Jasiri'ka laughed as water splashed onto his mane. Immediately, he tried to shake it off, sending droplets of water everywhere. Stopping suddenly, he turned around and using his paw, swiftly swiped at the sea water, sending it flying in Pao's direction. Flicking his tail, the male laughed again; there they are, two grown lions playing with the water... Just like cubs!
As his laugh faded away, Jasiri'ka looked to the horizon and smiled. Then, he turned back to the other orange lion, his tone becoming more serious than a moment ago, when he was playing, "Yeah... Some lions don't allow their cubs to wander too far into the sea, as it can easily pull them out and drown them if they're not careful."
He walked away from the sea and nodded, indicating Pao to follow him back towards dry land, far from the coast where it is not sandy. Laughing, he shook more water off his body, "Well, I think we'll need to groom ourselves later. Its not going to be pleasant, since the water is salty... But I've always thought that it was worth it."
The male smiled, heading towards the higher ground where it is dry. Once out of the sand, he shook himself, sending water droplets flying. Looking at his new friend, Jasiri nodded, "Well... I'm going back now. Remember to get all the salt water out! If not, the water will dry up and its really uncomfortable with the salt in your fur." He grinned, turning around to walk back to his den, "Maybe we'll meet again some time in the future, Pao."
With that, the male vanished into the jungle bordering the Simbafutaji, happy that he had made another friend.
