A Show Like No Other: Part One
Crevan wasn't exactly what one could call social by any stretch of the imagination... he went to work, he went home, he ordered his food via take out, and he got into fights with people he deemed to be idiots... people he wasn't really scared of calling idiots at times as well... Of late he'd gotten braver and braver with how many those idiots he told off as well, after all he had a friend who was into healing and potions and natural remedies... he got healed up in no time because of that no matter his injuries. He was getting a bit of an immortality complex because of the good care he received from the Healer and Florist known as Yuki...
Yukito was one of few who could deal with Crevan's gruff, grouchy, and prickly exterior. He wasn't one that tried to make friend and yet he couldn't seem to get rid of the kind hearted Florist. Ever since they first met, despite not knowing him at the time, despite Crevan telling him to get lost, despite nearly getting the flower boy hurt he still stuck around, followed him, and badgered him until he was allowed to help... and it had been like that ever since. Even if wanted to get rid of Yuki he doubted he could chase him off and the man was starting to not only get used to his presence he was starting to enjoy it as well, looking forward to visits from him and visiting him.
In fact that was where he was heading right now. There was a small shop called 'Petal Power' a flower shop run for the most part by Yukito and his brother Sasarai and owned by a mysterious benefactor that the two Florists rarely saw. Only when it was time to pay the bills, bring the money the shop made to the bank, bring in new plants he found in his journies, and other random times.
Eccentric was probably the right word for the guy from the way he had been described... ones who just handed his shop over to pair he deemed 'worthy'. Ones who hadn't even been of the legal age to be running a shop on their own at the time. He wondered if the old guy knew... somehow he suspected that he might have but still because of what the pair had been trying to accomplish took them on anyway.
Crevan had been a bit surprised to hear that Yukito who seemed the sort that would find deception as something foreign had lied to readily about who he was and how old he was. For a good cause Crevan had learned later but none the less it showed that everyone had their secrets.
He gave a bit of a lazy yawn as he walked along, scratching at his beard that was need of trimming. It had been a long, long day... complete with more work then originally intended when a couple cars that should have been sold for scrap ages ago were brought in for 'help'. Perhaps if there was a Divine Car God he'd be able to resurrect them... he would try if nothing else, good money in feeding the whims of people who had to much money to waste of foolish projects. He wanted to head for home right away but he had promised to come by and see the latest project that Yukito was working on... plants were a bit over his head, he ate them, noticed them in flower shops, and even found a couple given to him as gifts but that was about it.
Not up his alley but he wouldn't hurt the young man by refusing to come by... especially because if he did that he might not get a healing potion the next time he got himself in a fight. Oh well... maybe it would surprise him? And if not... well he would cheer the plant crazy Florist on and then head for home.
No harm, no foul, and everyone would be happy! Easy as that...

A Show Like No Other: Part Two
It was somewhat like starring at one of those black light posters that college kids kept in their dorms rooms was the first thing to come to mind after being led from the shop itself to the special green house located out back. He lifted one of his oil stained hands and reached toward one of the strange mushrooms onto the have Yuki catch hold of his wrist.
"No! I don't want to chance upsetting them. It took me forever to get them to thrive Crevan and... well..." He starred down at the hand he was holding onto in a pointed manner.
Crevan gave him a look, "Fine, fine... I won't touch them." He said with a roll of his eyes. Only Yuki could worry about 'upsetting' plant life... then again he was always talking about how he 'heard their voices' and how he 'spoke to them' a very strange young man that was for sure, "I was just trying to see if they were real."
Wrong thing to say as the dragon tail of the young man before him started to lash back and forth, "Of course they are real... do you think I would try to show you something false?" He asked, while his tail was lashing as though he were angry his voice just sounded hurt, "I worked very hard getting them to grow Crevan and your to the first to see aside from my brother and The Owner."
"Alright, alright... no need for the guilt trip. They just... don't look real is all I was trying to say. Like something out of a weird B rated movie." He said, holding up his hands in a defensive manner, "They are... really strange but I am impressed, the set up looks quite ornate." He was trying to change the subject if it were at all possible... to save himself anymore guilt for wounding what the young man had the most pride in, his plants.
Yukito seemed to relax again, looking over at the set up and gave a nod, "They like it when it rains, without the water they wither away... and they only grow on a certain type of tree when it falls. So many factors to get right... and I was able to do it! My hard work paid off and I am content to watch them glow like this." He had a dreamy sort of look on his face that Crevan felt himself somewhat envious of, it wasn't to often when he felt something like that himself. Only when he was lucky enough to work on a really expensive sort of car.
Crevan nodded, turning to look at the mushrooms again, not quite as fascinated with them... and after a short amount of time he started to fidget. Mushroom were interesting and all but... well... they were mushrooms, not the sort one threw on a pizza, he had a feeling ingesting them wouldn't be a good idea given that glow they gave off... probably radioactive or something, "I'd love to stand here all night and watch the mushrooms glow but I had a really long day..." He said, a bit of a lie as he could think of other things to do at the moment... many of them but he didn't want to hurt Yukito's feelings again. He felt as though he were far, far to soft around the guy and it bugged him.
"I understand, we have some leftovers from dinner if you would like to take them home." He offered, knowing well how Crevan fed himself and knew that it wasn't good for him... at all...
Crevan crossed his arms over his chest, "I can feed myself you know." He said, giving his friend a bit of a look, "And I like what I eat as well." Even if from time to time what he took out of the fridge was questionable at best...
"I know but..." He shook his head, no point in arguing something moot, Crevan liked his mystery food... even if all the bad ingredients in it made the dragon tailed boy wince. He turned around and gave a smile, "Come on then, I will see you to the front door." He had to lock up after Crevan left anyway.
Crevan nodded, starting out of the greenhouse though he paused when he saw shadowy movement out of the corner of his eye.

A Show Like No Other: Part Three
Crevan couldn't tell exactly what had happened, it was a little hard to tell exactly who it was creeping around but it looked a bit like a vagrant... before he could do anything, say anything, even really process a thought there was a sudden burst of red light that overpowered the green glow the mushrooms gave off.
The man spun around on his heel to react, not to go rushing off into the flames to try to save the fungus... because really that was all it was to him, but instead to wrap his arms around the waist of Yukito who had started forward to do just that, "No! Your not going to burn yourself over fungus!" He snapped.
