips on her hand. He released her hand slowly and lifted his head, smiling as he did.
"Thank you for the chance to get to know you again. I am sure it will be a pleasure staying with you."

Rosalyn nodded and gestured towards the east side of teh forest. "My ah..brothers..are ou there hutning still. We were all about to go out and have some more human style fun. If you would like to come with us, you're more than welcome. But you may want to change into something less conspicuous...We have plenty of clothes..it accumulates over the centuries,", Rosalyn said, seemingly all in one breath. Julian just threw her off her balance, which she was not used to. "Mikalos and Aaron will be happy to have another male in the ouse. You all will further outnumber me...", Rosalyn added, glaring through the trees aiming her silent glowering at the boys she could not see.
---
Mikalos shuddered and looked around. "Something feel different..I think we should go find our dear sister now..", Mikalos said suddenly. He'd been hearing too many nasty rumors of a hunting group in their near by city playground of chouce. He didn't want to have to move again, orr worse yet, fight and possibly loose himself or his family. He refused to go through that again. "Come on Aaron..The sooner we get to her the sooner we can get out into the city!", Mikalos urged.
((We have some hunters now! Woot!))

Mikalos was actually encouraging him to hurry up and ditch the hunt so they could go party like humans? Aaron did not argue, but he did have to ask. "What is wrong, Mikalos? This sudden change of heart is not like you. And I am not so blinded by my desire to do as I please that I will simply neglect to notice how uncharacteristic your sudden enthusiasm is." Aaron smirked, thinking Mikalos truly did believe he was that easily distracted. It was almost insulting, really, but somehow he found he did not mind. Aaron started back in the direction they had last seen Rosalyn, expecting Mikalos would accompany him. "I am not all that young, you know. I haven't been susceptible to 'Look! A shiny thing!' since I was old enough to realize girls do not have some sort of boy eating germs after all."
