Calum sat and allowed himself to be clung to, his tail going still. In hopes of soothing his mate, he nuzzled Sydney. He began crooning again.

Syd sniffled, pulling away from him and staring at the ground, "I'm sorry, Calum..." He muttered, watching his tears fall to the ground.

He raised a brow, slightly annoyed by the apology. Unlike his other half, he knew what had truly happened. The girl's stench had been all over Sydney...
He shook his head and nudges at Sydney.

Twitched, his ears dropping as Dreville clearly voiced her protest, scratching at him and kicking and pulling his hair. It wasn't until she decided to disappear that he finally looked up at Calum, "I-I didn't mean to..."

He shook his head, and once again nudged Sydney. As far as he was concerned, Sydney could save all the apologies for when his weaker half was out again.
He flattened down to his stomach in front of Sydney. He looked up at his mate and gestured for him to get on.

Syd sighed, deciding to stop talking, and he watched Calum, an ear flicking.
He stood, looking down at him, before carefully straddling him.

Satisfied, he stood carefully and began to pad off into the woods. His movements slow so that Sydney wouldn't fall off.

He sniffled, more tears rolling down his cheeks, some landing on Calum's back before he could wipe them. He stared down at Calum, wondering where he was heading.

Calum didn't acknowledge the tears, there would be time to comfort his mate later. First he had to get to shelter.
He went deeper into the woods.
(Can I time hop an hour or two Kranky?

A strange bubbling went on in his stomach. Perhaps it was the wine, or, perhaps it was guilt. He'd never felt it this bad before. He whimpered, closing his eyes and placing a hand on his stomach.

He looked back over his shoulder at Syd, and his ears pinned back. In the back of his mind, he wondered if Syd was going to end up regurgitating on him.
Not pleased by the prospect, he picked up his pace some. After a little passed an hour had passed, a small cave in the side of a cliff came into view.

He made a mental note not to puke all over Calum. If he had too, he'd roll off and do it. But, luckily, that never happened.
He flicked an ear, and stared ahead at the cave.

Calum entered the cave that was surprisingly short in length. The sound of his claws scraping over the rock ground echoed through the tunnel as he traveled the short distance to the back.
At the back of the cave was a small set up. A ratty sleeping bag was rolled out on the ground with a small lantern beside it. Calum's clothes were carelessly tossed in a pile, his glasses resting on top. And there was a portable heater he had swiped from Etah's room.
During his week away from Sydney, this is where he had been hiding.

Sydney sighed, looking around for a few moments before feeling lightheaded, he felt like passing out.