Yukito struggled, reaching forward toward the plants even as he was pulled away from them, "B-But... Crevan... I have to get them..." He said, though the glow was so overpowering, it wouldn't take long at all before the entire set up that the mushrooms were in had become nothing but ash and the dragon tailed boy slumped in Crevan's arms, starring with wide red eyes, dazed. The way he was acting it was as though he'd seen someone important die in front of his eyes... then again if he really could hear the voice of a plant...
Crevan lifted him up to his feet, "Come on Yuki... lets bring you inside." He said, meaning to bring him inside before he came back, found that bum, and beat the life out of him... who in their right mind went around burning things? Especially things like that? Something so important to someone?!
Arson, vandalism, not to mention picking on someone as stupidly nice as Yukito...

Strange Evidence
Crevan had searched long and hard, the alleys around the shop, nearby buildings, everywhere but the one he'd seen skulking about the shadows of the greenhouse was no where to be found. He had wanted so bad to catch the person, beat them down, and drag them back to Yukito in a triumphant sort of way but... when it came down to it somehow he thought if he'd done that Yukito would have just healed the person despite what they had done to him.
"Can't believe some people... burning things..." He muttered, "Burning mushrooms of all things..." Why would someone burn mushrooms? They had been a pet project, something Yuki had been so happy about... it was an odd feeling, a new feeling this desire to exact justice for someone else. Unable to do so though he had to head back to the greenhouse empty handed first, looking within at the charred remains of what had once been the mushroom set up. Crevan was feeling more tired then before he'd set out in search of the person... he wanted nothing more then to head home and rest but for the moment he found himself instead cleaning up the mess.
There was something... odd that he noticed only as he was cleaning, the section of the greenhouse that contained the mushrooms was a small section... and it was all that had been burned. Everything else was fine, untouched, as though the fire had been somehow been contained to only that one plant. It was a relief and yet at the same time... more anger inducing. The mushrooms were picked out and the crime was against them only... he kind of hoped that that Yukito wouldn't notice the same thing.
When the mess was taken care of, gathered and tossed into the trash he decided it was time to head for home... though first he wanted to check in on his dragon tailed friend. The young man was sitting at the counter of the shop, he could see him through the window of the shop... the lights were off, the closed sign was up, and the doors were locked... he looked so sad... poor thing.
He shook his head as he turned on his heel and headed out, he would try to catch him at work tomorrow he thought to himself and make sure that he was alright... maybe he could find him some sort of plant to help perk him up... what a strange thought he thought to himself with a grumble.

Finally Resting
Crevan was never happier to get back to his apartment... he kicked off his shoes the moment he was in the door and the second it clicked shut behind him he was shedding his clothing that was covered in dirt and ash leaving it in a heap in the middle of the walk way then walked sans clothing from there to the shower. A quick rinse off later and he was collapsing into bed, asleep almost as soon as his head hit the pillow...
He was dreaming a happy dream, one where he got to be rich and lazy sitting out in his front yard in a lawn chair. He was over looking his massive yard, to the side were all of his wonderfully expensive cars both new and vintage, to the other side was Yukito who he had working as his gardener. Crevan had a drink in one hand, Chinese food in the other, and he was just... contented in the setting despite what he had to eat and drink being the same things he had currently sitting in his fridge.
His version of being rich it would seem was based more around what was in his driveway then what was in his belly. The more he thought about it though he wondered if the Chinese food in his fridge was still good. Today was technically Tuesday... which meant that he bought it what? Three days ago? He sat forward in his lawn chair and his dream wavered then crumbled...
As he found himself sitting up in bed... Crevan glanced over at his clock finding it to be several hours after he'd laid down. His stomach gave a grumble and with a yawn he got to his feet, rooting around on the floor with a foot until he found a pair of pants and stepped into him. Food, food... damn dream had made him hungry and now all he could think about was getting some of that left of Chinese food and sitting down to watch some infomercials.
From the walk to the kitchen he seemed to be quite oblivious to anything being at all out of the ordinary... even the fact that his apartment seemed to be slightly more dirty then normal was lost on him. It wasn't until he went to the fridge and found it out of order and one of the white containers that he'd been dreaming about was gone that he started to really look around... taking things in. The first thing he noticed were small, dirty foot prints that came into the kitchen. Seemed to consist of dirt and ash he realized which had Crevan following them first to where they had come from... which ended up with him more confused then anything.
His pile of clothing that he'd abandon by the door? He felt a sinking feeling in his stomach as he continued to follow the prints, this time to where they had been going instead of where they had come from. From the living room to the kitchen, to the fridge and from there to... the table? He didn't want to look under it, not looking under the table meant he could ignore that part of him that knew in a way what was going on.
Gaia was... a strange and random sort of place where one could end up with a child through any and all means... Yukito had told him that his family had at one point been huge, one had come from a heart shaped rock, one from a store that sold children to be whatever one wanted to raise them as, one was found, one adopted, and Yukito himself was born from a piece of candy... slowly, very slowly he found himself kneeling down to look under the table.
"Wonderful." He muttered to himself upon finding a kid there... brown hair, big brown eyes, strange mushroom growths all up one arm, and freckles that looked as if he had been splattered in mud. Sitting in front of the young boy, completely empty was the General Tso's Chicken that container that Crevan had been dreaming about... he gave a little sighing sound as he starred at it. He had really been wanting that he thought to himself, seeming to be trying to think of anything other then the fact that the 'wonderful world of Gaia' had cursed him with a child. What did he know about children? Sure he watched his nephew from time to time but that kid was self sufficient for the most part, smart enough to feed himself, dress himself... he pushed aside that train of thought and rose to his feet.
"What in the world am I going to do with a mushroom brat..." His words trailed off and he was kneeling down once more to look at the kid, his blue eyes widening slightly, "Holy hells... you have got to be kidding me..." Had those things been some sort of Phoenix Mushrooms? Had he just been imagining that hobo? Maybe the mushrooms set themselves on fire so that they could be reborn like this? Instantly he felt suspicious of the glow in the dark mushrooms. Why had they been born like this here? Why him? Yukito would surely have been a better choice as a parent... the guy was nice, stable, he had a good job, a big yard, he lived above where he worked. It seemed that he would have been an ideal parent and yet somehow the brat ended up here with him...
"I suppose this means your going to need things, huh? A name, food, a place to sleep... clothing." He said, talking to the kid again who seemed to just be starring at him with huge eyes that looked a little unsure of the one that was talking to him, "Look kid, just cause you stole my meal doesn't mean I'm gonna toss you out. Come on. Lets see if we can find you something to wear."
