Dear mother author,
It seems I have many twin siblings, and I do not mean Lucius, for he is an idiot and incompetent oaf of the highest degree and only looks like me. How many characters are you going to write with my exact mannerism, vocabulary, temperament, and appearance? I mean honestly, I feel like I'm just a part of a cycle of hypothetical scenarios in which you use the same characters in slightly different situations with different names. Deal with this!
At least you have chosen me as your second favorite son (Yes, I know that half elf/half vamp prince is your most involved character) and as such, you have dedicated yourself to my story (that's right. MY story) long enough to complete one book so far, which is far more than I can say for princey.
Now, what am I to do about Mortaeus, Melody, Lucius, and Cherish? And what the devil was all that business with the glimpse of Cherish's son? You put me in quite a state over that, and you KNOW how I despise my own weakness and surprise. I don't know how I'll ever overcome Mortaeus, especially now that Melody has gone to him for help when I could have been the one to help her. Now she's caught up in all of this mess with him, and AUGH! s**t is going to hit the fan, isn't it?
