I got a wii cause I have a crap load of GC games and the wii is FULLY backwards compaible. I wouldn't mind a 360. Now that I know that FFXIII will be for the 360 too, I have no interest in getting a PS3. But, I did relent and get a PSP, damn you sony. sweatdrop

My first this generation was the 360, and he's my baby. <3 Other than the DS, the 360 is my largest library. The Wii's in second place though, and there are some surprisingly good games for it.

my old 360 was my baby but that one finally died so we just bought a arcade version cuz we already had a hard drive and it hates me or it hates fable 2...

PS3 i will never buy ether dont like the PS2 much and the PS3 is meant to be really bad meaning breaks and gets to hot to easily.
The 360 is amazing! got some really good games on it love my soulcaibur and i want the Naruto games XD
And the wii is really good to not many choice of games taht are for my age (17) they seem to be more lower age games but there really cool to play XD

really don't like treads like these, nyu.
It ends up filled with insufferable posts by people who don't have all the facts.
PS3- good for the blu-ray. LittleBIGPlanet, I play Rainbow Six Vegas on it. Also Soul Calibur IV, Virtua Fighter, and soon Tekken 6, because I prefer the D-pad for fighters, since the first Playstation.
Xbox 360- Fantastic no doubt, it's staple being Halo. Dead or Alive, GTA IV (because of the exclusive DLC)
Wii- Yes, I'm a Nintendo fangirl. We have our staples- Mario, Metroid, Zelda. It's a very social console, lots of party games, and gems like Okami, No More Heroes, MadWorld.
I like 'em all.
But hey, I've been there. Back in the days on Sega.
*shrug*
I just game, simple as that.

I got a 360 right away; at first it was because Final Fantasy XI was ported to it. The game selection in general is pretty good.

I don't believe in that cliche. I own the 360 Elite and the wii. I rarely even use the wii, I just like the games for it. I'm just more of an fps gamer which I think is the best on the 360!

 I've been growing up with Nintendo all my life, so I'm obviously a bit more biased towards the Wii.
But honestly, Nintendo needs to give the old gamers something, I haven't been interested in any of the new stuff from Nintendo since Brawl.
Other than that, Sony's PS2 was a nice console...I can't say the same for PS3.

im a girl and i went straight for the ps3 ^^ i think its the best out all the game systems so far XP but i do own all the game systems =P

Akumi3 I think it all depends on what kind of games you like.
I'm a Nintendo fangirl so I like the Wii but XBox has good shooters and is coming out w/ RPGs now. Though I heard the RPGs weren't that great.
But if you like shooters then go w/ XBox. PS3 has a lot of good games but it's too expensive for me. ninja Plus most of the games I want are on Wii so spending a lot of money on getting a PS3 isn't really worth it for me. i agree, i started with a ps1 then gamecube, then my wii, which i love. but there arent as many good games coming out right now, so i'm debating to get a 360 just because it as a lot of pretty good games.