He rose to his feet walking across the kitchen and after a moment the small boy came out from under and slowly, cautiously toddled after the tall, gruff man in front of him.
Crevan turned off the kitchen light when the boy reached the living room and he gave a little jump when the boy started to glow that same, radioactive green that the mushrooms in the green house had done. He starred at him for a long moment then shook his head, "Wow... well that was a bit of a surprise. Is your hair glowing, kid?" Weird... but this made it so there was no doubt at all in his mind about how evil and untrustworthy those glowing mushrooms were.
"Come on." He said again, heading for his room where he could find something temporary for the boy to wear. He felt a feeling of dread building up as he realized the easiest way to get some clothing for the boy was to go and see his sister... On his list of things he wanted to do going to hell was higher up then visiting that woman... but it would get him some free clothing since he knew she saved all of Kione's old stuff, "Maybe you can distract the harpy while we are there." He told the boy as he set to digging around through the heaps of dirty clothing laying about the room.

The Harpy
"He is a child that suits you Crevan, dear." The woman said, looking over the small form that her brother was carrying.
Crevan drew in a breath before slowly letting it out between his teeth, "That's... nice of you to say." He murmured, setting his newly aquired son down at his feet. Why was it he felt like a small child all over again he thought to himself, feeling rather miffed. He was taller then his sister was now, he was well enough off, worked hard... but one comment from her and he felt like he was the same age as the boy who was standing with him.
The boy looked up at his Daddy, over to the woman who had been dubbed as an Aunt, then stepped closer to his Daddy and wrapped one arm around his leg tightly. He gazed up at the woman with with huge, brown eyes and felt... rather afraid of her. That smile of hers was kinda of predatory and scared him a little. He scooted around the man's legs to use him as a human shield, protecting him from the dangerous lady.
"So, will you help me out?" Crevan asked, trying to sound like a good brother if he would rather tell her off and be on his way.
"Of course, of course! I will need you to go up into the attic though and go through the boxes up there to find what you need for the boy." She said seeming to be oblivious to the fact that neither Crevan or his son wanted to be anywhere near her. She turned on her heel and then started to stride along, down the hallway to door that headed upstairs to the attic. She opened it up and motioned for Crevan to head up there.
The little mushroom boy gazed up at the man as he started away and he started to follow along after him as quickly as he could in the long shirt he wore. He didn't want his Daddy to go alone he wanted to go wit him. Once he reached the the bottom of them though he plopped down onto his backside, watching the man climb up into the darkness of the attic. He felt a bit dizzy when the darkness swallowed up his father.
"So boy. It does make me curious, what did your father name you?" The woman asked, squatting down to look him over. The pose making her look more and more like some sort of bird of prey... she had tall, hair sprayed hair, a curved nose, and a sharp stare.
The boy merely starred up at her... then turned to look up at the stairs once more wondering how long it would take his Daddy to reappear.
"Seems strange to me that he would end up with a son..." The woman muttered, she loved her brother but he wasn't the most responsible man... his place was a wreck, his job was dirty and dangerous, he ate badly, and it was questionable if he could even run a washing machine.
The sound of steps drew her attention and she looked over her shoulder, finding Kione there with his little friend. The tiny girl tightened her hands on her friend's arm and then gave a smile, "H-Hello Miss Belinda." She squeaked out.
Kione starred at his mother in a slightly bored manner, "Mom... who the kid?" He asked, not really showing any interest in him... though Amanda did release him to walk over to the boy seeming to relax upon finding someone so tiny to play with.
"This? Good question... your Uncle never bothered to tell me his name..."
"Oh! Uncle Crevan is here?" Kione asked, perking up, looking rather excited... then his eyes got huge, "Wait. What? OH! You mean hes gotten himself a kid? That's so cool."
The woman gave a snort as she rose to her feet, "I am not so sure about that."
Kione trotted over to join Amanda in sitting down with the little kid, "I am, hes a lot of fun." He said, reaching out to touch one of the mushrooms on the little boy's arm which drew a soft sound like a giggle from him, as though that part of himself was ticklish, "Those are part of you? How neat!"
"You should see him with the lights off." Came Crevan's voice as he walked down the steps with a couple of large boxes in his hands.
"Lights off? Really?" Amanda asked of Crevan before getting to her feet and held her hands out to him. The boy starred at the outstretched hands before reaching out to take them pulling himself up to his feet, stepping closer to her. He felt... better around this girl and the boy. They were closer to his size, they were smiling, they seemed... nice.
"Come on then kid, lets go see you with the lights off." Kione said, half thinking it was a way to get the kid out from under the sharp glare of his mother.
Crevan and Belinda watched the trio wander off before Crevan looked over at her, "He has a name you know, a damn good one. And I know I am not high on the list of people who should be given a kid but I was and I will take care of him." He told the woman before he started toward the living room, wanting to go through the boxes to find stuff that his boy could use.
"Oh? And what is his name Crevan?" She asked, following after him somewhat surprised to hear him speak out like that.
"Its Ashton." He said, leaving her standing there in shock.
After all Ashton was the name of their father, a man who had disappeared when they were young, unable to deal with raising so many kids... despite being unable to help he did send them cards for different holidays, money when it was needed, he was just... never present. It was a good name if you asked Crevan, the man had tried to make things easier for their mother in the only way he knew how and Crevan was going to try to do well for his son and be better then his father... and more cheerful then his sister.

A Light Show
Kione and Amanda were clapping their hands, giggling in delight as the young boy in front of them gave of a neon green glow when the lights went out in Kione's room.
"Oh man! That rocks!" Kione told him, reaching his hand out to take one of Ashton's hands in his, the one with the mushrooms and lifted it up so he could look over the interesting, fungal growths that he had there, "How do they grow on you like that? Never seen something like this before."
Amanda scooted over and in a very girlish manner reached out to run her fingers through his hair which was also giving off the same glow, "Soooo pretty! Can I do your hair?" She asked of him.
Ashton looked back and forth between the pair, one holding his hand and the other already running her fingers through his hair as if she were trying to decide what to do with it. He gave a little smile, relaxing, and seemed to be unbothered by the attention... it felt nice really, they were both so friendly.
The little girl acted first, slidding off the panda bear backpack that she wore and dug through it to get out of her brush and some hair ties, "To short for all one pony tail." She murmured as she set to brushing the knots out of the mushroom cut hair and then gathered it up into small amounts, working on lots of little braids to make him pretty!
