Luthor starred at the present that was hed out to him before looking passed it at her. He wasn't sure why but... he felt oddly suspicious of the gift and the one giving it... a foreign feeling that he pushed away. He lifted a small, pale hand up to take hold of the box before drawing it to him, "Why?"
He didn't seem to understand, why bring a gift when she didn't know him and he didn't know her? They had just exchanged names but there was a gift for him... it all seemed quite odd... It didn't keep him from unwrapping it though, undoing the ribbon that tied it closed so he could keep it for later, all but shredded the paper, and opened the box.
The boy's heart skipped a beat when his eyes met the eyes of the creature in the box and he nearly dropped it before realizing it wasn't real... no... just a stuff animal from the looks of it. He lowered the box to set it on the floor before he poked at the pink creature, "Neat." He murmured, lifting it up with one hand to inspect it more closely.

"Because you're new and I figured you might like something nice that's just for you?" she blinked a bit at his questioning her gift. Well, Ebby blink, which was mostly a strange motion of her closed lids. One could tell by the muscles around her eyes and the movement in the lids what it was though.
"I didn't know what kind of plushie you were like so I picked one that felt right. I unno why." she offered sheepishly.

Luthor nodded his head at her explanation before lifting the plush animal out of the box and looked it over. It was... interesting, a bright pink color with bit, dark eyes that seemed to stare at whoever it was pointed at in an unblinking manner.
"I like him." He said, patting the pig on the head before he went to looking for a crayon that was the same olor as the pig and another the same color at this girl's skin. He would see if he could draw a picture of the nice girl and his plush pig... it was the best he could do in exchange for the girl.

Ebby grinned. "I'm glad." she said before standing up and wandering over to say a proper hello to Almas and Hyacinth, and give both hugs.
"Well, I'm glad you're in too bad of a shape, Almas. I'd be sad if you were." she said with a warm grin as she hugged him. "You and Hyacinth seem to collect scars. It's bad for you, you know."
Giving Hyacinth his hug next, she grinned. "You taking good care of Almas?"

Luthor was back to coloring, with the pink pig sitting on his lap in no time... though despite looking as though he were doing the exact same thing as before his young mind was whirling... this girl was a very strange girl. She gave out presents without asking for anything in return, she travelled alone despite looking to be the same size that he was, and she had come in the company of a demon.
He found himself curious as to what sort of monster she had to be... and how old she really was! He bet she was really, really old and was only short cause she pretended to be! He gave a nod to himself, it made sense... that was why she was able to do everthing she did.
Almas gave a smile, hugging her with his good arm. "Yes, Hyacinth was trying to tell me the same thing earlier." He said, flushing a little bit. He hadn't really meant to get hurt this time around, had been trying to talk his way out of the confrontation... oh well, it was over now and not something he really wanted to dwell on.
Hyacinth gave a nod of his head, "I am doing my best, he can be a difficult patient at times. He is really putting my Virtue to the test." He was glad to be the angel of Patience... otherwise the uphill battle with the Fallen might be a little harder.

Ebby giggled at that. "You two are silly." She told the two before taking up a seat on the bed by the two angels - for she'd always consider them as such, even if one was Fallen.
"So apart from getting hurt and Luthor arriving, what all has been going on? Anything in particular?" the girl asked, leaning her head back so she could smile up at them. "How's your plant Hyacinth?"

Almas gave a little smiel at her words, she was so young and innocent he thought, barely able to keep himself from giggling. She asked such things so easily, aside from having a child and getting hurt what else was going on, "Not... to terribly much." He said, thinking on it. Those two moments were the most exciting and as such stood out most in his mind, everything else paled in comparison.
Hyacinth's good wing gave a little flap, "Its doing well, thank you. It seems to have gotten bigger. Anani says it might need a new pot soon." He sounded proud of himself, that he had been able to keep the plant alive and well enough that it was flourishing made him so very happy.

"Oh. I shall have to bring you one when I come by next.' she said with a nod. "I'll pick one up when I'm out with Mommy next. She's been taking me places lately - she says it's cause Bailey's getting bigger again and is trying to get used to it."
"Speaking of which, how's your bluebell been, Almas? I know you haven't had much time for it lately, what with waiting for Luthor." she asked, only just remembering the little plant. Hyacinth seemed a bit more enthralled with his, rather than with a vessel that was containing his soon to be child, so she tended to forget that the Fallen had also received a plant many weeks ago. Most likely it was probably in a sore state by then, but that was okay with her. Almas had a lot on his mind.

