Sorry, I just checked out that website, and it seems that it will be like WoW with Realm vs. Realm. That's a shame. In my opinion, that was the worst part of WoW. I wanted to be Horde but my friend Alliance. However, in Dark Age of Camelot, I heard they had 3 kingdoms. Maybe it'll be like that, where they have a realm for each army. That'll definitely cut out lots of armies (starting with Lizardmen and Dark elves, since they live so far away). We're probably looking at Chaos, Empire, and Orcs and Goblins. Maybe Dwarves, though those might be part of Empire.

Why not wait until more info is made available before jumping to wrong conclusions right from the start. If I want fictional game info, I'll visit either Gamefaqs or IGN.

then again it could just be another corny starcraft remake sorta thing like dawn of war was just with like, empire being the main ones like the terran, beasts of chaos/ lizards/ skaven replacing zerg, and one of the elves replacing the protoss. that would be kinda lame. but it would be kinda cool to watch simulated chaos and empire armies going at it hehehe.

Um, no. It won't be an RTS game, it'll be RPG. Yeah, the RTS is Mark of Chaos and will be more Rome: Total War style. 3nodding More on topic, it really is a shame that they're starting from scratch. The last group had some awesome ideas on how to make things feel more like being in the warhammer world. Like the magic system. And the enemy camp-making system was pretty awesome too. 3nodding

Of course, I'm not the kind of person to spend $15 a month to play a video game. I buys games, but I don't pay monthly fees. I have enough of those as it is, thank you very much. wink

Check the trailer over at Fileplanet peeps. It may not be ingame footage but it should be enough to get your blood boiling for action. All I can say is that Orc siege warfare is the bomb!

The Goblin Squig herder sounds hilarious. Apparently he gets devoured by the squig whose rage you then get to direct.
But the Orks look like they should have more classes cause I heard they only have 2 units. The Black Orc and another warrior like class that jumps in and out of combat and throw tantrums to get more aggro on them.

from all that ive heard is that if you play DAoC and have an active account, you get a free spot on the beta. its pretty much everything you like about both DAoC and WOW, such as the horses to take you around, mounts(i believe), the PVP is going to be like both games' battle grounds... in DAoC it is slow moving and strategy based, but in
WOW its fast paced killing based. so this will be fast and strategic. also you can take cities, yes whole cities, as in go to another realm and take a city. so as it sounds, it is going to be the best MMO ever... i cant wait for it..... oh and brookman... its mythic, not trying to sound like an a**... it just might be easier to find info if they had the right name