"Geez... your making him look like a girl." Kione complained, rising to his feet and turned on the light so that he could try to find something to help make Ashton look more like a boy again, "You know I have a jersey you can wear, its tank top so there aren't any sleeves to squish your mushrooms and to small on me." It would probably be a bit big on the mushroom kid but better then what he was wearing now.
Ashton was quiet the entire time, allowing one of them to turn his hair into a mass of braids and the other dressed him in random sports paraphernalia. When they were both pleased with what they had done they stepped back to take in the look, "Awww, you look so cute!" Amanda chirped, clapping her small hands together.
Kione nodded, "Yeah, the braids don't look so bad paired up with that shirt." He agreed, he'd seen sports players with that sort of hair before so it worked, "Come on, lets go show your Dad."
Amanda nodded rapidly, "Yes, I bet he will think you just as cute as we do." She said, hopping off the bed and held her hands out to Ashton.
He reached out to take them, holding onto them tightly and allowed the pair to lead him from Kione's room to the living room where his Daddy and Auntie were waiting.

Family Members
Crevan was working on going through the boxes, getting out what he would need for his son, things the right sizes that would fit him now and for the time being. He didn't want to get things that would need to be replaced in no time flat. He had a slowly growing pile to his left of what he was going to take while to his right was his sister listing off all of the things that he was going to have to do as a parent. Feeding the kid, bathing the kid, making sure he had clean clothing, clean bedding, doctors visits, then there would be toys and books, time with him, a good babysitter for when Crevan was at work... then list went on and one and one... and the worst thing about it was most of what she was saying he already knew about.
Seriously though... Feeding his son... the fact that she had mentioned that first irked him... but he remained silent as he always did when she went off on one of her tangents. She would tell him that she was being so kind as to give him Kione's old clothing if he dared to speak against her so he would let her lord it over him... she was the oldest child and it seemed to be her place in the family, to play 'mother' to the rest of them when their own mother had been to busy to do so. Her Mother Hen syndrome remained intact even now though it was compounded by the fact that so far she was the only among the siblings that had a kid until now.
"I will keep it all in mind." He said, looking over what he had at hand so far. He was curious as to how many outfits would be good for one kid but wasn't about to ask. Instead he just make sure he had a big stack of them so that he wouldn't have to come back for a while to ask for more, maybe just go find a used clothing store instead. As it was he really couldn't bring Ashton there wearing a over sized shirt dressed like a vagrant.
"Good, good. Now if you ever need a babysitter you can feel free to drop him off here." She offered him.
Crevan gave her a bit of a look, "Ahhh... I will keep it in mind." He said, though the idea of leaving his helpless son along with her was something he didn't think would happen unless Hell somehow froze over. He lifted his head at the sound of footsteps and his eyes went huge... and he started to question if leaving his son with his nephew and Amanda had been a good idea upon seeing what they did to him.
"What in the Nine Hells?" He asked, looking at the two older kids who were giggling.
"I did his hair!" Amanda squealed, petting the braids.
"Yeah, I thought I'd give him a cool shirt to make him less girly." Kione explained, giving Ashton's shoulder a pat.
Ashton looked up at the air then gave a soft giggle and nodded, walking over to his Daddy and crawled up into his lap, leaning against him in a somewhat sleepy manner. Playing with his cousin and his girlfriend was tiring and he was ready for a nap.
"I think I am gonna take these clothes and Ashton and head for home. He looks like he could use a nap and I know I could go for something to eat." He would need to order in something, he wondered what his boy would want... he would figure it out later he thought as he set to packing the clothing up into a trash bag Belinda had given him.
"Well you two have fun and I look forward to seeing him again."
"Yeah, same here! 'Manda and I will come to visit soon." Kione pipped up as he watched his uncle pack up and get ready to go.
"Sounds good." He said, speaking more to Kione then his sister, "Might be going to visit the Flower Shop soon too, I will call if you and Amanda want to come along."
Both of them nodded rapidly.
Crevan gave a smile, rising to his feet and with Ashton in one arm and the clothing in the other he started for the door. He was eager to be on his way, feeling relief when the door closed behind him and he was free from his eldest sister once again.

A Taste of Sushi
Crevan was working slowly but surely at figuring out what exactly it was that his new son liked to eat for dinner. He was discovering a lot of interesting things, like how Ashton would in fact eat mushrooms even though it seemed odd given he had them growing on him... like some form of weird cannibalism if you asked Crevan. He liked salty foods more then he liked sweet ones, like spicy things despite being young, would eat most anything from the pizza place, then Chinese place, and tonight they were trying out a new place.
At least it was new to his son. It would be a little bit chancy on whether or not he was going to want to eat any of what was order since it was sushi and as such a lot of cold food, raw fish, and rice. It was what he felt in the mood for so it was what he was ordering, "There are left overs in the fridge if you don't like what I ordered." He told his son who was sitting on the floor in front of the television.
Ashton turned to look over his shoulder at his father or a long moment before he gave a nod as he pushed up to his feet and toddled over to the man who was on the phone with the place. He wrapped his arms arms around one of Crevan's legs and pushed up onto his toes to try to catch what he was ordering. It all sounded rather interesting... they all had such strange names which had him wanting some of... well... whatever it was that his Dad was getting them for dinner.
*****
The small mushroom boy sat there on the floor eyes wide as he starred down at the brightly colored food in front of him. He lifted a hand to pick one of them up, looking it over. It smelled kind of odd and was cold but... he put it in his mouth none the less, chewing in a very slow manner as tried to figure out all of the strange flavors and whether or not he liked it. He wasn't really sure... it was kind of chewy and the green stuff wrapped around the outside of it was weird. He lifted a hand to his mouth, pulling the green... paper from his mouth and held it up for his Dad to see, "What?" He asked, head tilted to the side.
Crevan looked over at it, "Its seaweed."
Ashton starred at his father as if he were waiting for the rest of the joke... then when he realized it was actually seaweed he turned his gaze to looking at the green material in his hand. He looked it over, flipping it forward and back, inspecting it... then set it down on his plate not sure if he wanted to eat a weed. He didn't consider that he'd eaten fungus before and that it was probably on the same level as sea weed.
He turned to looking at the rest of the items on his plate, rearranging them according to color. He didn't want to eat the ones with the green in it, the green might be more seaweed he thought to himself. Once it was all arranged he continued to eat, gobbling down the rest that were on his plate.
