Most probably its true. its 100% true bungie.net says that Team Ninja wanted ot put a Halo character in DOA4, so they made one, showed it to Bungie, they gave them the permission to use her. But bungie still hasn't said anything if the SPARTAN-458 is the character they will use though.

But bungie still hasn't said anything if the SPARTAN-458 is the character they will use though. I got a little more info, can't remember where I saw it but supposidly it's rumored that Spartan-458 has come from the future. And we're talking waaay in the future AFTER Halo 3.

I forgot which one got burned and frozen, and dude no SPARTAN's just vanished after the battle of Reach, read First Strike, it tells the stories of the SPARTAN's hiding underground in Reach fighting off the Covenant, and then some of the SPARTAN's are rescued by Master Chief, either Kelly or Linda was with those SPARTAN's, the other one was frozen in a tube. SPARTAN 458 is rumored to be Kelly, her number is something on the lines of that, and 458 is a female, like what the pics said, so theres a good chance the character in DOA4 is going to be Kelly.

Linda was the one who was frozen in the cryotube, but she was rescued by the Master Chief in First Strike.
Actually, like I've said before the number that most resembles 458 is Linda's (05 cool Kelly's as I've said before is (087) which isn't all that close.

bungie.net released her official bio, and she has 3-5 costumes with her not wearing her helmet, her name is Nicole, a couple of her moves are the Great Journey which is when your opponent is on a lower elevation, Nicole jumps in the air and slams the guy/girl in the face, and another is the Plasma Stick where Nicole sticks a plasma grenede to your opponent then jumps away and watches the fireworks. She ended up in the world of DOA because of a time warp on Mars, sucks for her, she has to use DSL now, which is like super slow compared to her T3000 which could download like 8000gb in a second
