The red haired angel fluttered her wings a bit while they walked more to stretch them out a bit rather than in alarm. She was certianly a happy child...that was good. She hadn't really approved of the concept of making children of both heavenly and demonics genetics but when they produced someone as charming as Ebony it was hard to think it was a bad thing. Besides...all children were born innocent...and they were being given to people who wanted them. That was a good thing. A loving home to be raised in.
She was lost in thought pondering it all before the question was thrust before her.
"Hmm?" she said as she looked to the little girl again. As she opened her eyes the color of her irises were pink, but her eyes were milky showing her blindness.
"I do many things here, I walk the gardens mostly. Flowers are beautiful things...so serene...as is most things in nature." She gave a small tinkling laugh. being cooped up limited the things you could do. But she loved the indoor gardens the most. It reminded her of heaven.

"Mommy, where you come from - what is it like?" The small one often heard stories about heaven and angels, but stories weren't always the best way to get information.

She stopped or rather paused in her stride and then placed a hand on the girls head between her horns petting her.
"I suppose heaven is much like earth my dear...just more organized." she teased remembering how easy it was to navigte in heaven...everything was always in order...the trees the plants...everything.
"Every building is pure white, magic binds the stone and at night it glows, giving enough light for us to see. I can see the magic my dear..." She explained for how cuold one who was blind be able to see glowing walls?
"like a million twinkling stars.."she continued with a slow intake of breath. "Its been so long since I have been there..." The longing in her voice was distant...as if there were certian things she missed...but perhaps not heaven itself.

The woman gave a very small shrug of her shoulders,
"That is just the way it is...most of the stone is white in heaven. From white every other color can spring into existance." She continued with a small laugh.
"I suppose it is because white is pure...untouched." She gave another small sigh as she she closed her eyes a moment after having them open.
"Why do you ask little one?"

"Just wondered. I like colorful stuff." the little one answered, "My room used to be white but then I spilled paint when I was playing and it got a biiiiiiiig red splotch. So I got out the rest of my paints and put splotches of other colors so it wouldn't feel lonely."

The angel gave another small laugh and nodded her head. "Is that so? well I am sure you did a good job with your paints. I know I wouldn't ever be lonely with you around." She murmured with a smile. And it was true the woman could see herself around Ebony a lot. She was such a sweet and innocent little girl.
She gave a inward frown wondering just how long the girl would remain innocent. Given her other half.....she tried not to think bad things about Jher. She ..she was just doing what she was born to do. A horrible thing...but...

Ebony grinned up at Colaer, fluttering her small wings. "Mommy, do you like to fly?" she asked, oblivious to the older woman's train of thought.

The woman stretched her own wings and she gave a bit of a nod and another small laugh.
"I do..but flying is tricky for me..since I am blind...i can sense auras...but here ...with so much inatimate objects...its tricky...the human world is crowded." She responded recalling that was how she got caught in the first place...crashing into a radio tower...

Ebony nodded a bit. "I don't have that problem much. I bump into people a lot though, but that's okay. It usually ends up in me making new friends. I have looooooootsa friends."
The small one didn't quite know what to talk about at this point, but that was okay. She could still walk along and enjoy Mommy's company.

"You are the first person to ask me about heaven..why did you think of it?" She inquired as it was true. no one had ever asked her about her homeland before. It brought back memories...and sadness, but she could deal with those. She was happy here...she supposed.

"Just kinda wondered. You were talking about nature and stuff and it made me wonder what nature was like in Heaven." the small one explained, moving her head a little against the petting. A gesture as innocent as her others, just enjoying physical contact and the warmth of having another person with her - Ebby liked to be around people.

Coloar nodded her head again thinking again the small difference between heaven and earth. She supposed it was that everything was perfect in heaven...whilst on earth every thing was diverse..unique unto itself. No two things alive or otherwise were the same.
"In my homeland, the flowers are beautiful. They don't wilt...nothing dies there. It is as if life if forever for them. If you pick one another will soon appear to take its place." She explained knowing the first thoughts in her head may confuse the child.

Ebony thought for a bit, "I guess that's kind of nice. Would it be the same kind of flower or a different? What sorts are there even? Are they all the same?"

"we have many types of flowers in heaven, roses, violets, lilies..." she listed off a few more before she went back to the other questions.
"they are a different plant but the same. Some what like a child sprung from the picked flower." she explained.