He glanced over at his Dad, watching him eat everything on his plate without any sort of rhyme or reason to his choosing. He seemed to eat just about anything from what Ashton had learned from watching him. He ate all sorts of mystery food in the fridge too. The fridge... Ashton rose up on his feet, picked up his plate and toddled off into the kitchen. He was going to put this into the fridge, it would stay fresh that way and he could eat it later! It was tossed into the fridge among the rest of the take out containers, pizza boxes, and mysterious bags whose contents were unknown.
It wasn't long before the sushi was forgotten... A lucky break for one of the flavors called 'Boston Roll' a type of sushi that had been made with a special sort of enchanted rice. There had been a note with it saying that it wasn't for eating, that it was special but such a note was lost on Crevan who saw no reason to read while he was eating... the Boston Roll would never know how close it had been to beating eaten and that the green section of it was what had saved it from being devoured....

Cleaning Crew: Part One
It was the first time for that Yukito had come to visit since Crevan had obtained a son from some sort of strange happenstance... the dragon seemed to be unable to pick what he wanted to say first. His red eyed gaze flickering back and forth before the mushroom boy and the awful catastrophe that was the kitchen... and the living room and well... all other rooms that he could see from his current vantage point, "Crevan..." It was all that he could get out, one word, his friend's name said in a sighing manner.
The man looked back and forth before he crossed his arms over his chest, "Look I have been extra busy! I have a kid now you know." He told the other male, as though that would be the perfect defense against any further complaints from the dragon man.
"That may be so but now that your a father you should be trying that much harder to keep things cleaned up." Yukito said, walking over to kneel down next to the little boy and then blinked a couple times, leaning in closer, "Huh, you look... familiar somehow." He murmured.
Crevan gave a snort, "Of course he does, he came from those cursed mushrooms of yours." He said in a grumpy voice. He still didn't understand how he had been saddle with a kid that by all rights should have been Yukito's problem. After all it was Yukito who had grown the mushroom, taken care of them, was so proud of them... and yet Crevan ended up with the mushroom brat. It was all a divine joke if you asked him.
"Cursed mushrooms?" He murmured, leaning closer to Ashton and let his eyes close listening carefully. It was... strange, he could hear the voices of all plant life mushrooms included but... the mushrooms that grew on the little boy didn't seem to have voices of their own, they seemed to be a part of Ashton... all one consciousness. It was... strange to Yukito, not to hear a voice. He leaned a little closer... then gave a jolt when a small set of hands laid against his cheeks.
The dragon's eyes opened to find the boy leaning quite close... before he lifted up on his tip toes to press a kiss to Yuki's forehead, "Like him." Ashton said shyly, before stepping away from the man with the dragon tail to lean against his father's legs, smiling up at him.
"I don't think there are many who don't." Crevan said with a bit of a shrug. He wasn't in the least bit surprised that Yukito had won the young boy over so easily. The dragon just had that sort of weird vibe about him... even Crevan didn't so much mind him even if Yukito was often scolding him.
Yukito gave a little flushed, seeming to have been caught off guard and made quite happy by the boy's words. He was someone who loved everyone and to be told that he was liked back was an honor, "Thank you." He murmured before pushing up to his feet, his long tail swishing behind him, "Now... shall we go and tackle that mess in your kitchen first? Once we get it cleaned up I can make dinner for us." He'd been smart and brought ingredients with him... after all he knew that rarely did Crevan eat in. It was a treat to have someone cook a real, home cooked meal for you and it was something that Crevan looked forward too. The man was actually smiling as he picked up the bags that Yuki had brought, motioning for him to lead the way to the kitchen.
The dragon nodded, turning on his heel to lead the way with Crevan and Ashton following close behind.

Cleaning Crew: Part Two
It was by some miracle that they were able to gather all of the trash together, the boxes that were laying around here and there were scrapped into the trash, the boxes were broken down and stacked in the corner, bags of trash were drug from the apartment to where the dumpster was located down below in the alley way. It was a lot of work on everyone's part but it wasn't long before things were looking a little better.
"How it gets this bad in a week is beyond me." Yukito was saying to Ashton as he and the mushroom boy sorted through the laundry. The big pile was broken down into whites, colors, and jeans... and much to Crevan's embarrassment that meant Yukito sorting through his under wear as well... he'd about had a fit when he noticed what he was doing...
"Yukito! What in the... what do you think your... augh!" He gave a growling sound as he grabbed a pair of them from the dragon tailed boy and pointed toward the kitchen, "You should be cooking!"
The dragon seemed rather confused, head tilting to the side. It really meant nothing to him, when he was younger and his family had all been whole he'd helped with doing the laundry for ten people... sorting through clothing meant nothing to him, "Ahh... Crevan they are just..."
"Just nothing for you to be pawing through, I thought you planned on cooking dinner." He said again, and it was then that Yuki realized that his friend was actually acting... shy. It wasn't an emotion that he'd thought that Crevan had in him. As such he rose up to his feet, neatening what he was wearing.
"I will start dinner then." He murmured, giving his friend a smile, "Would you like to help me Ashton? Your Daddy can finish up the sorting and start a load of laundry by himself I'm sure."
The little boy nodded, getting up to his feet and took one of Yuki's pale hands in his, walking along with him toward the kitchen. There was still much to do if you asked the dragon, they needed to clean out the fridge, do a lot of dishes, cook, sweep, mop, the list went on and on... for now though he would start with the cooking and cleaning out of the fridge. If he did that then there would be room for left overs to be placed inside to be eaten later.
Plates, boxes and bags, and cups of mysterious contents were all removed from the fridge and it was all that Yukito could do at a couple points to keep from passing out. He wasn't sure why but there were some things he didn't do well with, weird cups of thick ooze that used to be a drink got to him the most making his stomach churn. As such a few plates of old food and some cups were abandon on the counter near to the fridge as he ran for a window, needing a breath of fresh air.
Ashton watched the dragon tailed man as he gasped for a breath then turned and looked over at his Daddy as he arrived... the man dropped what he was doing, literally even, and rushed over to his friend, "What happened? You alright?" Hearing him sound so worried was another new one on both Ashton and Yukito, the man was normally so gruff about everything... He reached out to lay his hands on Yuki's shoulders, turning him around.
"Y-Yeah... sorry... the cups were... and my stomach just..." He made a motion with his hand, flushing a bit.
Crevan looked over to where Yukito was looking before giving a nod. He should have cleaned the fridge himself was his first thought not that he said as much out loud. Instead he just gave the young man a pat on the head, "Geez... your weak." He muttered, "Come on, you can sit in the living room and I will just order dinner."
"Buy... but Crevan..." Yukito started.
