Rose Marianne Hunter Simplify, I'll stand by your side
"You were thinking it," she said, pointing at Hunter and narrowing her eyes, but still grinning. "Fine, we'll go have a look-see." She rolled her eyes, grabbing her wallet and shoving it in her back pocket, much like a guy would. She would wear the prettiest clothes and makeup but then act like a guy. That would be Rose. She walked up to the two, then past them. She paused at the door, leaning back instead of turning around to look at them. "What, you coming or not?"
Close my eyes, hope will never die!

Singin' my heart out- -just for you. "Of course." Hayden grabbed Hunter by the shirt sleeve and pulled him along, which he didn't mind one bit. Or at least he didn't show it. "So... Where're we gonna go, anyway?" My keyboard rings... ...as I make my strokes.

Rose blinked, looking back at him as she stepped out the door. "Don't ask silly questions," she said, blinking and turning back around, though she was still figuring it out in her head. She glanced up and down the hall before taking off towards the elevator, pushing the top floor button and hoping that they were fast enough to get in before the door closed on them.
Close my eyes, hope will never die!

Singin' my heart out- -just for you. Hayden and Hunter shot each other confused looks, but followed after her anyway. "I didn't figure that was a silly question. Did you?" "Um, not particularly." She shrugged and hurried to hold the door open for him. Noticing the glowing button, she turned to Rose. "Why're we going to the top floor? We're not jumping off the roof, are we? That would certainly pass time, though, wouldn't it?" My keyboard rings... ...as I make my strokes.

"It was a silly question, don't question the silly questions." She stared at the door until Hayden spoke. "No. I don't have any parachutes handy and I'm not dying until I get to play that new set." She hmm'd, not really answered the question fully and waiting until the bell rang as it hit the floor. She stepped out, glancing down the halls both directions in a way that just told you that she was hyper. She looked back over her shoulder for a second before moving off to the right, going to a door at the end of the hall and promptly knocking on it, standing and tapping her foot impatiently, arms crossed.
Close my eyes, hope will never die!

Singin' my heart out- -just for you. Hayden and Hunter glanced at each other again, but said nothing. They knew the basics of how Rose worked, so many years ago they'd learned not to question. Her or her silly questions. They stepped out behind her, then jumped when she suddenly wasn't standing next to them any more. "What are you DOING?!" asked Hunter, already incredibly embarrassed. Hayden jumped to Rose's side quickly, and, thinking on her feet, adopted the exact same pose as her friend. She couldn't wait to see the look on the guy's, or girl's, face when they opened the door. She still wasn't sure what they were really doing there, though. My keyboard rings... ...as I make my strokes.

Rose put a flat expression on her face, more of a no-nonsense face than anything. As soon as the door opened, she went into an interrogation.
"Excuse me, but what is wrong with you? WHERE is the sign on the door? WHERE IS IT?!" The man stared at her, eyes a bit wide with a shocked expression on his face. "I'm perfectly aware you're staying in a suite, but I'm just wondering where your sign is."
"Um...what...sign?"
"The one that warns poor musicians not to knock on your door and demand where the sign is. I mean really. What is your problem?"
"Excuse me...but I have no idea who you are or what you're talking about, so you're going to have to leave." He started to try to close the door, but Rose quickly stuck her foot out, propping it open and leaning in closer, eyes narrowing.
"Excuse me, but you haven't answered my question."

Singin' my heart out- -just for you. Hayden blinked a few times, then broke out laughing, quite loudly. After a few minutes, she suddenly got 'serious-face' and nodded. "So are you going to answer my friend's question, or not? 'Cause we really wanna know, ya know." Hunter, completely baffled, leaned on the wall behind the girls and shook his head, disassociating himself with them mentally. He wondered if Rose was going to start panhandling out of nowhere, considering she mentioned being a poor musician. It would be funny, but he would have to run away before the guy called the cops.My keyboard rings... ...as I make my strokes.

"Just give me any chocolate in the vicinity and I won't call the hotel manager for not having your sign." She sighed as if this was a big hassle, shaking her head and tapping her foot. The man looked ready to protest for a moment, before appartently foregoing that to just get the crazy chick away from him, and disappeared into the suite, returning with a small bag of Dove chocolates, handing it to her. He was rich--he could afford more.
"Thank you, good sir," Rose said, bowing really low, as if she were in Japan and not in New York. She promptly turned on her heel, walking down the hall with the chocolates. As soon as she heard the door shut behind her, she burst out laughing, falling on the ground and rolling around, slapping the floor in hysterics.

Singin' my heart out- -just for you. Hayden bowed as well, as per her training in Japan, and followed Rose quickly down the hall. She laughed along with her friend on the floor, but not quite as much. It was funny, but... "Dude... Extortion's illegal. You're just lucky you only wanted chocolate. ...Say, why did you want that chocolate so badly, anyway?" Hayden had been thinking the same thing. "Yeah, couldn't you have just bought some your own? Oh, and what was all that stuff about the sign? Did you just... THINK that up?"My keyboard rings... ...as I make my strokes.

Singin' my heart out- -just for you. {{Ok, so. We have a new person joining us, and I have an awesome idea of how to give him a starting point. However. That means that I have to leave Rose on the floo laughing. Sorry, but I doubt she'll even notice anyway. Also, because I have more imagination now than I did, I will be reformating my posts, 'cause this is just boring. Thank you for your time; the next post shall be awesome.}} My keyboard rings... ...as I make my strokes.

