DJ managed to avoid the second bat attempt to his head, but unfortunately, for him, he met the bottom of Matt's shoe as a kick from Matt collided with DJ's head!

Matt looked down at DJ, and began to laugh again.
"This is too easy! Silver said he had a match for me, not a picnic! Get up!"
Matt would attempt to kick DJ's gut until he finally started to get up. Once he did, he would back away and wait for him to stand.

DJ felt a few nasty stomps from Shanahan. His body flailed around a bit from the impact from the much bigger, Shanahan's boots! It seemed like Matt was allowing DJ to get to his feet, as Matt put a temporary halt to his assault. DJ slowly got up to a vertical base. He opened his right hand, then shot it towards Shanahan's cheek, hoping to connected with a open hand slap to the 'Punk's' cheek!

Matt was hit with the slap, turning his head. He turned back to DJ, his eyes blazing with fury as he attempted to send a kick to his knee. If successful, he would attempt to swing the baseball bat at the knee he kicked and knock it out from under DJ!

Shanahan's kick connected with DJ's knee! The attack wouldn't stop there unfortunately Shanahan would aim his trusty bat right for DJ's knee! The impact from the bat, caused DJ to fall to the floor, yet again!

Matt looked at DJ and sighed.
"I'm starting to wonder if I should just finish you off..."
Matt would then raise the baseball bat up in the air, and attempt to bring it crashing down on DJ's knee and hopefully break the baseball bat in half from the impact!

DJ out of desperation, shot a kick forward upward from the ground, hoping to kick matt in a place he and his future children wouldn't exactly like! xd

Matt was was kicking, grunting and backing away in pain. Once he was away from DJ, he looked at a nearby fan and sighed, before letting out a loud roar of pain and grasping the barricade wall with his free hand to keep himself up.

DJ grinned. Finally he could get some time to recuperate and to hopefully regain the upper hand in this match. DJ reached a knee, as Shanahan mourned in pain!

Matt brought himself back up to full height, and began to limp away from DJ, heading towards the ramp. He saw a fan with a lighter, and quickly grabbed it from him. He then continued to limp, looking back at DJ and snickering at the plan forming in his head.

"Uh-Oh." DJ said as he finally reached his vertical base. Matt Shanahan + Lighter = Something dangerous! DJ quickly looked under the ring apron. "Alright lets see." DJ looked around for a random object to maybe strike Matt with! "I'll go ahead and grab this!" Dj reached for a kendo stick and placed it in his right hand. "Alright, Mr. Shanahan, how are you going to like this?" Dj mumbled. DJ looked to Shanahan, waiting for him to head his way.

Matt looked at DJ, and began to walk around the ring again, only to trip over his own feet... Or so DJ would think. He stayed down on his knees, out of DJ's sight, holding the lighter tight against his shirt... Waiting for DJ to walk around the corner...

"The hell?" DJ walked over to where he saw Matt last. He clutched his Kendo Stick in hand. He turned the corner, only to see the psychotic, Matt with his shirt on fire... "What the fu--!?"

Matt's shirt was now ablaze as he quickly pushed up and ran at DJ to tackle him back into the barricade, a sadistic smile on his face.

'Awwh s**t!!" DJ yelled, it seemed like Matt was planning this blazing spear since he got his hands on that lighter! DJ was slammed right into the barricade, with Matt following him to it.