"I will have none of that, you helped enough today... and you can always just come back tomorrow and cook." He said, giving a bit of a grin that made Yukito want to thank him and hit him at the same time...
"Alright... but I won't be able to come until after the shop is closed for the day." He said, settling down on the couch and was soon joined by Ashton who curled up against him. Both were content to stay like that while Crevan ordered dinner from one of the places that he knew well.

Morning Jolt
Crevan had got up earlier then was normal for him, wanting to be able to get the remaining dishes taken care of before the dragon tailed boy came back to visit this evening. The cups were what he had to take care of first pouring out the strange contents into the side of his sink that had the garbage disposal in it. He turned on the faucet then the disposal before pouring the thick ooze down it. The stuff smelled... funky at best... and looked more like cottage cheese or Jell-O then it did milk and juice... at least he thought that was what it might have been at once point. It was no wonder Yukito had nearly fallen over in a dead faint, he had a hard time with liquids that were even slightly thickened never mind ones that had taken on a new form over an extended period of time in the fridge, "Blech..." He muttered to himself as he set the cups aside then reached over to grab a plate.
He turned to the sink scrapping the contents off, not exactly sure what it used to be... noodles of some sort maybe? The plate was set aside and he reached for the next one, picking it up... then blinked as something on the plate seemed to stand up and fled from the plate before it could be carried over to the disposal.
The man stood there, frozen in place and seemed to be trying to figure out what in the world had just happened... had he just seen what he thought he saw...? He shook his head, no... no... food didn't get up and run away he told himself as he scraped the rest of what was on the plate into the sink and set the plate aside. He was reaching over to get the next one when he spotted the small creature again that was standing on the counter near the plates, "What the Hell...?"
"Dude!" The thing squeaked, lifting one foot up to kick it out at him a couple of times, "That wasn't even funny!" It bounced back and forth on its two feet, looking rather angry... which was amusing to see, something so small and colorful attempting to be mad at someone.
Crevan blinked a couple more times before he reached over to turn of the disposal, turn off the faucet, and then he turned around to leave the kitchen. The small creature was left standing there, alone... left that way until someone else came in a while later.
*****
This time instead of Crevan it was Ashton, the mushroom boy was seeking out a glass of water when he was spotted by the sushi critter, "Hey! Hey Dude! Help me out? I seem to be trapped up here!" He called out, waving a foot in the air.
Ashton turned, looking over at where the creature was standing before he walked over to where he was, "Huh?" He couldn't help but stare, reaching on hand out toward the small creature, "Hello." He murmured.
The creature hopped from the counter onto his hand, walking up his arm, "Phew, glad you came along. I was stuck up there and that tall Dude didn't help me at all! He was just gonna dump be down the drain! How fail is that?!"
"A... lot of fail?" Ashton guessed. When the creature sat down on his shoulder he went back to getting his water, filling his glass up with water then looked into the fridge and got out the left over chicken from last night, "Want some?" He asked of the little one as he left the kitchen with a box of chicken, a glass of water, and a new friend.

Meeting Kyata: Part One
(( Kyata belongs to Jayoku ))
It had been a long time, but Kyata has dusted off his apron and set about cleaning the tables closest to the windows. For some reason those tables seemed to get dirtier than the rest, and he couldn't fathom how or why. Now the male was tall, rather tall.. towering at 6'3"'s the reddish brown haired man normally didn't have a great outlook in life. He tried...or tries rather but he just didn't have the best of luck when it came to a love life..or just living. He sighed wondering why he was cleaning tables...and remembered it was because he had volunteered to do it. In his own silent and moody way he felt the need to contribute. Crevan was in one of his moods, one of those ones where he just wanted to bark at someone... take his current frustrations out on... well whoever was to blame for the worlds latest mockery of him. Why? Why him of all people? Did the world think that a guy like him who could barely keep his own life in ordered needed a kid? Not only one now he had two of them! Well... he wasn't exactly sure if the second... thing counted as a child but it was sure a lot more chattery then Ashton was...
He'd spent the morning digging through the trash to find the containers that would have the name of the place and then tracked his way back there. Whoever was in charge, whoever made strange little armless... colorful... things like that needed swift kick in the backside!
The sound of the bell over the door as he stepped inside of the shop only seemed to make his anger that much worst, it was to... cheerful.
Trailing along behind Crevan was Ashton, his first son, a short brunette boy with mushroom growing along one arm. Sitting up on his shoulder chattering about about the latest set of cartoons the pair were watching was the creature that had come from this place. He'd been dubbed as 'Roll' for the time being by Ashton since he'd been created from a Boston Roll type of sushi.
Kyata didn't look up as the bell rang indicating that someone had entered the restaurant. It actually took him a couple of minutes to actually register that he was suppose to great the customer. With one last wipe on the table he folded the cloth over his arm before moving to look to see who had entered the establishment.
"Good...afternoon." He started as he always found it hard to speak to people he didn't know. "A table for two then?" He asked assuming that the pair had come to eat. He had yet to notice the little ferment sitting on the young boys shoulder. Crevan gave a shake of his head, "I've had enough of your sushi to last a life time." He said, starting out strong... and grouchy as per usual with him. There was only one person who could really shut him up when he was on a roll but sadly enough that guy wasn't around today, "Is there some reason why this place felt it would be amusing to send some sort of... accursed sushi home with me?" He demanded, not really taking in the fact that this person wasn't in charge... really didn't care either at the moment.
Ashton looked up at his Daddy for a long moment, over at the new person who had tried to be nice... then scooted over to take a nearby seat to watch. He wasn't very talkative, more the sort to just watch the proceedings instead.
"Heh... Dad is wicked." The ferment murmured, watching as well, as though it were some sort of television show.
Raising an eyebrow the man had found the worse person to come against when it came to a confrontation. Kyata had dealt with his ...emotional issues before. He was usually withdrawn and preferred to not talk to people...this was probably the worst kind of job he could do, but he had hoped it would help him loosen up.
"I am sorry sir, but I am not exactly sure what you are talking about. And for your information the sushi aren't cursed. " He spoke his own tone haughty.
Ashton and Roll exchanged a glance when they realized this new person wasn't going to back down... this should prove to make everything that much interesting both seemed to think before turning back to the brewing battle.
"I highly doubt you have no idea." He snapped, seeming to only grow more annoyed when this person dared to argue back, "Your food produces monsters." Okay Roll was a little small to be dubbed 'monster' but that didn't stop him from saying as much.
Roll couldn't help but give a chuckle, a monster? Him? That was an epic title.
