Inazuma's ears twitched as he lifted his head. He looked around, not fearful of this creepy laugh but not completely settle either. He got up and pin-pointed where the laugh for comin from and looked in that direction, "Who are you?... and what do you want?" he asked boldly then sat down and waited for a reply.

Maera's smirk disappeared as she silently pounced to tree branches higher up. He had looked straight at her, which was unsettling. She wanted to know weather he could see her in this black darkness, or if he had guessed lucky with his other senses.

Inazuma had already picked up her scent, so naturally he looked up. Though he couldn't see her, he knew the general area she was in. He wondered though, 'The smell of blood on a female?' he questioned himself. 'but it sounded like a girl laughing..' he continued to think.... Now he was curious as to what was stalking him.

Maera smirked to herself as he looked just to the side of her; it wasn't with his vision that he was tracking her. He must have an enhanced sense of hearing to have figured where she was that easily, and at least a decent sense of smell. She there quietly, her tail flicking, waiting.

Inazuma sighed as he laid back down; not quite sure why she was so interested in him. He tried to get the last few hours of rest before the son came up. After all he was sure she'd run once it started to get light....

Maera sat down comfortably on her tree branch, her tail casually swishing from side to side. "You know you're a fool to sleep in the forest alone without a light or protection of sorts?" She flickered her eyebrows and her eyes glowed eerily, just as eerily as the sound of her voice was.

Inazuma shrugged, "I'm not fool, I just don't fear the unknown... Do you?" He asked the shadows, not caring where she was. He streched then curled back up. "Isn't it a sign of fear when you hide in the shadows?" He added to his question.

Maera shrugged. "That way of thinking will get you killed one day." She said, almost cheerily. The last one she had met had had fire with him, this one had nothing. Naturally, it took less for her to have been proven that he was not a threat. "It is not fear, more of... caution, you could say. I'm not going to get myself foolishly involved in something i need not be in.

Inazuma: "Well, even though you don't smell like a typical female.... I still say that you are no threat." He said, still curled up and warm. He eondered what she wanted with him.

Maera glared at this male, who seemed to only spit foolish words from his mouth. It aggravated her to no end. She was quiet, knowing that she should not egg him on in this situation. Besides, maybe she could have some fun with this one for longer than the male whom had claimed love and then never returned. Oh how she had come to despise him.

Inazuma streched as he got up, rested enough and sniffed the air. He looked up at her, at least where he could smell her, then hopped onto the tree. He sniffed around to smell her; he wasn't annoyed, he just wanted to see the girl behind the voice.

Maera's ears twitched as she watched him blindly climbing. She took a silent jump to a new branch on a tree a ways away. She then turned to watch and see what he would do.

Inazuma sniffed around, "Ugh, you moved..." he said as he looked around and tried to listen. He then laid down on the branch and relaxed, waiting for her to blow where she was. "Why hide?" he asked, "Do you think I'm going to hurt you?" he added.

Maera spirked, his obvious reactions completley in her prediction. She silently jumped to another branch, and another, until she was above him and behind where he was looking. Her tail flicked, and she waited.

Inazuma sighed, "It shall be morning soon..." he told her as he laid there. " Why do you have so much intrest in me?" he added as he sniffed around able to smell her in several places but stronger near him.
