Nyl moved as if to spray him with water, but then remembered she had no chakra here. She wondered if she could still call her fire, but decided to save that. This sounded more exciting.
She sat down in the long grass, closing her eyes and looking inside herself. It was different, seeing inside her spirit without any self--human or phoenix--to get in the way. She recognized first all the things she knew were within her, the colored lights of the good and the bad.
I don't see any ribbons...
She kept going, still finding nothing unfamiliar. Her mind wandered a bit, considering whether this spirit was three thousand years old like the phoenix was, or only eighteen, like she was.
There was something. It didn't look right, but it didn't look wrong, either. She reached for it, becoming frustrated when it was continually just outside her reach.
These still aren't ribbons. They're balls of colored light...
She reached farther, stretching the limits of her spirit self. She brushed against the one she was reaching for and shivered. It was different. She felt herself close around it--it was in easy reach now--and rushed back out to herself, opening her eyes as she fell over sideways in the grass out of general clumsiness.
In the grass in front of her was a sword.

She pulled herself up using his hand, then bent over and picked up the sword, studying it.
So I can't do this if I'm not entirely a spirit?

Not to my knowledge. I know that I cant do it. But mine is usually with me when I jump out of my body. Luckily, I don't have to summon it every time.

Shiro jerked awake, thinking he had seen something happen with the pond. Deciding it was nothing of importance, He decided to go back to his nap.

((Shiro was mean and made me post here with him,so I am.Oh,snap.))
She wandered through the wilderness,not really paying all that much attention.Sure,it was a stupid thing to do,seeing as she hadn't much of a clue where she was,but she couldn't care less.But it was a rather pretty surrending area,and she couldn't help but be transfixed by the colours of the butterflies and such-she really did have a short attention span.
The leaves rustled around her,and birds sang in the air.She decided that this was a nice,unknown place.
A pond loomed suddenly in front of Risa.Wow,she thought,scratching her head,never saw that coming.She walked up to its edge,humming a slight tune.She was in such a happy mood,for no particular reason.
Her walk around brought her upon the sleeping form of a figure.Grinning like an idiot,she circled quietly around him,bending down so that her mouth was right next to his ear.Taking a deep breath,she yelled as loud as she could,directing the sound right into his eardrum.
Well.Job well done.

Her yell signalled Shiro, who was waiting in a nearby tree. Within seconds he had his arm around Risa's neck and a kunai just inches from her back. Shiro's shadow clone continued to sleep.
"Who are you?"

She blinked a few times up at him,understanding registering in her face."Ah.Shadow clones,right?You're smart.If I wasn't such an airhead,I probably would've noticed that."She shifted her weight around a bit,trying to find a comfortable position;the task was fairly difficult,seeing as he had his wrapped tightly around her neck,and a kunai digging into her back.
"Why should I tell you who I am?"She closed her eyes for a moment,and then whistled sharply.It seemed like an odd thing to do,yes,but she had a reason.
"I'm Risa."

Shiro kept the kunai in place for a bit. She didn't seem like the dangerous type. But, then again, the dangerous ones never do.

"Well,I wouldn't have expected you too.I'm one of those easy to ignore types,y'know."
She paused for a momnent,and then added,"I believe you should return the favour,and enlighten me on who you are."She kicked her foot around a bit,her head swiveling around.It appeared as though she was looking for something.
"Eee."She squeeked slightly,as her eyes lit on something she wanted to see.An animal was approaching them,and it was apparnt that she recognized it.The cat continued to approach them,and Risa stuck a hand out,wiggling her fingers towards it."
