*She tilted her head studying Eric* You enjoy this secresy; don't you? This cryptic speech and half answers. It is just as I've sensed that other clan members enjoy stirring up conflict. Only you don't seem to thrive on conflict...it's something else... *she shakes her head as if clearing it.* I'm sorry, sometimes I am too foward. I'm afraid I have ill manners...Hayden was teaching me when I spent time with him. *she shrugs* I guess it never really caught on.

*Mercy turned and kissed her cheek* "I'll teach you how to be a lady dear!" *She smiled then turned back to Eric.* "I also want to know the interest. . . . . but I do not want any conlflict. . . . I merely want to establish the dominace I plan on keeping, I am the riegning pure blood here and I get annoyed easily. . . .that's about it."

*She smiled at Mercy* I don't understand all of this dominance business. Maybe when I'm older it will all click into place, or maybe it's just not having been surrounded by immortals until now. I know what I am capable of, even if others do not.

I have this interest because Mercy has a certain flame I look for in woman. And not many woman have it. though they are different aside from it."

*she nods at Eric* Yes, Mercy does burn a little brighter than most. *she continues to play with Mercy's hair weaving it between her slender fingers.* I find it interesting that you are already looking at potential mates here. I have not really thought about it until now. Still...*she smiles wryly from over Mercy's shoulder* ...I'm not fully recovered from my last affair. *She leaned her face on Mercy's back, knowing that she understood the story best, and took comfort in a new friend. She also harbors a deep fear for caring about others.*

*she shifted Mercy off of her lap and walked over to the bookshelf picking up one of the journals and reading it.* I'm going to give you two some privacy to work through your...whatever...since all the other rooms are crowded. *She moved over to the door sitting with her back against it pouring over the book.* Just let me know when you've resolved it all.

It's not a problem, but next time you come to my room searching out information, do not pretend it is me you're interested in. Fortunately, you hide your heart poorly and I knew you were interested in Mercy, but what if I had been an even younger vampire? What if I had been interested in you? Why, you could have broken my poor half-breed heart. *She laughed a little at the idea* All I'm saying is that you're lucky it was me and not someone with a temper. A jilted vampire could be quite a pain to deal with. So in your quest for knowledge, it would do you well to keep other peoples emotions in mind. *She looked back to her book and sighed, but she was no longer focused on Eric but the contents of the journal.*