Almas's eyes went a bit wide at the mention of the plant, surprise became worry as he glanced toward the door, "I... am not sure." He murmured, so much had happened that he couldn't remember the last time he'd watered the place... worry became guilt, "I should go and get it..." He wondered if it were even still alive...
Hyacinth shook his head, catching hold of Almas's good hand before he could even attempt rising to his feet, "Oh, no. You will stay here and rest Almas. I am sure there is someone else that can get your plant for you. Maybe that demon that is always here." Might as well put the demon to work if he were going to hang out after all.
Luthor turned to look over at the his Daddy, Hyacinth, and Ebony as they spoke... only rising to his feet when he saw the strange look in Almas's eyes that was akin to saddness. He toddled over to him, leaning against his legs before wrapping himself around the Fallen's middle. He didn't know what else to do but hugging seemed to help, Almas seemed always to smile when he was hugged.

Ebony smiled softly. "It's okay if you don't know." she said, her voice as soft as her smile. "I just wondered s'all. Enki and I can look for it later. Hyacinth is right, you should stay in bed."
Ebby's expression brightened a lot as she watched the boy hug Almas. Yay! The child would at least make her friend happy! That was good.

Almas looked between the three before relaxing a little bit, "I... guess your right." He murmured, relaxing a little. While he was worried about the plant it had a lot to do with worry that Ebony would be upset with him. She seemed to understand though, that a lot had been going on so he had been unable to look after the plant.
He lifted his hand to run it over Luthor's wavy, purple highlighted hair gently, "If its still alright I can take over its care once more after I am feeling whole and healthy again." He was doing better so it wouldn't take him to much longer to be back on his feet again.
Luthor gave a happy sort of sound when he felt his Daddy relaxing, his mood seeming to lift a little. While he was still very new to the world he could feel it from both of these angels, they had moments when they were to sad... he didn't much like it.

Ebony grinned. "Don't worry about it." she finished with a nod before standing up and stretching a bit before going to stand closer to Hyacinth than Almas, to give the father and son some time together.
"Hey Hyacinth, do you know how to sing? Anani does so I wondered if anyone else around here knew how."

"I am not as good as Anani, it never seemed to be something that I ended up doing often. She practiced a lot though, she is a lot like a sort of song bird... crossed with a prickly plant." She hadn't been by to visit since Almas and his spawn had arrived... then again nobody had. It wasn't just Almas though, more over it was the fact that Vampy's spawn was around and nobody trusted the Boss of the Labs in the least.
Hyacinth wasn't bothered by Luthor though, he seemed like a good enough kid... quiet and studious, always working on his drawings or cuddling up with his parent. He was to young to be dangerous... It bothered him that his Brothers and Sisters did not see it as he did...
Coleur would if she had the chance but she hadn't come by either, maybe she was to busy.

Ebony smiled. "Well, prickly plants have to be prickly. It's how they stay safe. And they can have just as pretty flowers and be just as helpful as the rest of them." she understood Anani's tension. She wanted to be able to give affection to the abstinence angel as she did her other friends, but she knew it'd take time. And Ebby was learning patience from associating with Hyacinth. But it was the hardest virtue for her to adopt so far.
"I've been trying to learn lately. My big brother Bailey is trying to learn guitar and they were playing Christmas carols when we went to get him one. They're really pretty so I've been trying to learn them. Mommy says it's a human tradition to go singing these songs from door to door at Christmastime. Though I don't think I'm good enough for that yet."

Luthor drew back from his Daddy, looking up at him to check his current mood before he started back over to where his plush and coloring stuff was sitting. He plopped back down near to the stuff but didn't seem for the moment to be paying attention to it, instead intent on watching Ebony. Strange... she seemed to know some of the other angels as well... it made him curious and more unsure of her.
Almas watched him go back to his things before laying back on the bed, resting his bandaged arm on his chest and the other under his head. He listened to the voices of the other two finding them to be soothing and felt himself starting to doze.
Hyacinth gave a nod of his head, "That sound about right." He murmured, she was prickly but with good reason... there were times it escaped him that not everyone had gotten content with their lot in life. Not everyone was as forgiving as him and not everyone wanted to be here... some wanted to leave still, "People go around singing for one another? That sounds like an interesting passed time. Maybe... if you have enough practice you will be able to do so? It seems the most important part of learning anything."
