Once the little training session was over, Robert began to make his way back to where the crowds where in order to try and find his way towards the dinning hall of the boat. He blinked a bit as he heard the umbreon speak. It wasn't surprising to hear a pokemon speak human, but normally only psychic pokemon and riolus/lucarios could do such a thing. "Your umbreon's quite well trained to be able to speak human tongue." He spoke with a smile.

Cole's mouth dropped open "D-did he just...speak?" Cole asked, he had never heard a Pokemon talk before so he was in awe that one could.

Blakki picked up speaking"-Twin-like bond. So we always-"Blakki stopped talking.
"know what the other is thinking."Blue continued.
"It is rather dangerous, we're linked at such a high level-"Blakki continued
"That the pain one of us feels."Blue continued.
"The other will feel, just as intense."Blakki said.
The two shook their heads."Anyways, it more than training, as you just saw. We don't really like doing that because it freaks people out."Blue said.
"We can break our synchrony, but it's very hard to do, and we have to concentrate to keep us split apart."Blakki said.
"Its our gift."Blue said.
"And yet, its our curse."Blakki finished.
"Enough about us."Blue said, wanting to move away form that subject."You yourself have some awesome looking Pokemon!"Blue said looking at Roberts Pokemon."Your Lucario's fur is so well groomed!"Blue said looking at Zack closely.

Cole stared at Blue, then at Blakki, then back to Blue, then back to Blakki before looking at his Breloom.

Robert gave a nod as the two spoke. "Interesting. I'm sure you must keep your umbreon out of pokemon battles when it can be avoided." He replied. "It's the first time I've ever seen a pokemon talk that wasn't a psychic type, other than my Lucario Zack here. He uses aura waves like my Gardevoir Lilly uses psychic waves." he spoke in response.

"Are you kididng? This makes our battle style that much more unpredictable. Once I had Blakki shout the commands to my Pokemon in whatever language Pokemon use. I can tell you Volkner chased us out of the gym. Something about our 'gift' is cheating. He was just upset he lost."Blue said.
"Anyways, which one of your Pokemon got turned Delta?"Blakki asked both Robert and Cole, curious at what other Pokemon got turned Delta Species.

All of a sudden, the sound of a Grasswhistle seemed to carry on the wind around the boat. Following the sound, one would eventually find that the cause was a Roserade, using the move in the form of a beautiful musical score to try and make a young girl happy.
"Thank you FaunaSpike, but I don't think it's enough" the girl spoke in a crystal clear tone, examining her flowing silver hair. "I just don't know what's wrong with me. I've known you and Joybringer since I came here, and Selena before I left home. Yet I'm still afraid of all three of you."
the Roserade told her, placing the red bouquet of her right hand on her leg.
"But why? Why did Selena become a Delta Species?" she asked FaunaSpike, as if expecting an answer. "I thought she'd be immune to that."

Robert shrugged. "Well, gym leaders do make the rules at thier respective gyms, but the Battle Sallon maiden of the Battle Tower uses her emotional connection with her pokemon to issue commands without anything verbal being spoken from what I've heard." He spoke before taking out his pokeball. "My Nidoqueen is my Delta. She was fine up until after the Heonn Grand festival preliminary round was over. When she became infected and changed to a psychic type, I had to take her out of my battle lineup for the second round battle part. Otherwise, that would give me an unfair advantage." He spoke in reply.

"My Delta Pokemon is a Shuckle. It's a Steel Type so taking it down was an unbelievable pain." Cole explained.

Overhearing the conversation, FaunaSpike heard about other Delta Species and thought Kalina would like to meet others who had them too. But she just refused, saying "No, I prefer to be alone. I don't want people to get too close to me." She then began to talk in a bizarre language, which was the native tongue of her home. Only those who came from where she came from, or those well versed in her kind, would understand her. Her voice subconsciously rose, as she knew that she wouldn't be understood by anyone here. {After all, it's my fault.}
{But how can it be your fault?} FaunaSpike asked in confusion, obviously having knowledge of her language.
{If I hadn't come to this planet, I doubt that this would have happened} Kalina answered. {FaunaSpike, you can go have some fun. I'll just stay here by myself.}
Sighing, the Roserade began to walk along until she came across the Umbreon. Secretly, her plan was to get someone over to Kalina to say hi, and she turned to see how she was doing. But she seemed to be just staring out at the sea, singing a song to herself in her own language.

"We know Volkner personally. I heard he got bored after we left though. So we came back and he booted us out! He just added that rule to the board! How we we supposed to know?"Blue said. "My Mothim shows that he's a Delta Species, His wings are now large pieces of ice, its really beautiful in the sunlight, its like a rainbow of colors when Mothim takes flight.
Blakki heard the Grass whistle and looked over to see the young woman."She thought one of her Pokemon was immune..."Blakki muttered under his breath.
"No."Blue said to Blakki.
"Why not! You're just as curious as I am!"Blakki protested.
A few moments pass.
"Thats why."Blue said breaking the silence.
"Damn you and your persuasive arguments."Blakki cursed.

[Um, Yes]Blakki said to FaunaSpike.[I'm Blakki.]Blakki said in an irratated tone, after Blue had mentally told Blakki to 'mind his manners'
"Yes we were.Yet another drawback."Blue said to Cole's Breloom."If you're are wondering I don't understand Pokespeak directly. I read his mind and heard what you asked him."Blue said, his eyes closed the entire time.
The boat began to lurch forward. There were still a lot of trainers waiting on the beach, a lot were complaining. The boat could only hold so many people and Pokemon at a time.

Robert smiled "Ice wings. If they ever allowed Delta pokemon in contests that would certainly give you a very nice entrance to impress the judges with." Robert replied with a smile before giving a slight sigh. "I just wish I could allow Julia to participate in contests and gym battles. The poor girl loves to battle and perform, now she can only battle other trainers and gym leaders that allow Deltas." He spoke.

FaunaSpike laughed. Deep down, she knew she was going to get into a lot of trouble for this, but she didn't have a choice. She hated seeing Kalina so sad, and her usual Grasswhistle tune wasn't helping. This was pretty much the only option they had left.
