Mika'il felt relieved and listened to Mufasa. He nodded his head in agreement, "It is nice to have water so close, at least you don't have to worry about the lack of it."

He was beating around the bush and could feel it in his stomach. "I have a question to ask you. Would you be willing to accept my friend and I into the pride? I've been traveling with my friend and she's been searching for a place to stay, a place that'll accept her and she feels that this is the place. I just don't like to wander around in someone's land before getting permission."

(Kana and I are joining, just to have our two lions explore around together.)

Zuri'ramla kept her pace slow so as her friend, Hijiku would keep up with her pace. They had been walking for a time, both deciding together that they would travel together in search of Zuri's sister that had been missing for quite a time. They had just recently left the Southlands, where the two met, and found themselves gaining ground on a watering hole. Upon closer inspection, Zuri noticed that there was a little gathering of adult males....that was interesting. A watering hole was always a good meeting place, better then most, but the odd colourings of one lion amazed Zuri, though she schooled herself to not show any suprise at all; she herself was of an odd colouring and markings. And she used that to her advantage more then anything. Men were fascinated by then, and girls were just amazed. She enjoyed the attention.

But this time around, she wasn't looking for any attention. She just wanted a drink, a little question as to where they were and if they had run across the icy-blue lioness, and then perhaps her and Hijiku would be on their way to another land.

Hijiku's pace quicken to catch up on Zuri. He had stopped walking to have a better look at something further back. As he arrvied close next to her, his dark eyes brushed along the watering hole. It seemed like there was a gathering of lions, discussing. He couldn't quite hear what they were saying, but in all honesty he didn't really care either. He was on his guards. He was only an adolescent yes, but he wouldn't let that be his weakness. Hijiku looked over at Zuri from the corner of his eyes and then turned his attention back onto the gathering of lions. One of them had green markings. Which was somewhat very different, but Zuri was just as colorful too. He doubt it would come to do anything in their research for her sister. Perhaps these lions had seen her pass by?

((Ugh for lousy posts gonk ))

"Hmmm?" -Mufasa's ears pivoted softly, keeping with Mika'il as he spoke, though his eyes touched the female in the distance. By the time the large male beside him had finished however his eyes were settled back on Mika'il. Nodding a little lightly to the request, Mufasa shifted up to his feet again, walking forward far enough to dip his front paws into the water.-

"You're more then welcome to find a home within the Pridelands. A bigger 'family' is never a bad thing for a pride."

Mika'il smiled to Mufasa in happiness. Dipping his head, "Thank you so much, Mufasa. This place sure does feel like home to me." His tail flicked as he got up to leave, letting the others get a chance to speak with the king. He glanced back before leaving, "I hope we see each other again." He then looked to the two newcomers and gave them both a smile before heading out to find Na'ilah, who was still with the queen.

Zuri watched as the black and green lion gave them a smile before wandering off. What was that for? She didn't think much of it, but it made her curious. Perhaps the first lands that her and Hijiku had come across were friendly to strangers. That would be a comforting thought. She'd heard of a land that never was kind to strangers, and was nervous with each new, unknown step they took.

She gave Hijiku a small nod before she herself took a cautious step towards the watering hole, parched and wanted a deep, long drink. She was sure that between the two of them, they wouldn't take enough water to anger the lions that were still around. They seemed unthreatening...

-Watching the other male leave he nodded in a soft goodbye, before settling himself again, puffing up just a little before giving his long mane a stern shake.

Glancing over to the unfamilar lions, he pondered for a moment, staying still as he thought over how sad it was, that he as the king didn't know anymore exactly who was and wasn't part of his ever growing pride. Maybe it was his old age.. or maybe just all the time he was spending teaching the little heiress. Hopefully Kami would better at it when her time came.

Running his tongue lightly against his golden fur, he shrugged off the notion, offering a soft greeting towards the others, before he lowered his head again, tongue against his forearm.-

Hijiku observed them green colored lion smile at them, but he didn't return it. His facial expression remained neutral. He nodded back at Zuri and fallowed her steps. His tail was slowly flicking behind him, his eyes wandering around. Even though so far the place looked friendly, Hijiku was still suspicious. It almost looked too good to be true. The first land they had decided to go through wasn't going to give them trouble? Well for that to be sure, they would have to wait and see.

