There was another slipping sound, and the wet noise of an impact against a wet surface. "N-No, I'm fine," Amelia said breathlessly. She paused, then groaned. "Augh, got it all over me..."

A soft sigh came from within the room. "Oh, I'm sorry. I'll help you clean off. . . It's my fault, I should have paid more attention."

"N-No, it's not your fault, I just need to..." Amelia started. There was a sneeze, then a spluttering noise. "Ick..."

The slight sound of cloth was heard; this would of course be Renault helping wipe the girl off. "Well, all right. . . but it is pretty messy, isn't it?"
A minute later, a shuffling sound could be heard, along with the sound of something being carried. "Oh, that's right. There's one more thing." A sound like a squirt was heard; then Renault spoke again. "Here, you can do this, right?"

"Yeah, it is," she said thoughtfully. Amelia smiled, although this obviously made no noise. "Thank you, Father."
Footsteps again, following to where the squirt was. "Yes, of course!" The noise continued, quieting a little. There was a licking sound after a little while. "Mm, this tastes a lot better."

"It's really pretty," the bishop told her. "Here, let me." Another lick was heard. "Mmm. . . you're right, it is delicious." After a minute, Renault added something else. "So are we ready to surprise everyone else? Or should we wait until the party?"

"The party is going to be in a short while," she told Renault, "so I'm sure we could let people eat them now and have plenty left for the party!" There was a rattling noise, something metallic being picked up.

"Hmm, well, I suppose that's right, isn't it?" After a moment, a rattle could be heard and a startled exclamation. "How'd this door get locked?" A moment later, the door opened and a surprised bishop looked out at the faces staring at the door. ". . . What?"

"Of course it's right!" Amelia chirped. She joined Father Renault in front of the door. "Huh?" she wondered. She held in her hands a tray piled high with iced cookies.