Kyata felt his hackles raise at the mention of monsters. "I would prefer you NOT call us monsters thank you. And if you find it too much trouble to take care of you can leave him with me." He spat. Okay he would admit it....the man had touched a sore spot. Mostly due to the fact he had huge abandonment issues, with his first guardian leaving him as well his first girlfriend and his potential second girlfriend. His current guardian had done her best to help him get over the problem...but he could never fully escape the despair he felt when left alone like that.
"And I would prefer that someone give me a damn heads up before I end up with anymore kids that pop up from food items!" Alright so Ashton's type of mushroom wasn't exactly something that one went about eating but he doubted his person knew that.
Ashton gave a gasping sound, lifting his hands up to cup them around Roll before bending forward over him in a protect manner. He didn't want this new person to take Roll away!
The man had a point, though normally people who came to the shop were chosen specifically for a reason.
"Well though I can't figure why you were gifted with one there must of been one. Where is he anyway?" He continued looking around as he knew the ferments could be very small. He had been one after all. Crevan turned and pointed at Ashton before pausing and looked over at the way he was sitting before giving a sigh, "I am not going to let him take Roll." He assured his son, while he was annoyed and wanted to know what was going on with the shop he wasn't about to abandon the... whatever it was.
Ashton looked up between Kyata and his Daddy for a long while before slowly sitting up and uncupped his hands.
The ferment plopped back, looking a little dizzy from the way he'd suddenly been handle, "Eesh... that was dizzifying." He said, shaking his head before looking up at the rather tall guy... then lifted one foot to wave it at him, "'Sup?"
Kyata felt his anger fade a bit, okay...so the man said he wasn't giving up the ferment. That...was a good sign, though he didn't appreciate being spoken too like that. He looked to the little ferment, eying him over before he offered a rather strained smile in return.
"Hello. I am Kyatapira. You can call me Kyata for short. My full name is a bit of a mouthful." He responded to the little ferment before he took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down. Turning to the man he felt his eyes narrow again.
"Now I may not be the owner, or the manager of the restaurant, but I can try and answer any questions you may have concerning your...charge." he replied. "What the hell is it?" The first and most important question that Crevan had about the little thing that was moving to sit up on Ashton's lap. What in the world was it...? It came from sushi, it had no arms, talked as though it were a lot older then a day or so old.... it was just plain weird.
Roll was happy to be free of his brother's 'protective' grip and set to toddling along his leg, to stand at Ashton's knee and pushed up onto his tip toes to get a better look at Kyata, what a cool name, "I'm Roll, this is my main man Ashton!" He said motioning at his brother. That was another thing that confused Crevan, how the tiny thing seemed to have taken up the role of big brother despite his size and age...

Meeting Kyata: Part Two
(( Kyata belongs to Jayoku ))
Kyata sighed and then tried to formulate appropriate words to reply with. "That is called a ferment. Its like a little creature that came into being from the sushi you purchased here." despite being a gogo himself he found trying to explain where they came from and how they came to be difficult.
He looked back to the ferment who had introduced himself as Roll. Roll? Usually gogo's took on the name of their food type. He only vaguely looked over to the other child as he was still trying to come to terms with his anger towards their 'father'. "Fer... ment..." He murmured, then gave a groan. He couldn't let Yuki know... the moment his friend found out what the creature was he would laugh, tell him that it was his own fault for not ever cleaning his kitchen so of course something that was left out would finally gain intelligence. It was unfair... Yukito must never know, ever.
"And what do Ferment do? What am I supposed to do for it?" He asked.
Roll bounced up at down, seeming to be quite easily excited and Ashton was holding his hands out carefully so in case the overly excited ferment fell he could do his best to catch him.
"Take care of him. Care for him. Like you would for any living creature or being." He responded before rubbing his temples in frustration. "It will eventually evolve into something that is doll sized and appears human like." He continued remembering his own teen like growth. Crevan and Ashton both starred down at the very strange looking creature at that information... and it was little boy who responded first, "Will he ever grow arms?" He asked, feeling a bit bad for Roll since he lacked them at the moment and seemed to have a bit of a hard time with some things.
Kyata tilted his head some and then nodded." I believe he would. Every gogo I have met always looks like a mini human." he answered before casting a glare to the father of the two. "Eventually the evolve a final time...it differs between gogo..but as you can see..I turned out fairly fine.."
It didn't take a genius to tell that all three of them were now starring at Kyata, all thinking along different lines of thought but all of it leading back to the same place. Trying to figure out how someone went from little Sushi Ferment to someone like Kyata.
"Thats pretty Epic." Roll said, seeming quite pleased by the thought, so he would end up big at some point huh? Before that doll like? And even get arms? It all sounded pretty extreme to him, interesting, and quite curious. He wanted to know it took to get to grow arms but really he was almost afraid to ask. So he just went back to bouncing up and down on Ashton as though here were a large, living jungle gym.
Ashton gave a bit of a smile to Kyata before he went back to watching after Roll.
Crevan gave a bit of a sighing sound. That the thing would somehow evolve into a normal enough looking human confused him a little but... at the same time he had no idea how long something like that took. For now he had to figure out how to keep him from getting lost... the house was trashed more often then it was neat, he'd end up MIA or scrapped up and thrown out with the trash if they were careful.
Kyata peered at Roll again offering his tense smile. "Yeah I guess...epic is one way to describe it.." He replied as he then shifted on the spot feeling himself wanting to withdraw from this conversation all together. He preferred one on one...three was a bit overwhelming. Yet he still felt drawn to Roll. Perhaps because he wanted to make sure the little ferment was taken care of properly.
"Look what are you living in right now Roll?" he asked curiously. Roll starred up at him with tiny, dark eyes and seemed to be trying to figure out how to answer that, "An apartment." He said finally. He was pretty sure that was what it was. They had left through a door that led into a hall with many other doors, all of which were numbered just like their door was numbered.
Kyata could of smacked the palm of his hand into his forhead. He had to remember to be more specific. "No..I mean what are you sleeping in?" he encouraged trying to sound patient. "Ohhhh! Bed." He said, sounding quite amused by the fact that he'd misunderstood, "I camp with Ashton in his room, there's plenty of room since the bed with wicked huge and we are both really... not."
Ashton gave a little giggle at that, finding it amusing that they were both labeled as tiny in Roll's mind despite Roll being far smaller then anything Ashton had seen in his life so far.