Hijiku looked over at Zuri and lowered his voice. "Did you want to ask them about your sister? Or we just drink a bit and keep on going through these lands...?" he asked. It didn't really matter to him either way, he was with Zuri to explore different lands, and perhaps grow more friendly around her. After all these years, he felt like he needed someone he could count on, and someone that could count on him...

Zuri was unsure of herself....since she seemingly was pushed to a leader status. But, she'd live. She was strong, and she'd work as best she could to find her sister. Even if time had calmed her heart, she was still determined, even if that meant it would take many moons to find Barafu'malkia.

She proudly stepped forward towards the aging male, and gave him a deep bow, one foreleg laying in front, the other folded up underneath her. She slowly pulled herself up to speak easier, and perhaps seem more like she was on equal ground of this unknown lion, and not anything lower.

"'Lo there, dear stranger. We have found ourselves in these lands that are foreign to us, and we are curious as to know if there was a name attached to these lands?"

Hijiku fallowed Zuri's movements and gave a bow as well. She seemed to know exactly what she was doing, therefore he thought wise to do like she was. His eyes looked to the ground as she bent down, then back up as he pushed himself up into a normal standing position. His gaze landed on the older lion sitting in front of them. He looked stronger and very wise, for that Hijiku didn't let his eyes drift off of him, in case he tried anything on them. Even though he knew he wasn't as strong, he was determinated to protect Zuri with all he had. His ears perked back lightly as he heard the lioness next to him, speak softly.

Surprisingly to him, she didn't ask if he had seen any lioness resembling her sister. Perhaps she wanted to make him feel comfortable around them before asking anything so specific...

((Sorry for the wait my dear, my weekend was a little overwhelming to say the least @_@ ))

-Mufasa shuffled a little, taking his attention off of his bath and directing it towards the young pair, finding soft pleasure in the girl's question. Didn't even know where they were? Well that was a new one. Offering a mild nod of the head in acknowledgement he pondered over the question for a moment.- "Traveling far enough that you don't even know where you've gone? Must be quite the adventure."

-Offering a hint of a smile, he motioned back past his aubern mane.- "Let me be the first to welcome you to the Pridelands then. Is there.. anywhere you're looking for? I know the Pridelands and those that strech around them relitively well."

((I apologize for taking a pathetic amount of time in replying. sweatdrop ))

Zuri blinked at him, intrigued as to his reply. This lion was obviously very intelligent, for he seemed to pick up right off that she wasn't from anywhere around here...which made her feel uncomfortable. She wasn't used to having the tables turn on her, as far as she was concerned. Of course, she trained herself enough to not show any of the discomfort, but it made her cautious about what she'd say.
"Why yes, I am not from around here. I hail from lands far in the north, though certain circumstances have found me in these lands that my paw has never touched."

She had given him another slight bow, her ear twitching as she brough herself back up. She swished her tail on the ground behind her, feeling comforted with Hijiku next to her to press on her matter.
"You seem quite knowledgable, dear friend. I am on a quest of sorts, searching for one of my pride." Her tail grew still as she moved on to a mild description. "I'm looking for a lioness, aged two summers more then I, one that is as blue as the sky in the daytime, quiet and shy in nature."

User ImageThe chocolate lioness rolled to her side, her mouth parting in a long yawn as she roused herself from a nap. Her stomache seemed to have joined in the waking with an irritated groan and a pinch to her gut. She sneered at the sound, glancing around shortly in fear that someone had heard her make such a sound. Licking her chops, the young lioness got to her feet and stretched herself out. It seemed she'd have to hunt something today. She was old enough now to accompany the other lionesses on a hunt though for today she debated just getting a hare for herself.

She licked at her chops once more in hopes of ridding her mouth of the pastey dry feeling. It seemed water would be the first stop. Rehema smoothely picked her way down from the den to the savanah, lifting her head as she paced gracefully towards the water hole. It seemed a good number of lions had already arrived there, much of the prey beasts had backed away from the water source to allow the preditory cats their drink.

"Good afternoon." She said respectfully as she joined the others, crouching down to lap up a few mouthfuls of water.

Zuri had not noticed the youth that had joined them in their gathering. Her golden eyes glanced over at the dark, chocolate-coloured girl. Her colouring was very flattering, her eyes a rich-rose colour. She was intrigued by this lioness, for her colourings certainly did not match the elder lion that she was convering with. Were they of the same pride?

Instead of speaking she gave the brown lioness a bow, to be polite and acknowledge her presence. Zuri's tail swished on the ground and her attention returned to her companion, and the elder, to whom she didn't know his name yet.
