She shrugged, watching pasta swirl in the boiling water. "Not as hopping as the club, but less violent." She drew one knee up to her chin and wrapped her arms around it. "Not as violent as the main house, either," she laughed.
((I know, but I keep thinking if we keep going somebody might jump back in. Maybe I'm too much of an optimist. XD))

((I'll stay optimistic if you do. :]))
Alex agreed readily. "Very true. Sucks that we didn't get to have our fun after such an annoying day. Instead we got more of that same annoyance." He grimaced, just realizing now how irritating it was.

"I say we riot," she proposed, deadpan as long as she could hold the expression. "After," she added soberly, "we eat delicious tortellini."
((Sounds like a plan.))

Alex nodded, trying not to grin. "Agreed, after the tortellini. And possibly whatever alcohol I can find in the basement." With that he slipped away for a few minutes, finally returning with a couple different wines and some hard liquor. "Too dangerous to get smashing drunk or anything, but I know I severely need a drink."

"What do you think would happen if we got a product drunk like the guy back yonder? Do they even have the capacity to get drunk, or does that ability get removed as well?" She wondered sarcastically, hopping down from the counter and scouring cupboards until she found one with glasses. She brought two over to Alex and his cache of bottles. "Well, no beer, but wine can't be that bad."

Sven was trying hard to reach the two. He hoped Alex had his cell phone on him.

Alex uncorked a well-aged wine, pouring the dark liquid into the two glasses. "I'm willing to bet he at least has a ridiculous tolerance for the stuff. So I guess he never get's the uplifting experience of being drunk." He chuckled, and wandered over to handle the pasta for a second.

Startled by a buzz and ringing from his pocket, Alex nearly spilled the pasta before fumbling about to answer the cell phone. "Hey, Sven? We've been trying to get a hold of you!" Only the Main House would bother calling at this particular time, so he was already certain of the caller.

"I do hope nothing bad has happened to either of you. Forgive me for not answering but it's hard to hear the phone ring when Michael has his music blasting." There was a pause on the phone. Most likly it was because Sven was giving Michael a dirty look.
"I want you two to come back here immediatly. I do hope neither of you have been attacked." That was more of a question then an actual statement. After hearing what Sarah had to say, he just wanted to make sure the two of them got back safely.
"Are you able to come back or do we need to send out a team?"

Keeli perked notably. "Great! What does the All Mighty say? What's up?" she asked, interrupting the phone call and drawing up close to see if she could overhear anything Sven said. It was nice to know they hadn't all been massacred back at the main house.

Alex switched the phone to the ear away from Keeli, frowning slightly and shushing her. "We're both fine, but we definitely were attacked. Same crazy product from earlier today, I don't know how but he found us at the club. We're out here at the Safe House right now." He absentmindedly stirred the pasta as he talked. "I don't know about coming back though, if that guy could find us there then he might still be on our trail. Maybe we could, otherwise we could come back tomorrow. I'll ask Keeli, one sec." Holding a hand over the speaker of the phone, Alex turned back toward the impatient woman. "Home, or overnight here?" He asked quickly.

She chewed her bottom lip. She didn't like to be away from the main house, but with the product possibly still after them, it might be saver to keep a small distance for a little while.
"He could still be after us, just waiting for us to lead him home, but I'm pretty sure I ditched him. I don't know. Maybe just one night here to see what happens?" She was unsure about her opinion as she delivered it. "Is there any way Sven can get a tag on him if he left a trail from the club, maybe see what general direction he went?"

Sven was waiting impaitently, trying to think up something that he coud do. The old man moved from the table and up the stairs and into his office. He grabbed some of his own equipment before walking back down the stairs.
He could overhear Keeli just enough. "You two stay put. I'm heading out to get you."

Alex grinned at Keeli's indecision, hearing Sven's command as she was still bouncing back and forth. "Right right, we will. Just be sure you aren't followed. Later, Sven." Alex quickly hung up the phone, and turned to Keeli. "Dad's coming to pick us up. Spur of the moment kind of decision, if you ask me, but he's coming anyway. We should eat." Alex ended nonchalantly, and soon found a pair of heavy duty paper plates.