Kyata tried to not look alarmed as he learned this information. So he only continued to force himself smiling. "Well..how about this? I have my old room you can have...actually its a whole house. All your size too...should fit you as well when you grow." He continued thinking back to his dollhouse that he could no longer fit in. Roll looked up at him, "Really?" He asked, sounding rather surprised, "Dude... that's so cool of you." Imagine! A house that was all his!
Crevan looked a little unsure of this, getting gifts from a stranger seemed a little odd to him, "Any reason for the generosity?" He asked, wondering what the guy was thinking at the moment. While it was nice of him to offer such a thing, something Crevan knew deep down, he couldn't help but question it anyway. He was so very socially awkward that it hurt...
Ashton gave a little grin as he looked down at Roll, "Can clear the night stand." He murmured to his brother, one of very few times where he actually said all that much. The night stand would be a perfect place to put Roll's house and that way they could still share a room.
Kyata nodded his head though it meant he would have to ...get their contact information so he could deliver the dollhouse to Roll.
"Why not help a fellow gogo? I too was once like him you know..." He responded his tone icy at the questioning of the gift.
"Besides...he could get crushed sleeping in a bed with your other son." He continued the worry evident in his tone.
Crevan seemed to mull over the answer before finally giving a nod. He supposed that was a good enough answer and it would be a bit of a shame for Ashton to roll over some night and smush Roll... he doubted the mushroom boy would ever get over something like that, "Alright, sounds good then."
Kyata nodded his head and then looked to where a nakpin was laying and walked over to pick it up.
"here let me get your address so I can drop the dollhouse over. I just ...need to clean it up .." He murmured thinking on how he has collasped a couple walls when he had grown...
Crevan nodded, writing down the address after giving Kyata a long look. He was pretty sure he could take him in a fight he'd decided so in case he were some sort of strange stalker type that was looking for his address for such a reason.
Roll and Ashton both looked quite excited over the dollhouse, both wanting to see what it was like and both wanting to get home to get the night stand all cleaned up and ready for when Kyata brought it over.
Kyata eye'd the man over as well, though he was not the type to get physical, he was more the shout and be depressive type. He tried to have good thoughts fo Roll...but he just ..felt unedge with his parent. Perhaps he reminded him to much of his first parent...who knew. "I will give a call before I come over..." He murmured as he looked over his shoulder and to the empty sushi bar. He wished he could just leave now.
Crevan nodded once more, "Alright, we will see you when we see you." He said, feeling at least a little better now that he at least had an idea of what to expect in the future. He motioned to Ashton and Roll, "Come on you two, we heading out."
Ashton nodded, replacing Roll on his shoulder before he got up to his feet, lifting a hand to wave at Kyata, "Byebye." He murmured.
Roll lifted a foot to give a wave as well, "Later Dude." He said before plopping down to sit on Ashton's shoulder and the trio headed out of the shop. Crevan was determined to find dinner now, preferably at a place where it wouldn't turn into a kid if left out over night.

Hanging Out at Home
Ashton and Roll were sitting on the couch, watching the scene that was playing out before them. Both of the young boy's were looking so very amused and their father's friend looked as though he were going to die laughing... and Crevan was standing there twitching, unamused.
"Ahh... hahahaha... Oh... Crevan that is so... so funny." He said, lifting a hand to try to smother another round of giggles. He couldn't help it, the poor man... in such a short period of time he'd been blessed with not one but two sons and to find that one was a ferment and one was a fungus... oh... it was just to funny that he couldn't help but laugh, felt almost dizzy from it.
"It not nearly as funny as that, I could take a few days off from work to try to get this all figured but... now..." He gave a groan before he sat down on the couch next to the boy heavily.
Yukito walked over to sit down with them on the arm of the sofa, "I will help out where I can of course." He offered, to help make up for the fact that he'd laughed at his situation. He leaned forward to give him the man a nudge with his tail, "Now, smile. Things are going to be alright. I mean... whats one more, right?" It was his mother's motto, he'd grown up with a house full of people because of it.
He gave a little sighing sound, he missed it the sounds that came with a crowded house...
Crevan looked over at him for a long moment then gave him a little push back to draw the dragon boy out of whatever memory he was lost in that caused him to make such a face, "I am sure it will be and I will do my best at this, I just worry and..." He looked over at Yuki, "I can't ask you to help. You do way to much already if you added in babysitting I am sure you would finally work yourself to death. I won't help you in that endeavor, you can't save the world single handed."
The man slouched back against the couch, "I met another of his kind, Roll's I mean. Looked a whole lot different. He says that Roll will change as he grows too."
Yukito looked over at Roll and gave a smile, "Is that so? I wonder what he will grow up to be." He murmured.
Roll hopped up on Ashton's shoulder, bouncing back and forth on his feet, "Dude! I wanna be like the Dude on the Television! He was wicked cool and can do anything with a knife, a straw, two paper clips, and a rubbercband!" He said, "I'm gonna be like that!"
"You don't need a knife at your age." Both Yukito and Crevan said at the same time before exchanging a glance then gave dual shrugs.
Roll plopped down on his brother's shoulder once more, "Spoil sports... that's so fail..." He muttered, swinging his feet in a bored manner. How was he supposed to do even a quarter of the cool stuff that Dude did if he didn't have a knife? Maybe when he got older he could get one? Hrm... he would have to see.
Ashton gave a little laugh, giving his brother a careful pat on the head so as not to hurt him, "When will Kyata come?" He asked of his Daddy.
Crevan gave a shrug as he relaxed back against the couch, "Not a clue, I guess we will see."
"Kyata?" Yuki asked.
"The guy who is like Roll, he has a house for Roll to stay in at night so he doesn't get squished. The guy was prickly but wanted to help so... Eh." Would be foolish to reject his help and his gift out of hand just because of that.
"Prickly... heh. Reminds me of someone I know." Yuki said with a laugh.
Crevan gave him a look, "Do you want me to toss you out?" He asked, pointing at the door, "I am sure your light enough to throw a good distance."
The dragon shook his head rapidly, "No, no. That's alright." He said, giving a bright smile before he looked over at Ashton and Roll, "How about we go and start dinner, huh? You two can help me out if you like."
They both nodded rapidly and Ashton hopped up to his feet and reached out to take hold of Yukito's hand.
Crevan tilted his head as he watched the three heading into the kitchen and couldn't help but smile a little at the scene. Then he rose to his feet and followed along after them, feeling strangely lonely when they had all left the room. It was a strange feeling to him, foreign since he was a loner type most of his life... this whole family thing wasn't so bad.