Singin' my heart out-
-just for you. Hayden Malissa Harper "Heh, have fun with that, Rose. Make sure to share that chocolate when you get back to the room, dude," added Hayden, pointing at her friend as she and Hunter walked past her on the floor. She and Hunter went back over to the elevator, and the older sister pushed the button for the band's floor. On the next floor down, some people got on. Most of them got off on the next floor, but two people who wouldn't stop making out stayed on until the band's floor. "You go ahead, Hunter. I think I'm gonna go to the food court or something." Hunter shrugged and stepped out, keeping a good distance away from the couple. He headed back for the guys' room and opened the door, looking around. There still wasn't anyone there, so he sighed and flopped on his bed. 'Oh, look. There's the remote again...'
---
Hayden turned to look out the glass wall at the people down below. She wasn't totally sure what she was gonna do, but she needed some time for herself. She just hoped she didn't bump into someone from Walking on Glass.
{{Heh, foreshadowing! But I left it open for you to jump in if you want. It'd be great for the bands to start meeting now.}} and her younger brother Hunter. My keyboard rings...

Henry entered the large hotel slowly. He gasped, looking around at the spacious lobby. "Oh, wow." He breathed to himself, eyes wide. He gripped his things a little harder. His duffel bag, slung over his right shoulder, had his clothes, toiletries, etc. His backpack, on the left, held his personal effects. They were a matching, dull blue color that worked well enough with his white dress shirt and blue jeans. But his most noticeable item was the large bass case he held tight in his left hand.
His dirty, white running shoes made little scuffing noises as he crossed the room and approached the stairs. It took him a while, but he finally managed to get up to the band's floor. Breathing a little hard, he pulled the room key from his pocket and checked the room number for the nth time. He approached the door slowly and hesitated.
Do I knock? Or do I just open the door? He stood in front of the door for a minute, paralyzed with indecision. Finally, he made up his mind. He took a deep breath and turned the doorknob quickly. He didn't expect the door to be unlocked, however, and when the door actually opened inward, he nearly fell through the doorway with it. He caught himself, and tumbled to his knees in the doorway, clutching his bass in both arms and silently praising fate that he hadn't dropped it.

Singin' my heart out-
-just for you. Hayden Malissa Harper Hayden sighed as the elevator decended from the top floor, looking out the big glass wall. She wasn't quite sure what she was gonna do, but figured she might get some lunch. The elevator stopped at the bottom floor and she stepped out, looking around at the huge indoor court in the center of the hotel. Across from the front door was a food court, which had a bunch of fast food places. Her vans managed to click on the floor of the court as she made her way to the McDonald's. The cashier gave her a funny look as she ordered a huge lunch, but she simply took her bag (or rather two as it were) and fell onto a couch in the court. She looked up through the glass skylight in teh upper-most ceiling, then glanced across the way. The wall there was glass as well, and just when Hayden was thinking, 'Wow, there's a lot of glass here.', she saw there was someone in the pool. It took her a second to realize he was in the indoor pool and not the outdoor one, but by then she noticed he looked kinda familiar. 'I wonder why...'
---
"Whoa!" Hunter jumped when suddenly the door flew and Henry fell through. "Oh, it's you, Henry. Are you ok? What took you so long to get here, dude?" and her younger brother Hunter. My keyboard rings...

Henry flinched visibly when he heard Hunter's voice. His slowly picked up his head, and his face was flushed bright red. "Oh... Oh, man. Y-You saw that, then... huh?" He stuttered and stumbled over his words as he picked himself up. He tried to smile it off, but really, he was about ready to burst into tears.
"I... I uh... I had some trouble, y'know... getting here..." He walked further into the room. "I forgot the address." He admitted finally. Really, he had remembered the address perfectly. He had just waited in front of the entrance for almost an hour, wondering if he was really allowed to just go inside.
He looked around the room, and his flush worsened a bit. "Oh... Oh no..." He groaned. "Th-there's only two beds..." He shuffled his feet around a little. "I-I can take... take the floor... I guess... I don't mind..." He set his things in a corner by the bathroom. Jason climbed out of the pool and laughed heartily. "Hey, dude, toss me a soda, mmk?" It was too early for many of the hotel guests to be in the pool area; there were only a couple. But around one of the tables, there were a number of members of the hotel staff. On the plain, white table, there was a stereo pouring out a techno beat. One of the men reached into a bright red cooler just beside the table and pulled out a soda can.
Jason caught it without any trouble. He popped it open and drank the whole can without taking a breath. The ladies at the table cheered, and he shot them a cocky grin. "Now, what exactly is going on here?" He mocked the group. "Seems you're all here, drinking my drinks, listenin' to my music, and there's not a one of you dancing!" He reached over and pulled up a young woman, maybe in her twenties.
"C'mon, let's rock it, eh?!" He cheered as the other staff members picked themselves up and started moving, bright grins plastered onto their faces. With expert charm, he leaned back and tapped a couple of buttons on the stereo, and the song changed. Back-up singers sang 'oh' and he tossed the girl he'd been dancing with to a handsome young man.
"Four years, you think 'for sure'! That's all you've got to endure!" He sang out at the top of his lungs as he danced with the others, smiling and moving to the beat. The song was a personal remake he and his buds had done to 'High School Never Ends', and he was singing his heart out.
