I find the new CD amazing, as for them losing their creativity, no they're not.
In case you haven't noticed, the names of their albums are like... oxymorons.
Dark Light Dark vs. Light
Love Metal Love vs. Hate
Razorblade Romance Death vs. Life
Greatest Love Songs Vol.666 Love Songs vs. Mark of the Beast
I find Ville and the boys extremely creative, maybe your fandom for the band is just dying. You need to go on a HIM journey and find your fandom again 3nodding
As for the songs, they've brilliant as always. But, I believe in a way, since Jonna has come into Ville's life he's kind of mellowed out his lyrics a bit and made them more about love. ^_^ But that's just me. I love the new CD. Ranking them I say.

As for the albums, I love them all exactly the same. smile And for the millionth time, I adore the song Dark Light and I don't really care if you don't agree with me. I've been listening to HIM for 10 years xd My mum is from Finland, she grew up with Ville in Helsinki, no I haven't met him, but I hope too someday xd Mum says if they ever come into concert near us she'll get VIP passes and we can go backstage for a reunion xd

Sdly though, i ABSOLUTLY HATE THE SONG DARK LIGHT!!! its sooo...ugh...i hate it. Everything else is the s**t. And darling, i belive the line is "Forever we are, Forever we've been, Forever we'll be crucified to a dream" But thats okay, everyone makes mistakes. I also love the line "Venus denies your seven towers above dark waters....venus denies you and your dark waters, the moon kissed the sun and now we, hold her, in our blood" and "the blood on our hands is the wine.." and "with hell freezing over in our eyes, gods kneel before our crime" and "Tears will turn from sweet to sour, and hours to days..". And personaly, im glad that HIM sort of reinvente their sound each album. That way we all always get to hear something wonderful and new!
and, darling, don't worry, Ville is EVERYONES god....

And I would also like to tell you that I evnvy you with every particle in my body....Because my version doesnt have Venus (In Our Blood). wow, ive never been that envied...well, see if you know someone with the special edition CD, cause every HIM fan needs to hear that song. It is amazing. but i got the special edition and i don't even have that song

I think the main reason everyone hates it is because it's their 'MTV' album, and for some reason people need to hate mainstream stuff.
In the Night Side of Eden is gorgeous, how can you not love it? crying
