Archer blinked. "Perhaps." he said thoughtfully. "But I believe he'd only know of them if they could be used to kill somebody." He looked at the plants. They looked fairly harmless. "Even if he did, he isn't real, unfortunately for us." He looked around the gardens thoughtfully. They looked well-tended. Who took care of them?
He remembered meeting a woman in the gardens once with Estrelas. She had looked fairly worried at Estrelas planting there. Perhaps she was the one? Maybe. Archer didn't go into the gardens often, and his knowledge of exactly how many other members of LOTUS there were and who they were was quite limited. He was not a social butterfly.
"Perhaps whoever takes care to the gardens would know." he said thoughtfully. "Do you know who tends to them, Miss Delgerdzaya?"

Del shook her head gingerly. "No, I not know." she said, frowning slightly. She bent down and poked at one of the buds before picking herself up again. "Whoever take care of garden has very good hands." she said, nodding her head. "Flowers seem happy. That good, yes yes." Sighing, Del's face fell taut due to boredom.
"Archer play game, yes yes?" she questioned. Del was always one to be childish at heart. To her, playing games was always a good way to pass the time, no matter how old one was.

Archer nodded. The garden was impressive.
Then he couldn't think of anything else to say. The downside of trying to be polite when one was also naturally reclusive was that one also became boring. Grumpy people and rude people were much more interesting than Archer was. He was pleasant, polite, and found that this ocassionally made him seem dull as stale fruitcake, although, unlike stale fruitcake, you probably couldn't use him as a doorstop.
Probably. You'd need to ask him first anyway, at least.
So when Delgerdzaya offered to play a game, Archer leapt upon the idea gratefully. "Yes, that sounds like a marvellous idea." he said warmly. "What sort of game did you have in mind?"

Del bent her head to he side, putting her finger to her lip in a thinking pose. "Not sure..." she spoke as she turned towards Archer. "What game does Archer know from..." Del questioned before coming out with another question. "Where Archer from?" It was not long before Del reached into the side pouch that dangled along her waist and pulled out a small handful of dry seeds. A snack Del always carried around with her, they were seeds taken and dried in the sun when the fruit around it was stripped and eaten. Del never really cared for the fruit as it always bared a sour taste as if it were unripe, though it grew all year long. Del always had the notion of burying the fruit in the garden's soil, though she never told anyone.
Offering the direction of the pouch towards Archer, Del chewed silently. Light crunches erupted from her mouth as she chewed. The seeds were quite hard, meaning they were old.

Archer could not remember his childhood in England. He could not remember any of his past at all. Luckily, he HAD read about England obsessively. He knew what people played. Oh yes. "Well..." he said thoughtfully, "I hail from England, and in England there's Lookabout, that's where one of us hides an item and the other has to find it. You really need more than two, I suppose though. There's Smile, in which one of us tries to get the other to smile, then if the other smiles they have to be 'it'. There's Charades, where one of us has to act something out and the other person must guess it... There's the Riddle Game, where one of us must think up a riddle and the other must solve it." Those were all Archer could think of that could be played with just two people. "Where are you from, Miss Delgerdzaya? What sort of games do they have there?"

Del nodded her head as Archer listed the name and explanation of each game. Most games he listed were similar in Mongolia except they held different names. "Well." said Del as she thought again. "There many games similar in Mongolia. But they some different games also." Del paused for a bit to lightly clear her throat. "There is the Herd game. The one to gather sheep quickest into pen wins. There is Run Game. It almost like race, where two run against each other. However, first to fall loses." Del look another pause.
She knew she couldn't play the Herd Game as there seemed to be any sheep nearby and the Run Game didn't seem to be advantageous as one of them might get hurt. Del thought again before spouting, "And there is the Silent Game. The first to speak, no matter what is, they lose."

Archer nodded. "Shall we play the Silent game?" he asked. He was good at being silent. He was practically an expert. "So are there any other rules?" he asked. He was feeling in the mood for a game, and it surprised him. Maybe it was something about the playful mood of Miss Delgerdzaya. He felt the urge to amuse her. After all, he thought, it was very much one of the duties of a proper gentleman.

Del nodded her head. "Sound like plan!" she yipped happily before cupping her hand over her mouth. "We not start yet...Heh. Okay, start...now." she added as she removed her hand from her mouth. Del grinned and nodded her head as she searched for a place to sit. It had been quite a while since she played the Silent game and in truth, she always lost. She wasn't going to lose this time however.
Taking a seat between a pair of flowers she did not know the name of once more, she held her knees up. She folded her hands over her legs and silently sat as if she were being patient. That was one ideal attribute needed for this game, patience. Well, besides the ability to stay quiet in the first place.

Archer stood across from her, sinking into a cold, gentlemanly silence. He had once gone an entire week without talking. He could DO this. Smiling confidently, he looked around the garden, waiting. Delgerdzaya was waiting as well, sitting primly across from him. She looked serious. Maybe just in case...
Archer twisted his face into a funny expression, trying to make Miss Delgerdzaya laugh. Anything goes, right?

Del tried to stifle a laugh as she moved her folded hands on her lap to her mouth to cover her smile. A duel in funny faces? Del could partake. Puffing her cheeks out in a childish manner, Del crinkled her nose and eyes at the same time. She tried her best to make no sound, loosely letting air out of her mouth to not make a balloon-like wheezing sound.

Archer looked surprised but was not to be outdone. Sticking his tongue out, he twisted his hands over his eyes so he looked like and owl. His cheeks hurt from trying not to smile. If he was going to make funny faces, he was going to make them seriously. To stop himself, he thought about how ungentlemanly it was to laugh at a lady, over and over again. It Was Not Done, therefore Archer could not do it.

Del cupped both her hands over her mouth this time to try and smother out the sound of her laughter. She did squeak slightly, but she was hoping that Archer was oblivious to the sound. Smothering out her dress, she tried to make it such that the sound was something else. She really wished to not lose the game. Del also twisted her head about, trying to make it as if she were making herself comfortable. The accessories dangling about her hair shook, but made no sound.

Archer acted nonchalant, tugging on his sleeves. Looking at the ground, he traced teacups with his toe. He had to time this perfectly. The British were oft considered military geniuses and he was not going to let them down. Goodness, he was a LOTUS agent, after all. He was a secret agent man. Elisive as a shadow! Silent as an owl!
Well, silent as an owl being really quiet.
He counted in his head. Wait until she didn't expect it. Turning around so he didn't face her, he pretended to examine a bush. Look interested in the leaves... Rock back and forth disinterestedly. Aaand... Now!
He jumped around suddenly, facing back at Miss Delgredzaya and waved his hands dramatically. Tactical shock!

Del jumped up with a tiny shriek as it was done. She fell back from her sitting stance, giggling happily. She hadn't been scared like that since her youth. Where has all the fun gone? "Hehe." Del laughed as she clambered to pick herself up. "Archer is winner, yes yes!" Del laughed again before chewing on some more dried nuts she had in her side pouch. What fun that was indeed.

Archer smiled widely. He wasn't sure if winning against a lady was ungentlemanly, but he thought not trying his hardest was probably ungentlemanly too. "You fought very well, Miss Delgerdzaya." he complimented. "It was a close match!" He wondered what time it was. he had planned to work out today. Feeling he should probably excuse himself so he wouldn't put off his exercise once again, he looked apologetically at the Mongolian recruit. "This has all been very pleasant, Miss," he told her, "But I'm afraid I have to depart." He held out a hand to her. "It was wonderful to meet you." he said warmly. "I hope we run into each other again."
